- Had a chance to take out 3 air rifles , my fx hybrid in .177 , Falcon Fn19 .25 cal , Kral puncher breaker .22 cal , a nice outing on pigeons + squirrels ,

Mr. Daveratz, I enjoy your videos a lot. Always accurate and well executed shots. I had to tell you that the BB shot on that squirrel at minute 5:00 has to be nothing more than your .25 pellet going through the critters body , it was facing you when you took the shot and passed the skull and got trapped under the skin. Great job man.
DAVE! Was starting to worry about you, haven't seen you in a long while. Hope you and the Misses are doing okay. That .25 packs a mean punch when it gets there. Also liked the little part with the Ratz. You obviously can put the pellet exactly where it needs to be, no matter the caliber or barrel length, which tells me you have too much experience.Keep rockin sir ... ATVB Don P.S. Hi Dave , i would take a springer ....lol all honesty if i had an air supply it would be my fx hybrid , only because its built purely for me and my shooting style , field strip it in minutes , choice of 4 calibres , the Falcon 2nd again only because its never let me down , Kral are very nice but not a favorite ....yet as not had it long , thanks mate atb Dave

Great shooting again as per. I know what you mean about the P with the BB. Have had a few round here with others pellets stuck under the skin. No respect for the quarry.

Dave I’ve looked at the video a couple of times especially the 25 cal, do you think they will take over from the 22? The yanks love the 25&30 cal.
Hi Dave , i think due to the sub 12 law in the UK the .177 .22 will still rule the roost , if you have a FAC then .25 knocks there socks off , a .25 sub 12 for close range [ 0-35yrds ] vermin is devastating , not many folks can cope with the loopy trajectory but you have to learn hold over / under with any calibre , many thanks Dave
Dave shooting a pigeon at 63yrds with a .25 is not a beautiful shot its an excellent shot. Can you share more detail on hold over hold under and windage . and pellet type . If that's ok . Cheers 👍

Curious about a review on the kral puncher & what your thoughts are after a couple months. Ive heard "things" loose parts jiggles and wiggles. Sloppy barrel... it looks like a good price anc a Nice bullpup. I want one, but i dont want to be sorry later thinking i could have had a benjamine maurauder.
H i Mike , the only problem i found was the mag and holder , mags got a thin raised plastic slide which can be damaged if not loaded properly , can bend a little if pushed while not inline , tall mounts on the scope or eyeline is a little low , shoots spot on , good shot count , but the mags do niggle me a little , atb Dave

Hi bud , the Kral is mk2 , was my mates so i got it cheap , standard untuned so a little work to tune , but seems fine as is atb Dave

Hi bud , not had it long but i did find eyelevel was a little hard to get but once used to not bad , not keen on little line on mag to load but ok onced used to , seems a little to little on mag , shoots very well , good shot count , but if bullpumps dont suit you will struggle , try before buy if possible or visit local range to see if someone has one to try , good luck atb Dave

was that 19.9gr .25 perchance the H&N FTT @ 19.91gr? Those are great in my Benjamin Trail NP XL725. Got my highest chrono numbers from them of 858/32.55.

Hi , they are nice but i had to use scope risers to line up properly , tilt my eyeline down even after removing cheek piece , some folks get on well with them , myself it felt awkward to hold normal , accurate bugger though , i still prefer standard classic shaped rifles , different strokes , different folks , or commonly known as a Marmite guns , see if you can give one a hold is best advice i can give bud...atb Dave

Hi Carl , I dont have a favorite cal as they do their job , my fav gun at the moment is my FX hybrid which ive built of spare parts , it has 4 cal barrels and a good fps spread , consistant as any ive tried , all time favorite , RWS 500+ ive had one for many years , sits on my wall looking good , atb Dave

Got Mambas on a few guns only because they came with them , nice but what do you need it for , how far you shooting , i do find mid range scopes as good as you need , only my opinion , side focus a bonus i deffo think , i use a Viper add on so it fits well with side focus , good luck bud atb Dave
I'm mostly shooting woodies and squirrels out to 55yards. One of my concerns on the mamba is it appears to have an extremely thin reticle and not sure if the cross hair will get lost looking up into the branches. I often use 4x mag when I'm stalking and dial it up to 10x to use mildots for longer shots. Some cheaper scopes I've used if you zero on 4x mag when you adjust the mag it changes point of impact. Does this happen at all with the Hawke?
Second focal plane its called , then ya money goes up a bit , i try to use a fixed mag but ive to many to be fussy , try 2nd hand market for quaility on cheap ....lol Dave

I had to sell my air rifle about five years ago for legal reasons (I actually traded it in one a mountain bike) I've just picked up a Remington tyrant, with 750 pellets, nice bag and smashing scope etcetera for £100!! I want to see the people who own / rent the field I had permission to shoot in just to make sure it's still ok, but it's nice to have a nice rifle again, grate video Dave, I'm really soft about killing animals these days... But I can't help loving eating them once prepared and cooked! I'm pretty content shooting tins etcetera, but I've heard from a channel "Jeffiow" that wood pigeon tastes like sirloin steak??? Sounds lovely, I can put feelings aside and do what's necessary if I do shoot some for the pot! By the way.. It's not religion or advertising... But check out "The Mandela effect" Dave, pigeon as I've always remembered it was spelled "pidgeon" and yacht as I remember it was always spelled "yaght" both funny spellings for something that sounds like"yot" Anyway!
