The fact that he is ready to move foward and make her an honest women 4. I love the way the intensity of his guitars playing swells in intensity in the pause between “founder her with some other lover” and “so I put three rounds into Kate McCannon”. To me, it’s like feeling the rage build inside him as he sees it. Also, there’s a point in the outro when he hits the kick drum three times. To me, that felt like a subtle nod to the shots. It was pure joy watching you listen to this. Because you went through all the same emotions, and reactions that I did. The first time I heard Colter Wall, TH-cam was just auto-playing in the background. I was in the middle of working on something else, and this song started playing. About a minute into it, I suddenly started listening I mean really listening to it. I was shocked, that the voice was coming from this young man who was 19 at the time. I have listened to everything he has ever recorded at this point and I am now convinced he is the next Johnny Cash.

Really enjoy your breakdowns Michael! What I love most is you getting excited about what could be a 4 second part of a song. You FEEL it. Thats what music does to me as well. Two songs that make me FEEL are "Whipping Post" live at the Fillmore by The Allman Bros Band and "25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago with Terry Kath on guitar. I would love to see you take on either of these two songs. Terry Kath was a monster on guitar. Keep up the great work and thanks for the thanks again for your videos.
