- Angela is diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She doesn’t want pity or attention just because she is in a wheelchair.
Instead, Angela hopes others take the time to form a true friendship.

Yes - I am a person with autism /Learning disabilities and other challenges and I have three degrees including a master's degree in Special education ( and eventually want to return for a Ph.d in Disability policy ) - and speaking of school will be starting swimming at Mesa again in order to become a certified lifeguard and swimming instructor at the aqua pros swim school to teach individuals with autism how to swim - always be proud of your accomplishments
And I don’t even have one degree. That’s a lot of work.

Girl you got two degrees that's more degrees than I got that's for damn sure but I understand he wanted to be treated normal sometimes people can't help but look because they're curious not because that they're making fun of you because they don't understand and they would like to understand perhaps your story but people need to understand that it's easier just to say hey what happened to you then it is to just stare and walk by people get the wrong impression I know sometimes when people look at me I don't know you know maybe it's low self-esteem or or whatever but you know I I understand you maybe not the same way but thank you for sharing your story I let me know a little bit more about you

I have a friend who works for an attorney who has cerebral palsy. There is truly no time for pity coz there are a lot of work to do in his office.

Angela, I only have some college credits so I agree with Kelsey that it's not bragging to say you are college-educated especially in a country that seems to place a higher value on degrees than high school diplomas or trade school degrees.

Hi Angela! You are so beautiful and perfect! I used to know a girl and a boy with CP when I was a teen and they overwhelmed me with their brightness and happiness. This is more than 30 years ago and still people with disabilities have to fight for recognition. Keep on going and believe in yourself..... I'll do!! You'r beautiful ❤🥰 and strong 💪
Is there a cure hopefully for this? It seems there is.
No there’s no cure or prevention right now but there’s a lot of research happening so maybe one day there will be who knows.
She sounds like she's constantly yawning.
Speech is one of the many things that CP affects and some of us can’t speak at all it just depends on how severe the brain injury is. Everyone is different and in some cases it makes it a little harder to be understood or to speak incertain manner but that’s ok this is how she sounds/communicates.
