3 Most INSANE European Cars You Won't Believe Exist!
3 Most INSANE European Cars You Won't Believe Exist!
We'll discover three of the most incredible European supercars that most people have never heard of! In this video, we're taking you on an exciting journey to explore some truly mind-blowing vehicles that prove Europe's automotive innovation goes way beyond the usual Ferrari and Lamborghini favorites.
First up, we've got the amazing Tushek TS 900 H Apex from Slovenia, created by former racing champion Aljosa Tushek. This hybrid beast packs a whopping 1,340 horsepower and can zoom from 0 to 60 in just 2.5 seconds! What makes it super special is its unique electric drive system that connects motors directly to the wheels - something you won't find in other hypercars. With only 36 cars being made and a price tag of $1.6 million, this Slovenian wonder is seriously exclusive.
Next, we'll check out the mysterious Genty Akylone from France. Would you believe this incredible machine was created by someone who used to be an accountant? Frédéric Genty turned his dream into reality with this powerhouse that comes in three versions, including an all-electric model that produces an unbelievable 1,430 horsepower! Only 25 of these beauties will ever be made, making them even rarer than the Tushek. The Akylone has become so famous that it's even featured in popular racing video games like Asphalt 8 and 9!
Last but definitely not least, we're showing you the absolutely stunning Eadon Green Black Cuillin from Britain. This car looks like it drove straight out of the 1930s, but don't let its classic looks fool you - it's packed with modern technology! Created by Felix Eaton after he watched an old TV show, this gorgeous grand tourer sports a massive V12 engine with 445 horsepower. While it might not be as fast as the other two cars, its amazing design combines vintage style with modern materials like carbon fiber in a way that'll make your jaw drop.

I think the lancia beta coupe to some styling tips from this car..absolutely stunning..
I liked the first gen Bravada. Trooper II /Acura SLX. Neat love how these types of vids all use clips from the Awesome Motorweek!
In England we could drive three wheeler's on a motorbike licence, maybe without reverse,49cc one's could be driven on moped licence at sixteen,a year earlier
That peel DKW engine looked remarkably like a Honda electric start
the brilliant engineering of the 6 cylinder engine that you speak of, was not Bristo's but in fact the fantastic BMW 328 engine that was part of the other brilliant engineered cars that were given to Bristol after WW2 as part of the war reparation deal.
Nissan Prairie was far from all cars i've ever owned. Nearly perfect roommanagement and the missing of the B-pillar. the reason to change to another car was it's astonishing ability to consume masses of gas and it's weak torsionrod rear suspension.
How does the GLHS compare to the Lotus Sumbeam? Same basic vehicle but tuned on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Always liked the Lotus, the GLHS is new to me being a Brit
I’ll forever be a wagon man.
Impressive, I never knew Isuzu made such a stunning coupe in the 1970s, I like it.
that hillman imp 875cc coventry climax engine looks very much like a V8 to me. once again a video made by fools and losers
It would have been nice to see more of the 2 door Rover P5 coupe rather than the 4 door saloon.
Our 65 Catalina Ventura was a great car
Hmmmmm a Corvette engine interesting. I like the black with a Red interior .
But its not a very attractive car. Kind of stodgy.
Isuzu 117 round headlights is it!
The Isuzu is a big dollar car now a Japanese Alfa
😊
This is bullshit about the rover v8. it did not have coil springs at the front at all , it had torsion bar suspension up front and leaf springs at the back. and nothing at all like what is being shown for suspension at either end.
I had a for Taurus for a company car. Great gas mileage, and great power. Chevy Corsica was crap.
You seem to be forgetting Subaru. The Subaru GL Wagon was on sale in the US before 1980, thus predating the AMC Eagle. I still miss my 1981 GL Wagon with its 1.8 liter engine, four speed manual, and truly "shift on the fly" 4WD system!
Who exactly were "2 + 2" grand tourers with tiny rear seats meant for? The format seems designed for a rich man with a young wife.
They only had one relatively small Keihin carb off a Japanese motorcycle.

AMC Eagle and Spirit were awesome vehicles. When you say revolutionary , that is putting it lightly. When I look at the photos, it appears to have a conglomeration of Ford and Chevrolet parts..best of both worlds.
