@@grasped2 Dan had done some work for Spitfire in the past but has launched out to do more on his own. He is tremendously talented, and I wish him all of the very best, looking forward to seeing more of what he has been up to lately.
@@PraiseTracks Here, Here Simeon...Like you, he is one of my fav talents on music making chat on youtube and comes across as a thoroughly nice bloke to boot. That's most likely how he got to work with Spitfire and then Take That's Gary Barlow via an intro from the inimitable Christian Henson co founder of Spitfire.
Hearing you talking about hertz, nasal frequencies, low ends, mono makers... really shows me how little I currently know about producing and all in between... It's nearly zilch really! 😄 Thank you for providing these great libraries for free 🙏
You even got MULTIPLE ARTICULATIONS! Wasn't expecting that. I like the direction you are going. Also considering buying one of your libraries if I need it.
Does this mean we can expect a full Solo Strings library equivalent to the Brass in the future? If so, please, oh please, include articulations where the strings are incredibly tight and short. I often write fast and agile pieces, and while legato might struggle to keep up, having short notes that can convincingly mimic rapid movements would be a lifesaver!
Yes, we're dropping it next Monday, 25th November. It's very much focused on a certain style of composing, so no extremely short samples in this project, but like the Brass Brand Soloists the Legato is very fluid.
Yes and please go crazy with weird articulations that can be useful for horror games/films if you do a choir library!! Side note: I think they’d knock a full horror library out of the park with their attention to detail and it’s hard to find good, performable vocal sounds for horror.
I already had all the Blueprint libraries but I'm so impressed with these and your paid libraries (I want solo brass, but I'll wait for next year's Black Friday sale ... a proper british brass band has such a beautiful sound and your solo library is totally yummy ... but I don't have a project to use it on until next year's folk album)
Wonderful library Dan! Good to see you back on YT. I am now installing this library in Kontakt 7. Just one question: making the frequencies under 100 Hz mono should help to getting less rumble in the low end? Just a beginner so I am just asking this question
Very appealing sound - will download. I'm already a solid Fracture Sounds fan and own most of your libraries. I have this question: when you showed glimpses of the Piano Roll Editor, I saw that the string chords were perfectly aligned, vertically and horizontally. Is this a setting in String? Or is it a Logic setting? In the past, I've spent hours manually correcting such chords in the past.
Beautiful sounds as usual wonderintg will there be bass in the full product... Often products miss out bass which means you have to use somehing else which will have a different tone.
those big c g e~above and g eb bb left hand chord inversions are an excellent way to make clear yet strong chords which stand out and torture my performers~ are you a pianistic composer and are your acoustic comps online? love to hear it! (also yes ppl noticed how the petrichor concepts are now fractures modus default . make sure your contributions are recognized)
Same question by me. I reached the point were I grabbed 4 faders and an Arduino Pro Micro and hacked in some code from the NerdMusician here on YT. After the day I bought a 3D printer for the case, I thought it would have been better just to buy a neat controller. I mean my DIY thing is working but... add a display, add a sustain button... add RGB lighting. So what is it?
Dynamic Response controls how much the volume of the instrument is affected by Dynamics Modulation. In other words, at 100% if you pull the Mod Wheel on your keyboard (MIDI CC1 or the Dynamics Knob) down to zero, there will be silence. It's a great way to fine tune how you want the dynamics to respond.
We tend to avoid doing Atmosphere Layers for libraries with short articulations like this one, but we can certainly look at doing that for a future Blueprint with solo strings.
Join us here on Monday 25th November, 6pm GMT (Premiere to be posted soon) for the launch of our next product and Black Friday Sale.
Beautiful! Great to see Dan back on the channel.

Your company always amazes me with the free instruments you make available to us composers. Beautifully sounding patches. Thank you fractured sounds.
Amazing to this dabbler that these libraries are free. Dan is an excellent host with a very calming and attention-keeping voice. Subscribed.
Thanks for the subscribe!
That opening chord so reminded me of On the Nature of Daylight. Beautiful library!
What a compliment, thanks so much!
It's quite similar to the chords in Max Richter's Late and Soon, actually, another of his beautiful pieces.

"..because actually the silece is really beautiful as well.." YES, with no doubt the silence is the best sound I have ever heard :-)
It is round robin’d too 🤫😉

Beautiful example, Dan! Thanks for this inspiring strings library!
The library sounds nice and details of your track processing are very helpful. Thanks.
You absolutely nailed the style with that piece. Nice trick with that sine wave bass!
Dan always nails it!

That’s a very interesting string sound - in a good way - would fit perfectly in a Peter Greenaway type film.
Very good vidéo for very good free VST ! Merci beaucoup ! 🎼🎵🎶🎻👏👍
I love it. Great work all 🙏❤️🙏
Thanks as always. Good music!
Thats incredible. Thank you so much!
Nice sound AND nice composition.

Unbeleivable to have somethign that sounds this good for free though isn't it. Thank you!

Outstanding job once again Fracture Sounds. I just have one quick question though.... Black Friday sale when???
25th of November
To play chords on any strings is a bad idea, each note should be played separately to make the whole ensemble sound realistic
This is way more accurate of that Solo Strings. ^^
What is the black midi controller used at 1:10? Looks like it probably has better precision than my korg nanokontrol.

Looks like one of the Sparrow models from a company called MIDIMaker.
Oops, missed the link :).
Blueprint is great. Question. Wich midi (faders) controler do you use?

What is the black box with sliders you use in front of your controller keyboard?

Missing atmosphere. Would have been great if there was 3 knobs to adjust volume of each solo instrument separately
