As ever Dave a master class of hunting with an air rifle. Always good to hear from you mate. Thanks for sharing.
The best air gunner is back!!!!😮 well done mr Dave, you’re the best. Very nice video pal. I am going shooting tomorrow with my brand new HW1000 rapid. Cheers from California mate.
Excellent shooting as always Dave, well done.
Geoff.
A cracking video and a cracking little permission there sir , glad your back and with an extra long video , well worth waiting for
Thanks Davy , its nice to be out again , love this time of year , atvb Dave
Hi dave nice shooting 👍🏻 how do you know your distances for your hold overs. Do you use your parallax adjustment on the scope or do you get to know them by practice. Cheers
Hi Glen , if im on a stalk and walk its down to my years of experience , open fields if new place i spend a few days with r/finder and note book , also learning creatures habits at said place , food/water etc etc , ive shot on most of my perms for 20 + also fitted most fences so distance is imprinted into my little brain box , i always advocate the use of a range finder if new or unsure of shot , atb Dve
Thanks for the replies. Very helpful. Not everyone does. Thanks for the time to write back. Love the videos thanks 👍🏻
Thats tucker sorted a while mate, lol, geez bud. Great video mate, well worth the wait. Cheers Moose
I think you have single handedly taken out the uk's grey squirrel population. Brilliant vid topman, stunning shooting! 👌
Hi Justin , i do like to do my bit .... atb Dave
A truly epic day's shooting! Well done, Dave ;-)
Thanks very much mate , much appreciated , atvb Dave
That was some bag full Dave , I am so impressed with your shooting ability.
Cracking shooting as usual Dave, well worth waiting for ATB,Alun 🐿🐿👍.
Great shooting Dave. I like the way you hunt & don't just sit in a hide. It makes your videos much more interesting than most on youtube.
Thanks Andy , i do like the walk & stalk , sitting is for fishing days...lol atb Dave
Superb as always Dave 👍
On the money as always me olde
Very enjoyable video well worth the wait
Thanks bud , the pleasure was mine , atvb Dave
Great clearance Dave - top class mate 👍👊
Thank you bud , shame i can only do 2 visits a year , but always worth looking forward too , atb Dave
Looks like the little lady (or MA) will be sowing up a winter coat..heehee
What an outing with the airifle always entertaining dave ratz is one of the best.
you have shown us how its done once again, excellent shooting, hope they taste as good as this vid. Super.
Hi dave What a massive bag of squirrels mate superb mornings work and a few bonus woodies That was worth the wait dave great shooting always a pleasure to watch enjoyed that alot Thanks for that dave till next time atvb to you chris
Impressive bag of squirrels without a feeder to draw them in. Cracking shooting Dave, enjoyable video, cheers
Thanks Derek , the wood is open to the public 10 months of the year so a feeder just gets whack by so called animal lovers , i only visit twice a year , landowners request to leave some for their viewing , big chestnut collectors also visit , im happy with my visits none nervous Squirrels normally give me good freezer fodder the the winter , atvb Dave
Very nice shooting Dave! When appears a video, that showes you preparing and cooking the squirrels and woodies ? Greetings, Leon
Hi Leon , hopefully soon bud , just waiting for my life to slow a little , jsut made new roasting irons ,atb Dave
Hi Dave great shooting as always and a good few meals for you keep save Dave.
Thanks Martin , took hours preping the buggers but a good haul for the freezer ,atb Dave
Finally an other great vid from "Mr. Offhand shooter" This .25 cal has a good "ompf" even in a sub 12 fp rifle !! Great shooting Dave!!!
How much drop at 40 yds ,i need to shoot at least 40 -50 yds to get many squirrels 🐿
Dave what's your favourite airgun you seem to like the bsa guns do you rate the hw 100 and do you always use 22 cal
Spot on, you got enough for that 'waistcoat' yet Dave?
atvb t ..
Great shooting, that should thin the numbers out a bit. What distance do you zero the .25 at?
I could never deal with having to have sub 12 ft lbs , good video keep it up man
Hi bud , over here you got to be good or get a ticket , or be good like me....lol atb Dave
I know but that would drive me nuts, I couldn't deal with not being able to hunt whatever I wanted
Hi Dave. What speed are you running the 25 cals at, 900fps?
Hi Matthew , running around 510-515 fps , atb Dave
hi big bro.suppose I am fixing my scope 30metres but I want to shoot the target at 50,60 metres,
then how to aim the target at our scope, do kindly clear out my doubt .
