    Wildlife photography is one of my favourite things to do as a travel photographer. I honestly would do it every day if I could, and if I was better at it. And, to be honest, I wasn't really expecting the wildlife photography in Sri Lanka to lead to that many nice photos. But, Udawalawe National Park is a gem, and there are so many great opportunities for photos here.

    Sri Lankan Elephants are doing greater job to develop the tourism industry than our government. haha.
    Thank you for traveling in Sri Lanka and introducing its beauty to the world.

    What a beautiful place, Brendan. Seeing one of your Africa videos is what inspired me to start vlogging my wildlife/nature hikes and also splurge on the EOS R. Thanks for being an inspiration for this old guy.

    Thinking back to the days of a safari being more like a camping trip for the wealthy or serious adventurer. Today's world offers so much to anyone willing to put in an effort. What a wonderful experience it must have been. Thanks for sharing. 🐼✌️

    If you go in with zero expectations, photos aren’t hard to get. I’m sure I’ll get more picky if I’m able to go on more safaris. If anyone thought the videos were ever scripted, he totally caught me off guard with that question. - just trying to mind my own business bro... (it was one hell of a journey though)

    So with u don’t know why cameras don’t have a button on top to avoid accidentally pressing for photo to video and another single to servo modes these u need to change the fastest obvious but no one seems to do it ?!

    • @BrendanvanSon
      @BrendanvanSon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They do. But I'm picky and wanted a certain exposure. I should have just snapped it.

    • @andrewbristoe1833

      Brendan van Son news to me ?without delving into the menu or assigning a button a simple video /photo mode button and servo/ one shot not dials for speed press easy the times when I’ve had to fiddle to get from photo/ vid and servo to one shot camera companies should get it!

    Hello Brendan! Great videos! Sorry to bother you... I am a beginner photographer, and I would like to know if you can help me select a camera or give me a few options that I can consider. Its mostly for landscape and wildlife photography. My budget right now would be 2000$. I know the basics of photography but can you please tell me a good Canon option and maybe a few lenses! I would appreciate all the info you can give me. Thanks so much.

    Don't tell Trump about the Bee-eater or he'll probably blame them for the decline in bees ..... and for stealing jobs as well.
