First off, great video and thanks for putting it out there for everyone. As for over the bars, ya been at trials now for about 10 years and been over them more than a few times. Most have been on obstacles that came loose a but a few from pour conditions or lack of focus or choice on my part. Luckily the worst injury from that has been a bruised rib. Good luck and keep at it!
Not on trials bike, but first time on dual sport event, hit a ditch wrong. Remember flying over the bars and thinking "that's a different view of the headlight".
You've inspired me dude. I am going to set up something like this in my yard. Sometimes the simple, obvious ideas are anything but! I've got a smaller yard, but I do have an Electric Motion Escape R. No noise! No complaining neighbors!
Hey thanks. I think that's what this channel will aim to do. Target newer trials riders. I named the channel as such. Just hope I can add value as I make the journey in my 1st year. Just released another version of this zap with more key learnings today. 👍
I agree. It's somehow inspiring to see somone else struggle. Watching video of the pros makes newbies like me think I shoukd be learning faster. It looks so easy! (until you try it, or watch someone else try)
Thanks for the advice. For sure! I'm always saying rev it up as I head into it, but then can't seem to really open up the throttle. Probably in my head, just timid. I'll keep at it. 👊
Definitely didn't have the clutch pulled and it stalled. Engine just stopped. Not sure if the brake was on. Lol. Could have been. So much to do in that short duration of time. It's coming along better now. Thanks for commenting
I thought you made a comment about cutting off the corner of that board which is a good safety idea. But I couldn't find the comment after I saw the notification 🤔
One of the users on ADVRider trials forum just posted your video in the trials videos thread at advrider.com/f/threads/trials-videos-here-pro-and-home-movies.487002/page-113#post-42692306. I've subscribed and can't wait to see your progression so I can learn from it! (I'm also about 1 year into this sport)
@@TrialsProgression Yes, I rode my first event a few weekends ago in Massachusetts, and my second one (in the rain, so much mud!) this past weekend. It is so much more fun riding a trials event than practicing in the back yard or even at my club.
Y'all been over the front end yet? How did it turn out? Let me know on the comments below

Hey thanks man..... I appreciate the comments. These were my 1st 2 times going over, or kinda over. My abs are getting beat up like a boxer. 😂

@@teamground0229 you saw and thought all that while in the air? Wow. Didn't get hurt did ya?
@@TrialsProgression it was sort of like your life flashing before your eyes. Did not get hurt. I suck less now, not sure I'd say I'm good.

That's awesome!!!! Besides when it's in your yard, so can go out for a quick 15 min session. Best de-stress I've found
Great vid. The out-takes are good for learning too ☺
Yes! I keep hearing that from viewers 😆 keep the fails. 👍
Great honest video mate, makes me want to get out and practice, thanks for the inspiration 👍
Hey thanks. Got to have goals and push it a little sometimes. At least in my yard it's a controlled space. Thanks for commenting
Being a novice, your practice is very helpful to understand.

A couple of those were perfect
Hey thanks Brad! I appreciate your comments 🙂
Good work mate
Thank you 😊
maybe try more revs and really slam the back wheel in to the face of the log after the 2nd zap

Look like you had the from brake squeezed on landing.

I did the same thing but the handle bars didn’t get stuck in the ground cause my stupid foot was there!
Awe man. Did you get hurt then?

@@TrialsProgression I did. There are 11 comments, but the comment section says 17. Odd....I had a similar setup and took the corner in the ribs.
That's awful!!!😬😥 Dang. Good looking out. I'll trim it down for sure. Not sure about your comments disappearing

Hey thanks so much! I appreciate the support. There's so much to learn. Have you started riding events yet? My 1stbone is this weekend

@@fprintf that's what I'm looking forward to as well. Only so much practice I can do alone. I look forward to other riders and a new challenge.
