    This 18 minute yoga nidra has no background sound or music and aids in deep relaxation through the effortless guided meditation called yogic sleep. It’s a meditation technique called yoga nidra which you lay down and listen, an effortless deep relaxation arises from the guidance. This short and effective 20 min yoga nidra is lead by Ally Boothroyd of Sarovara Yoga. This meditation is designed to untangle and reduce stress and anxiety and calm the nerves over time.

    I have not been feeling 100% for some time now and as a result have had very fitful sleep where I only sleep one or two hours at the most. Listening to some of your videos just gave me some of the most restful sleep I’ve had in ages...which I feel can be healing. I also woke up with creative ideas which as an artist I was very concerned about because I thought I was losing that, and that’s my life. Thanks for sharing your gift with the world.

    Beautiful!!! Did at 330 in afternoon and helped me reset for the day. My morning went not the way I was planning for and was getting more stressed and anxious as the morning went on. After watching this I was able to reset and start my day over!! Namaste!! ❤🙏❤

    This is such a wonderful yoga Nidra for healing! I am healing from a surgery and this practice was so lovely! I would love to see more like this with the face tapping and hand rubbing etc!

    I love love love your recordings. I almost always choose one of yours on the daily over all that are out there.
    I have some constructive feedback though:
    the sound of the recording stopping and restarting was very distracting for me through my NC headset. I tried to welcome it and embrace it, but in the end, just didn’t get as much out of it as usual.
    Thank you so much for all of the goodness you share with the world. Truly a gift.

    I truly love these! My only wish is that the CTA/promo wouldn’t be spoken at the end because it takes me out of that beautiful meditative space. It’s nicer when the promo just flashes on the screen at the beginning or end.

    There suddenly was grief from my past in the middle of the session. Is there something in the brain that is triggered and can cause this sort of sadness or is it just bad luck today for me?

      Hello fellow human being, your experience is very normal and part of a journey with grief. We can spend lots of time being busy busy and doing things which distracts from the experiences of grief. The feelings of grief need to be acknowledged and felt as part of the journey with loss. Through taking time for nidra you were still, quiet, held/supported enough and that helped cue your body/mind/soul that it was safe enough to begin to digest and integrate some of that early experience of grief. I want to congratulate you for being with that difficult experience and encourage you to to see how your relationship with that grief is changed now it has known some tending in the nest of yoga nidra. Nidra is a deep healing practice, content that needs healing can come up for us to be with in a sesh. Be super gentle with your dear self when this arises. You got this and ask for support if you need it, we all need that too. Namaste

    Does anyone else get intense blue behind eyelids at the end when putting palms over eyes? My kids and I get this but only after this specific practice. Ally, do you ever get this?
