Country comes from the blues so it’s inherently soulful! Both from the south, same chord progressions, writing styles, etc. it’s where the genre “BLUEgrass” comes from.
Actually Blues music and bluegrass come from completely different origins. As you stated country and blues became entwined in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Chris Stapleton is what I believe you Brits would call a “proper musician.” The man is a genius. David Allan Coe first recorded that song almost 40 years ago and George Jones took it to #2 on the charts a few years later, and neither version sounded anything like what you just heard. On another first reaction to music artist. the man made a comment , one you may not of heard of, "This man can "SANG", which is a damn high compliment. A power in a man's voice that crosses racial and sexual boundary. it's drawing in our souls, lovers who seek the joy of a oneness. Men who wish they could express it to their woman and the woman that wish to hear it from their man. The instruments are as if they were drawn in from outside by the vocal and follow its lead. You mentioned you would like to be there listening live, and as one who has guess what my surprized was? His voice is real. mot as some peoples that need digitizing in order to sell themselves. In some of his live performances the audience is silent during, and at others silent until suddenly his power draws spontaneous impulsive expressions of sound and body reactions from them. Afterwards you feel you have been a part of something, something good, a something you cannot put your finger upon in a technical way, and you do not want to attempt, for fear of losing that something. Why try to compare, he is uniqe, just let it flow on its own.

And this isn't even his song, but oh boy he made it his own
David Allen Coe
He was even in a group called steel drivers where I first heard of him
Love this reaction! I Was Wrong is my favorite but Tennessee Whiskey never gets old :)
Chris Stapleton snaps his fingers ...and gets Thanos pregnant ...
Kay Mitchell - a really bad villain in marvel comics and now Hollywood
Thats fukin funny mate HAHAHA
BAAAAAHAHAHA
Noice
Matangaro Matangaro 🤣😂🤣😂
I've been mulling this over. Just, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Between your treatment and his performance I'm just out of this world with enjoyment. Love, Love your Channel. Please Keep it going you are on to something that we need, Authenticity and Honesty. What you do takes a lot of dedication. Pls carry on. Thx.
You HAVE GOT to watch Chris Stapleton’s performance of “Sometimes I Cry” in the Bing Lounge. It’s acoustic, just Chris and his guitar, and really showcases his voice sooo well!!!
I really want to see her react to that.....I keep leaving that same comment on all her vids lol
Chris's voice is soulful and he saved Country. His wife has an amazing voice as well. I request broken halos from Chris.
George strait just came out with a new album if you need more great music
Do u have more reactions to chris Stapleton ???
Cody Jinks is saving country music!
And. That’s Kentucky! You’re welcome!
This is one of my favorite songs ever and, the only thing better than it on it's own, is watching Rebecca trying (and failing) to maintain composure through it. Thank you for putting this out there!
You think this was good... Listen to his song " I Was Wrong"!!!! You mind will EXPLODE!!!! 🤯🤯🤯💥💥
Amazing song!!!
You have an extremely BEAUTIFUL smile!! Please react to Chris Stapleton performing "Sometimes I Cry"
I love the interplay between Chris and his wife. They really love each other. There is no one else in the room.
Is that what he told you???
Bit late to the party here, but I heard this for the first time today on a film we were watching and that bit at 2.37 on this video...I just thought holy mother of God!! So glad you've critiqued it Rebecca, coz I love watching your reaction. 😂
The black guy with all the ink right all over his chest and arms I just came from that channel you was great wasn't he actually subscribe to his 10 I'm subscribing to this one too and then before that guy I came from a girl of a black girl she's probably like 20 years old and she was just fantastic what I liked about her reaction she let the whole song play and then at the end she reacted to it I mean she had facial expressions and stuff I was just really into it but you got to hear the whole song and then the reaction after it and I kind of prefer that
P.s. I really loved the rest of your comment by the way being part of something real and you can't put your finger on it I read it like three times that was eloquent and absolutely spot-on
@@jefferywilliams9592, yes, you're referring to NoLifeShaq. :-)
@@detectivekornfed what is that?
@@detectivekornfed oh never mind. Thought this was a different thread lol
That word you were searching for is lust. 😂 He is incredible. So natural and raw, yet skilled.
that there is what we call good ole southern twang .. mad talent rite there
This has been my favorite reaction video I have ever watched. Your reaction is as great as the song!
The joy you got hit with from his voice could light the world! Great reaction! God bless.
I felt the very same emotions in me, and I am concerned, and comforted, and strangely at peace with it all...yes...yes I am.
His voice literally makes my goosebumps have goosebumps! 🤤
Hello there! As being raised in middle Kentucky, my dad used to do some work on his property and I was told he is just the sweetest man, and believe it or not, he didn't think he could sing! His wife was just the perfect person for him and helped him get over some of his social anxieties as well as able to get him out in the world to share his talents! Years later he is doing amazing, and who do you think he has as his backup singer? His wife! Just someone out there for everyone! 😘