Hi Dave
Very sharp as always and a bit oh humour for good measure.
Quick question. I've seen you shoot at some impressive ranges but have not noticed you using a range finder... do you ever use one?
Secondly, similar sort of range related question. If you don't use a rangefinder are you compensating for incline shooting purely on experience?
Regards
Jim.
Hi Jim , over the years ive shot these grounds night, day ,dawn ,dusk , even do most of the fencing and land work , so now days it comes naturally , i dont even think about some shots but thats experience over time , if i get a new shoot then yes , range finder and note book for a few walks and sits , just learning the land ,feed times and on what, i spend time with my mini binos just watching different times of the day , soon get the drift of the place , atvb Dave
I'm impressed Dave... old school. No margin for error with a 1 inch kill zone. I rely on a bloody range finder too much I think.
Thanks for your time and for the cracking videos.
Absolutely brilliant shooting 😀
Excellent shooting as always Mr Ratz
Thanks Paul atb Dave
Great shooting Dave, should make it an Olympic sport,
Do you guys eat the squirrels over there like we do here in the states? Very nice shooting, I started hunting them recently in the states with a PCP airgun and it's a lot more fun than using an old shotgun.
H i , Yes alot of UK shooters eat squirrels , also sold in resturants , as said much more fun and skill used to shoot with an air gun , atb Dave
Nice bag dave 👍
Well done people don’t realise how damaging squirrels are. Great shooting
Thanks Duncan , most complaints are from city folk , never seen what a squirrel can do to a woodland , flora & fauna , bird life is doing well where i shoot , one of the best morning choruses ive heard , plus it fills my freezer....atvb Dave
Was in Abingdon a few years back with my Dad over from Northern Ireland, we were shocked by how many grey Squirrels running around in the parks beside the river!
Excellent shooting and great entertainment. What would you say is the max effective range of the sub 12 ft.lbs .25?
Dave are you ok, not been any vids for ages
cracking shooting again dave, well done mate
Many thanks Dave atb Dave
Top shooting as always
Nice video, super shooting and hope your freezer is big enough!! Gosh...
No worries Dirk ive 3 freezers , many thanks atb Dave
Dave, do you ever see any of our native Red's ? Or are you too far South for them. I very occasionally see them in the North East.
Hi Dave great video how long you out for. Ps excellent SHOOTING 👍👍
Hi Lori , 7.am till mid afternoon mate atb Dave
Nice to see ya back
Many Thanks , Good to be back out , atb Dave
Some nice shooting Mr Dave great video
Thanks j d atb Dave
Christ , how many guns have you got Dave?, Just asking.
you`re .25 really does the job you ask of it I have been using .177 for a long time now but a lot of the time you have to go for head shots.
Hi jim , the good thing about the .25 is that at closer ranges the impact shock is incredible , when i skin them the internal damage you can see why they drop well , i dont think ive had a skull which has not stayed complete , chest area just seem to collapse , i still use .177 & .22 but at the moment the.25 is in its own league , some say its to loopy , going between .177 to a .22 you think thats not loopy , once mastered the .25 has its place in my gun room , Squirrels dread my visits , thanks jim atvb Dave
He looks a lot older than 25
Dear Matt how many meter zero set scope ?
Hi , scope set at 28yrds atb Dave
Brilliant mate!
Excellent stuff ...enjoyed it immensely , ... fantastic shooting with the .25 ...recon it takes a lot of practice too get that right ...
Btw ...the blue tit ...did he make it ?

Excellent outing Dave, a fair mixture of quarry too. Shame about the wee tit, I hope it survived. ATB... Billy.
Good shooting dave , that 25 is devastating 👍.
Is this legal to kill that many, what's the limit of this state or this country is a lawless country.
Hi , in the UK no limit as classed as vermin , hope that helps atb Dave

Dave, you look like you eat what you shoot like I do, but last time I cooked squirrels they turned out like boot lea5her, have ever thought of showing the viewers how to skin and cook squirrels?
Hi Dave , its all done to time mate , you need cooking lessons bud or turn the heat down....lol i will make some nosh up grub footage next year when things have slowed down , with a little time il turn you into Gordon Ramsey.......atvb Dave
Boul ur squirrel for about 30 mins then fry them
Mary Clouser that’s what I did and it was so chewy and horrible. I am a good cook with anything but squirrels I can’t cook.
@@davekendrick7231 try to boiling your squirrel till the meat is about to fell off the bone. The fry it.
Good one
Boas boa caçada
