The enthusiasts built it not Volvo did you not listen to the presentation? Remember the old saying "there's a sucker born every minute". You sometimes have to listen to what is said!
for that matter, there were also late 60s Cadillac Coupe Devilles customized into pickups. Exactly like these Volvos. Definitely not factory.@@PaulHerman-v2m
5:13 "It was powered by a potent, in-line six cylinder engine..." [ zooms in on V-8 engine ] Why do you keep cutting in vehicles *which aren't the ones you're talking about?*
There’s 1 of the Dakota convertibles in the small town of Sanford in Manitoba Canada. When I poured a new driveway for the gentleman I was extremely shocked to notice his convertible Dakota in his garage.
The Chevy Big Ten was also sold as the "Heavy Half" some years. It too got around the catalytic converter requirements. Uh and that engine you show for the Macho Power Wagon? That's a V8, not an inline 6.
I had a Dakota conv i loved it. Shit transmission unfortunately bad top clips too but id get another if i had the money and correct the issues like drivetrain.
I see lots people like you are commenting it but. Every detail in this video was taken from internet. And for your kind information. There's still no ai that can fully generate a video. @@top.intel0I can. Frequently, in fact I believe more often than not, the pictures do not match the audio descriptions. You say these are special models but frequently show models other than what you sre talking about. Also Volvo never built a pickup unless, it was a 303/Laplander, which was a military vehicle that was only sold to the public after being de-commissioned. Granted the video does say the Volvos were enthusist built but the title leads one to think you are talking about factory special editions, which is what most of the video is.
I agree that the footage or image mixup was editors fault. I don't do my own edits. And i can't even find a good editor who understands pickup trucks properly. And if you say about "AI Voice". Voice over artists are way costlier than you think. And English is not my first language. So thats why i have to use that (besides everybody nowdays uses some or more ai tools on videos) And about the volvo 240. I said "special" and special doesn’t always mean that it has to be factory production
not auto-generated, but sloppy matching of the units to what he's talking about. Especially the Amarillo GT. The gray truck isn't one, and nearly all the trucks have some customizing that didn't come from the factory. Sloppy video all around.
I didn't know that Volvo built a pickup truck?!

I believe the Macho had either a 318 or 360, certainly not an inline six. The TV show Simon and Simon featured one.
I took a ride in the Dakota pickup years ago… it was in Kodiak Alaska!
I had a toy of the Dude . Never knew it was real till now .
Now you do and it was real.
Is it me, or all those retro rims just great

My Brother bought what could be the Only 1977 Ford F250 4x4 with a Factory T Top. It was a Prototype.
I finally feel like I'm in the 1%

Nope, never knew that the Volvo had a pickup either, kind of a different looking Critter wasn't it LOL
Auto-generated topic content blah blah blah
Could you elaborate what do you mean by auto genrated content?
