I Actually Can’t Relax: Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy

Has anything like this ever happened to you or do you have any kind of situations that trigger you like this does me? If so and you feel like sharing leave them down below I would like to know and maybe we can bond over like-minded stories or situation. I am not mad because of the situation I just find it a little bit funny and a little bit aggravating at the same time but nowhere near the point of actually being maddening if that makes sense. Yaeh, I understand what you're saying. I hate it when people tell me to do something or try something as if I've never tried it in my X many years of living with cerebral palsy. They seem to think that I never in my life thought of it. That I never accepted "having cp" in my entire life before they knew me. Some even never gave thought that I had a life before they knew me as if I magically popped into existence just for them. When a person tells me that they think I haven't accepted having cp, I know they are talking about themselves. I noticed that people project their feeling on us, I seem many videos from other people with cp describing the same thing. I know that they have accepted living with cp. But they say that others, usually able-bodied people, tell them that they think the person with cp has not accepted it but they really have. I see that when people say this, they can mean different things that can be broken down into two extremes; 1, they want to know more about the condition or 2, they are afraid and secretly wish that we don't exist (not that we exist but don't have it). I know it's human nature as I've lived with cp for almost 50 years and I've seen all the reactions from tons of people and they all seem fit into categories.

I've always struggled to relax (mentally that is), but after having some issues with blood pressure I have tried mediation. I would like to say it really helps and I saw an immediate change but that would be untrue, however, having been consistent with it for several years I think it does help a bit but it is certainly no magic bullet.

God bless you sweetheart 😘 ❤ 💕 I no what you go through I also have cerebral palsy spastic Diplegia and I wade 1ib 5oz with I was born and 1 of my lungs collapsed and my intestines was leaking inside my tummy but the doctors fixed the problem and my brain 🧠 bleeded when I was born and the doctors said that I wouldn't make it but I am a miracle baby boy and I have been doing good ❤ 😀
