This is the real side of this subculture, reason why we gravitated to this subculture. Early on something in us wasnt like everyone else. We are shy, or to loud, we care to much or dont care at all. Things feel intensified so we find outlets. Punk is one, and that's good until it's not then drugs, drugs are manageable until it's not. I dont know how this person truly felt, so to say he should of kept on fighting is bullshit to say, I don't know him nevermind how he felt. I am sorry for his family.
I was subscribed to this channel to discover new albums, and am only finding out the news just now. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him, and I truly hope he is in a better place.
The whole scene hates on each other People will sit and drink with you, show their love when theyre all wasted and then act like they dont even know you unless you got something for them to get high off of
Please reach out to someone; don't delay or be afraid to seek help. Nick had just started getting intensive therapy & was further devastated when his wife left him. He just lost hope, and faith in humanity. Nick wanted people to understand, to find healing and sobriety so they could live life to it's fullest. 988 will be a new universal suicide hotline that will be nationwide on July 16, 2022.
@@juliagehrig388such a fatuous thing to say and recommend. Only one thing suicidal people should be reaching out to is themselves and not some damn hotline or therapist that just wanna pay check. Happiness doesn't exist and the only way you can be OK is if you look deeply into yourself and go through that battle alone.
@@robinbrandel Robin Brandel That's just too sad. I didn't knew this guy personally, but we shared the same taste in music. We chatted a few times and he helped me find some rare records. The punk stuff he put on youtube is so rare and cool!! Thanks for the cool bands you helped me discover! You seemed like a really good guy! So sad to hear this… I hope you're at peace now
He was a great friend for over twenty years. The world will never know what they missed. Nick was a great man and stood up for punks when no one else would or cared to. It’s very hard for all of us that knew him to process.
My brother was going through alot it wasn't the punk lifestyle that hurt him...that's what actually kept him going he was in a very bad car accident that broke his body he was in a tremendous amount of phisical pain all the time after that I also believe he suffered a brain injury he had bad PTSD from that accident....he also was dealing with some hard personal changes in his life...it just got to be to much...he felt that in the afterlife he could show up for his loved ones better so that's what he did.
