Some really nice actions. If you're into panfish, Tony Roach has a good break down on the subtle differences in rod blanks in the St. Croix Lineup --> th-cam.com/video/rBQ5nsA--W4/w-d-xo.html
I own close to 2 dozen of them now in models from ice rods to heavy action flipping sticks and I can’t say enough good things about their performance and St. Croix’s customer service. I have a few that are over 20 years old now and they’re still in my rod rotation.
Pike tastes very good! Try it! The reason there is Pike everywhere is that people planted them out in every lake and river back in the day, to eat them!
There's a faster way maybe he gets more meat but anything about 25 in and up I do the backstrap first the two side fillets and the two tail flies and it produces a lot of meat and doesn't take very long.
@@Wired2Fish Any pike, any time is a fine eating fish. So much ignorant rule bound lore in the fishing world when it comes to what's good eating and what's not. On little ones, just take that top loin off as a fish stick like piece, then proceed onward and you come out with a decent amount of boneless meat and it it's fast.
That's for sure one of the best y bone removals I seen ...awesome job. Tight lines boyz🤙🏼
Good stuff Casey! 👊🏼💯
5:05 ah crap! Almost forgot to mention the sponsor! Nailed it!
There was no sponsor for this video. Dude just likes the Rapala steel.
I cringed as you pulled that knife towards your other hand@
Anyone out there know anything about St Croix rods? I’ve been hearing mixed results but I think I found one for a good price

👍
Wait don’t pike taste bad? Never had one.
They are great eating! Give it a try if you have the chance!
Eh... deep fried is ok. They aren't worth the PITA for the relatively small amount of meat by weight in my opinion. They don't eat like Walleye LOL.

Woooo
Honestly doesn't look like it's worth it, eating a keeper pike.
