I prefer turkey mince, which for us tastes the closest to American pork sausage, with allspice, lots of pepper, a small amount of ground sage, salt, a little garlic powder and the tiniest bit of smoked paprika.
I've been making your mac and cheese with chicken recipe for some time now, it tastes amazing ^^ and I love that I can eat it cold straight out of the fridge, I actually find it tastes better cold. Love your content
Love it! These freeze very well and if you use a great value square snack bag, you can slide one of these in perfectly. I do this all the time! Just a couple of extra side options instead of having the meat patty what we do here is we will either do turkey bacon or a choice of meat also, for us is mesquite turkey breast two slices maximum I usually use one slice, hickory smoked black forest ham thinly sliced as well. You could also do corn beef, which is really good. We get the 2 ounce packages which makes several of the sandwiches, you could do all sorts of other types of meats as well! We like to use pepper jack cheese or American cheese you could also use Swiss cheese. You can make the sandwiches gourmet just pennies on the dollar explanation point the sky is a limit with these types of sandwiches! I will never be buying an egg McMuffin from McDonald’s for literally six dollars. Are you kidding me! Also the sandwich breakfast maker is so easy to use. They’ve dropped significantly a price. They have a single unit and a dual unit and I have a single unit and I’ve had it for probably close to 10 years or so, well you could put the English muffin on the bottom, then put your meat choice along with your cheese close it. The next section is for your egg which literally has a built-in Metal ring for the egg and then you put your top your muffin on top clothes and three minutes later, you have a perfectly done sandwich and we use all sort of meat as I mentioned above! Also don’t forget the Mc griddles instead of having one at McDonald’s. It’s just outside layer is little mini pancakes that you can make it home super cheap at your sausage, egg and cheese put a little bit of pancake syrup on the inside of the bottom of the pancake and on the inside top layer of the pancake and you have a Mc griddle at home for pennies on the dollar again And again these freeze well because I stock my freezers with these and I will do anywhere from 30 to 60 at a time and I have teenagers these don’t last long even out of a freezer! Also another sidenote instead of doing hash brown patties, which you can find at your local store super Duper cheap and big quantities. We get ours at Walmart, 20 hash brown patties and a pack you could also use homemade potato wedges that you make it home with your own potatoes and put them in the air fryer with all your seasonings on them. We like to do Italian seasoning for hours, and you could also be doing either hashbrowns that are potato O’Brien style that you can make it home or buy in the frozen food section. You can also use tater tots as a side item which is super popular around here. 5:03
lol it’s not cheating to use beef instead of snag meat which is just rubbish anyway. It works for this sort of recipe what you’ve done. Do like these for Brekky lunch or dinner. I love when you whisper. What are those chop stick’s things you used to mix the egg yolks up? This is healthier and taste better than the Golden Arches. Thanks Chef Jack will make these and pop in the freezer, have had to edit things went haywire 😅
That’s what I thought haha. They’re kitchen tweezers. I love them haha used to use them all the time in commercial kitchens so have to whip them out at home to reminisce. Thanks Joey 🙌
@ I have never heard of them, or seen them. Look handy for placing things too that fingers are too clumsy to do nicely. Thanks for the recipe. Enjoy your week ahead.
I'm glad that I found your channel. Your videos give me awesome ideas when trying out new stuff to eat and also let me enjoy learning how to cook for myself when it comes to a good choice for my routine. Awesome content, man👍
the hardest part is finding good egg muffins in my area. Its all Brioche buns and there's very few bakeries, so i would have to go for ciabatta buns at healthiest options, without making my own. Gonna try this today as i just defrosted my minced beef. Will report how it comes out, perfect timing for breakfast video. Kinda funny, found you randomly and now i have around 10 of your recipes saved, very easy to follow and great food. Thanks for the video.
@@ChefJackOvens Just did them. Made only 2 of them to try it out as its for me and my gf for breakfast, but holy hell. This + your "Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Buffalo Honey Sauce" sauce you used in that video...... it was crazy good. That combo is gonna be my go to burger/sandwich or w.e. we can call this. It was amazing, thank you very much.
Jack, you are reading my mind. Yesterday I was craving English muffins and bought some from the store. I’m from Germany and it’s not too common here, honestly I think we only know it from the McDonalds breakfast menu. After I finish my current bunch I will go with your recipe next time. Thanks a lot!
Thanks, Chef! I’ve been following you since you hit your first 100k views. Recently moved to Adelaide and just found out you’re based here too. Your meal prep ideas are fantastic-thank you so much!
@@ChefJackOvens Yes I like ethe runny eggs too but can be messy. Sometime its good to have harder crispy ones and sometimes runny and soft. Vary it up. Either way they are delicious in a nice muffin
Eggs: before putting the lid on, add a scant table spoon of water on the bare bottom of the pan then quickly put the lid on. The eggs will steam and cook through quicker, and they won't burn on the bottom which can be a problem because the burnt bits can pull sauce and loose fillings out and into your lap. DAMHIK. If I cook something I want ot eat it all, not be picking bits up off the floor.
don't you put the recipes on your website any longer? I loved to import these to my selfhosted cookbook, but lately i can hardly find any of the recipes of the videos on the website any longer unfortunately...
I’ve been trying to catch up with it. I’m only a single person that does all of this alone. Sorry there’s been a delay with the recipes being added to the site
hey man. really need a series of bulking videos. high calorie an high protein. i have tried many recipes on the internet but they ont taste that good. i know you can fix this. please do some bulking meals thanks
I think there's some major misconceptions about weight loss going on here. For comparison, a sausage and egg McMuffin from McDonalds is 423 calories, which is less than these, but I wouldn't be going to McDonalds to lose weight.
The issue with McDonalds and home made burger or w.e. you would make is that you can prioritize healthier products and macros over w.e. McDonald or other fast food restaurant puts together because it tastes great, but isn't healthier. If you make the same burger at home with better quality buns (less calories or better macros), less heavy sauce and more meat = instantly better burger than McDonald and way healthier on top, not to mention you could do multiple of them as you most likely buy and make dinner not for 2 bites, so overall cost also gets lower. There's difference in food quality, its one of the reasons why 1000 calories can be both insanely filling meal with high protein count to satiate your hunger or its couple of buns from bakery near work you bought to get with the coffe during the break, both 1000 calories, both taste amazing, but the difference is day and night in quality.
@@ChefJackOvens That and satiety. Whenever I order a McMuffin I always order two because one doesn’t come close to cutting it. Your recipe would easily keep me going though.
Love how this recipe lets you enjoy your favorite foods while still keeping your weight goals on track! Perfect balance of flavor and fitness!

A top tip is to wrap them in a wet paper towel before putting them in the microwave, that way the muffin doesnt dry out

Good one Jack hope you are well mate. Must try these.good idea with eggs yoke. Thanks for sharing. Operation went well mate.❤❤🎉
Amazing to hear that mate! Hope you’re recovering well. Take care and rest up ❤️
I know it changes the totals but I'd butter the toasted muffins, so they're not dry
That would be two meals for me which is fine. Using 1-2 slices of Canadian bacon would reduce the calories but also the protein.
It's all about finding what works for you!
Need to get back on-diet and this might just be the trick! Thanks Chef!

Barbecue sauce, tomato sauce, a cheeky chutney...so many sauce options for this. Maybe even a cheeky hot sauce with a bit of mayonnaise too? 😁
Plenty of choices
