ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

It is modern country music, which makes me so happy! May more country music continue in this direction, mainstream country can do whatever it wants as long as artists like Colter Wall are still successful and making music like this.

I knew this guy when he was in our local wrestling team coaching him. Wish I could say that I saw this coming, but I had not the faintest clue he would go on and do things like this. Not a fan of country in the slightest, but damn is he talented.
His other song 'Kate McCannon' is where I discovered him. Definitely do not expect that voice or the emotion from the way the guy looks.

Colter Wall is REAL country music. His story telling is incredible. One of my personal favorites is Bald Butte. Every song he writes is like stepping into the realm of old country story telling with his own twist. He’s a highly underrated artist just like Tyler Childers. This is what country should be, not that pop crap we hear on the radio these days.

This dude sings in a way that reminds me of the longing depths of every generational drunk I knew growing up in every welfare community I ever lived in in the Deep South, and to watch Rebecca's ovaries tingle at the sound of our shared struggles gives me hope of redemption before The Lord.

I can honestly say I was one of those people who said that they hate all new country but once I heard Colter he completely changed my perspective. Incredible voice, lyrics and guitar playing, bravo couldn't have been any more impressed
His gene is Americana I belive its called but it's basicly the same as old county
I've met and talked to Colter a couple times... his fiddle player for his N. American and European tours (Anna) is a friend of mine. He is actually one of the nicest and humble people you can meet... boarder line shy... very authentic person. ~Bruce
Sleeping on the blacktop is a great tune. He did a session that's on TH-cam for NPR I believe. Give you a chance to hear his speaking voice.
Love this guy. Fellow Canadian and related to former Saskatchewan premier, Brad Wall. I saw Colter twice in Vancouver. Guy is on point he does a cover of the legendary Townes Van Zandt's Snake Mountain Blues which is great. Sleeping On The Highway is my fave Colter Wall song.

Love watching people's reactions to his voice! Her eyes got so wide, and her jaw dropped open! Love it, first song of his I heard was at the same place, but Kate McKannon, a great murder ballad. I love all of his music, his new stuff is more plainsland/cowboy and waltzes, love it all. He's a great storyteller :)

Love seeing people’s first reaction to Colter! When I need to let my mind relax I listen to Colter. It kinda takes me back to walking into grandpa’s house and hearing the old country/western playing on the record player.

This is probably one of your better reactions that I've liked, the other being Tool (sober live). I found out about Mr. Wall about a couple years ago and absolutely love putting him on for my other blue-collar / country friends and watching their face perk up / them reaching for the volume (to turn it up). The guys if fantastic and can't wait for more music from him!

This kid is AMAZING!! Been listening to him for a couple years now and he’s just getting better! You should watch the remake of “3:10 to Yuma”, GREAT western movie😘
Saw him live a few years ago with my kiddos. They (he preformed with a group at our concert) sent out security after to come get us and brought all of us backstage to meet them, talked with the kids & took photos, signed some merch and even gifted them some merch too. He & all of them that night were beyond kind and amazing! It meant the world to us, Colter Wall and The Dead South *they're from the same area in Canada, who we also met & they even called our kids to lift their spirits when theyve been in the hospital due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome* are both amazing musicians and amazing people!

This was recorded while he was still finding his voice. He's figured it out on his second album. I second the suggestion that you react to "Cowpoke", it shows off his mastery over his voice and range and is a beautiful piece of work. Also, you'll get to hear him speak 😜
