I bet his agent told him to say it. I've even had managers suggest to me, to tell workers this tactic. The amount of undeserving incompetent idiots I've seen keep there Job, get sympathy n even get extra shifts using the "mental health" excuse.
There is a case for both sides .. but I'd like to hear from wellfare officers at these clubs and what they do to help players. It seems like a very important job .. a very difficult one to do well.
