Your last two videos, including this one were the BEST EVER! I love your sense of humor and creativity; a split screen effect...two of you?! Now, that's a whole lot more than the world can handle. 🤣😂BRING IT ON, Taylor! Your creativity in this regard adds so much more than one bargains for. Re: the blade in this video...have you considered doing circumcisions as a sideline job?! 😂 It will surely get the job done! Your laugh and excitement are contagious and alluring! Keep up the great work! I'm really excited to see your future videos! You're by far, the best presenter!
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: That last one is shaped like the human heart... 4 chambers!! (I'm an old retired R.N.) That one's a keeper!
LOVE your opening! The knife, the cookie and the look on your face were so funny. Then you grabbed the geode, and dashed stage left! I almost laughed out loud! I’m going to smile all day. I’m impressed with all the crystals! Thanks for sharing…❤
My preschool classroom inherited some uncut geodes. Man I was so excited to see how you cut them open. Unfortunately we don’t have a grinder saw. Lol. So I guess we will just look at the outside for now. Lol
It's a wet saw. You should watch more videos it's for tile and such. You can touch the blade while it's running and it won't do anything to you he does it all the time. I've known about wet saws from watching This Old House and other home improvement shows. Actual wood saws have teeth and they're dry not wet.
🐝Thanks for teaching us the ‘spinning’ technique for cutting the larger size rocks. I have the 6” saw and this trick is very helpful when the rocks are just a bit bigger than the blade height 🤩👍🏻
I Love geodes always have and idk how i came across your channel but here i am a new sub one because the love for rocks two i love how excited you get when you open one of these geodes and three because you make your videos fun and exciting. Thank you bro
Oh thankfully!!!! You scared me when I saw the knife in the thumbnail pic!!! I know people open geodes like that but then they often end up with odd shaped chunks with possible great crystals inside instead of the beautifully sawed halves with those same crystals inside. 💎
You make cutting videos fun! You always make us laugh. Makes me want to cut my Keokuk geodes. Except I have to scrub every one first, the clay makes everything a mess if I don’t. It’s amazing what beauty is hiding inside of so many treasures!
My dad is in Maine. Keeps trying to get me to move there. He wants me to bring my pans to Coos canyon to pan for gold. Now, I'm wanting to find geodes and other rocks and get a saw and start cutting
Quadrupledgoed you are hilarious and that is an amazing rock! Dan Hurd prospectors had a great "GLOTD" explaing those crystal formations and what they are called. Another awesome video
Cutting videos are second to hunting for me. When you live in the colder climates...inside is the only option. Some of them really look like crystal fingers.
I can’t help but say “AHHHHHHHHHHH” when you finish cutting these open. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your episodes. Thank you so much for sharing. Hubby finally took pity on me after 20 years of collecting & collecting and sorting and tumbling and seeing my disappointment when I empty my 20 pound tumbler because so many of my largest rocks are fractured beyond use. Yes, he took pity on me & bought a King Cab for me. Well, that was 2 Christmases ago. See we live in a smallish house on a small city lot and my garage space is occupied with my art studio -- SOOOO I had to WAIT - for him to build a rock shed for me that would fit next to our largish (8ft X 8ft) garden shed. After much debate and consideration, I settled on a 7 X 4 ft size - thinking I’d have to really be creative to fit all of my lapidary equipment and HUGE rock collection (99.5% of the rocks I found myself. Remember, I’ve collected for 20 years - mostly from Lake Superior, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota & United Kingdom) Well - I do have a wonderful husband because he gave me the large garden shed😂🤣😁 But …… We live in Minnesota and I’m unable to “lapidary” anything in the winter. Soooo - we are newly retired - both nurses - and we’ve wintered in Mississippi where I could’ve “lapidaried all winter but the RV we started out in was only 21 ft BUT we’ve replaced the 21ft C Class RV with a gently used 2016 37ft Class A Behemoth w/ 2 full slides doubling the living area. AND “under-bus” storage that extends the full RV width. Meaning the King Cab and tabletop tile saw is coming with us - wherever we go, winter & summer!!! Sooo THANK YOU AGAIN - you are my tutor.
I was going to be geode mining on the thirtieth, but it's supposed to be cold. The trip is being rescheduled. If you are interested in joining us for a fun trip, you can contact me via my about section.
I hope your wife appreciates your sense of humor. I know I do, but it's still new to me. 😉 Regardless, you're a gem! Thanks for the laughs and content.
Thanks for watching! If you are interested in my saw or rough material, check out our links here: linktr.ee/AgateDad
We ordered some from the gem shop! They all ended up PERFECT 😍

The last one was pretty incredible! I was expecting 2, but wow!
Ooooo....... a heart with 4 chambers 😮
You are a funny man. Thanks for making me smile.
Glad you got a smile from it :)
You're enthusiasm about rocks and, how happy you are about rocks, the laughter, the jokes. It's great, I love it. Thanks Dad. Truly inspiring.
"You Rock!" would make a *perfect* print for a new merch!
Good idea!
Lucky! They Are Exquisite!
❤❤❤
Make sure to check your light angles on the clear quartz pockets…got some rainbow quartz in a Trancas from there a couple weeks ago 🙂
Nice!!😊
That quad geode has what looks like mini stalactite/stalagmite cavities... so coooool!
I have a huge smile on my face every time you cut open different rocks especially geodes and agates. Watching from Pakistan.
Can't wait to see what's inside ❤❤❤❤❤❤
They’re awesome!
I wouldn't have even thought to look at the ugly rocks and now to see the beauty that's inside is incredible
LOVE your opening! The knife, the cookie and the look on your face were so funny. Then you grabbed the geode, and dashed stage left! I almost laughed out loud! I’m going to smile all day. I’m impressed with all the crystals! Thanks for sharing…❤
That’s the goal, all day smiles :)
Cut, cut, cut. What a great bunch of geods. I like the quad one the best. Soooooooo soooooo!

Beautiful rocks
Thank you for that info on the saw
Been binge watching since being sick! Please tell me you have a tourniquet, dressings, clean zip tie bag & ice! 😂
As you get more comfortable with your content, you get a lot more "dad" and I think it's very funny and nice
I'm so glad you told us that it's grinder, not a cutter. I wondered how you still had the tips of your thumbs.

Love the blue 1. I'd never trust myself using machinery like that. I wire wrap stones.
Your opening skit made me laugh. The rest of the video kept me smiling. You got some cool geodes in this batch.
I’m glad!!

I love geodes. These were awesome. Some beautiful ones and the opener was hilarious. If only it were that easy just use a knife to open them lol.
That 4 in 1 is my fav
I love how happy and enthusiastic you are. Love the videos.
I wonder if the quadrupled was 4 stones coming together or 4 cavities. Very cool.
I am so thankful for these as we in Maine are about to get clobbered with over a foot of snow…. No mining yet here😂😂😂
I get that. I'm in Montana, and it's snowing right now. Soon very soon😊
