I joined the membership. I'm little confused. What does it do? I'm not up to date with this it's my first time joining a membership on u-tube. Im Over a half century years old😅😅😅 so I'm not quit up to date. Will you please explain shortly what happens with membership? I feel silly but had to ask. Thank you, I love rocks and your video's are so much fun. I'm now subscribed to so many channel's, I think I have rock fever. 🤒.
@@karlahall9058 haha same. I'm over half a century old and I couldn't even figure out how to join?? 😅 I kept going around in circles and couldn't figure out how to complete the process?? I got frustrated and gave up. But yeah this has been the most wholesome and fun rock cutting and lapidary account I've come across. I'm cane across it a couple weeks ago and pretty sure I marathoned all his videos. 🤦♀️🤣 But yeah, I'd like to figure out how to join and what exactly it provides?
3:10 This one (the 3rd one) that you cut into (the weird one) is a fossil of a crab. Had you hit it slightly with a hammer (soft blow) on the seam line (the line in the rock where there's a lot of divits) you would op3n the rock to find a crab fossil! 0:02 In this first shot of the crab the rock on the lower left of screen. The top portions of the crabs pincher arm can be seen. That's why the saw had a 'hiccup' when it was going through the rock in a rock!
Back in 1987 I was making a pot of soup, lol sounds kind of weird but I reached into a bag of potatoes (from Idaho) and pulled out a large stone which looked just like a potato. As a conversation piece I've kept this rock all through the years and it still sets on the back of my stove. It is a geode with crystals poking out of it I'm now at the point of wanting to see what is inside. Rocks are so fascinating.
I’m 70 and absolutely love rocks! I’m enjoying this soooo much! Love your laugh and enthusiasm! Minnesota gal here who takes her granddaughter to the north shore to hunt for agates! She has my heart for rocks!
What a great video!! I had so much fun, I really wanted to see the other half of the feather rock. I'm convinced it's a feather!! Thank you, what good time. This is why I watch rock cutting. It's a wonderful time😊
These agates polished up BEAUTIFULLY! I think you're becoming the agate cutting whisperer. Lately it seems you know where to cut to split the bands. I especially like the unusual agate! Keep up the great work!🩵🩵🩵
Awesome video. Beautiful agates. I'm glad these are all working out for you. I'm picking up a hi-tech Diamond trim saw this weekend so I can try this as well.
Cut, cut, cut. What could be better than exposing inner beauty. I like the one that looked like a fossil egg. Super unusual! Keep having fun and thank you for sharing.
I always look forward to one of your videos because of your laughter and genuine excitement when you find a good one. It warms my heart and makes me smile even if I had a bad day at work or the rain is making me gloomy so keep being you and keep cutting the goodies what a treat they were! 😍
Holy buckets!!! That feather agate is amazing. Great depth in that one. Love all the shadow banding in the others too. Great job on the polish Agate Dad. Have a Good Friday 👍
1:37 is absolutely beautiful i would name it day and night the one on the left would be day (bright white) and the one on the right night (like the moon with a hint of light shining) just stunning
I don't need Turkish series, every video of yours delights me and I follow it closely. I enjoy it almost with the same enthusiasm as you! Thank you for the beautiful videos.🥰 Gretings from Austria! Slava
The cartoon eyes seem to belong to a drunk Bugs Bunny! The second last ones looked like ears. And the last one reminded me of my old geography lesson and contour lines of a mountain. Ya just never know what’s inside, eh!
The ones that have the clear/translucent husk or layer on the outside they tend to fracture off easily especially when tumbled. My best guess is that the difference in the crystal structure of that later is different and not bonded very well.
I'm VERY new to collecting and liking rocks. I have so many questions. Easiest way to polish. I've got all types of sand paper. I've got a tumbler coming. I have a dremel. i need to buy a diamond cutting blade. How did you know these were agates? What rocks to keep? I trued polishing last year for the first time. Didnt go very well. So i just put a coat of resin on some of them. How do you figure out what type of rock you picked up?
Thanks for watching! Have a great day ❤ Check out my equipment and Etsy store here linktr.ee/AgateDad

I will never judge the outside of a rock again. This was so amazing.
Omg these are so beautiful 😍 and that 3rd one looks like there's shamanic feathers preserved in an ancient agate gift box. Awesome find - love it!!!
The first "ugly" was absolutely perfect and looked like eyes with eyebrows!