The Isuzu 117 looks just like an early Mazda 616.😮
The maker of this video needs to check things more thoroughly - the car seen driving at around the 40 second mark is actually a later Aston Martin not a Gordon Keeble. Look at the very front of it, the grill and headlights are not the same. The air-scoop on the bonnet is different and the whole shape of the car is squarer than the Gordon Keeble which was more the fashion in the mid to late 1970's not the sixties !
nothing rare about the rover . any vintage car club with 20+ members will have at least 1.
First 4wd Grand Tourer - 1966 Jensen Interceptor FF1 predated the Audi Quatro by 14 years. Sorry 1 was trying to write this in my previous comment, but it published mid edit. Again as stated, these facts take nothing away from how excellent the Eagle was, its just IMHO ingenious to state it was the first SUV.
First 4wd SUV - 1963 Jeep Wagoneer, a wagon with car like comforts. First Luxury SUV - 1970 Land Rover Range Rover, luxury ride (4 coils) and appointments. First Crossover - 1972 Subaru AWD wagon, take a stationwagon, raise it and add on the fly 4wd. First 4wd GT - Jeep in 1946, International Harvester and Land Rover in 1956 sold 4wd station wagons but not with car like levels of handling and comfort. The Eagle was brilliant, timely and well executed but it cant claim to be the first SUV.
I didn't even make it a third of the way through this video and I heard enough okay but catalytic converter thing didn't become standard on any off-road vehicle until 1987 that's all there is to it in Chevrolet's chain already rusted I'm not kidding you I had one for 2 years it was brand new and it had rust above the wheel wells
4:56 AMC did not "merge" with Chrysler. Chrysler bought them outright and AMC ceased to exist. Chrysler created the Eagle marque to sell the few AMC vehicles that they were contractually obligated to keep making for Mitsubishi and Renault.
That Buick wildcat engine is a top choice for rebuilt model t fords! It’s a wonderful engine in everything it was put in but it was an oil leaker with turbo or superchargers every generation had poor top and bottom ends unless you paid to build them up. The smaller displacement versions especially the 3.4 were the longest lasting versions. But still it was fun to drive GTP’s and SSEi’s torque was great for putting you into your seat! lol the 4.9 turbo v8 sucked , it was never reliable but at least it was easy to rebuild. The trans am was slower than a grand am lol always preferred the lt1’s to this day that’s my fave 350 ever! There’s more aftermarket parts and upgrades for them than all other engines combined! 330 hp with a 5 speed was so fun except when the transmission acted up you could break your wrist when resting your hand on it going in reverse (yes most people kept their hands on the shifter and it would pop out of gear into neutral hard enough to break a wrist) with 4:10 top speed was only 100mph but way more fun and faster acceleration! Don’t need to go over 100mph anyway unless you’re doing circuit racing. Easy to switch transmissions and components anyway so in a backyard it was easy to work on.
An AWD manual Nissan Axxess is on my Radwood dream team list.
Excellent introduction to English design and engineering brilliance.
To think the good people of Rover went to the trouble of putting a chrome acute 'accent' over the 'e' in coupe and still the commentator calls it a coup (as in chicken coup). Oh well, never mind. Otherwise, apart from the usual wrong photos this is a well researched video. The ioe engine came first in the Rover P3 (my first car) and ended in the P5 (which I also had the Mk 3 version.) Rolls Royce also used the IOE engine. One wet night (about 1970) I was following lights down Birkdale road in Auckland NZ. At the point it changes to Beach Haven Road at a tight left turn, the red tail lights suddenly became headlights and then red again before it stopped. When I came to the car it was a Gordon Keeble with an ashen faced new owner swearing he would in the future be very careful with his right foot in the wet! Good looking car. Still the Aston Martin of the same design objective was at least as good looking, had a British higher revving quad cam V8 and from my experience of 5 years ownership it was stable enough in the wet.
great well informed video,thank you
Is this a RoboVoice?
ASC means American Sunroof Company
Owned A Turbo TA new in 1980. What fail to tell you is they had a very bad problem with the pickup coil. They would burn out about every 3weeks. It got to where they could make them fast enough to replace them timely. In a one year time frame my TA sat in my driveway waiting on parts for 8 months that year. Which is why I got rid of it.
what is a coope
Your missing one... Plymouth made trucks from 1937 to 1941. I have a 1937 plymouth PT50 Total trucks made around 2700. ...nice truck
Wrong photo for the Lotus Elan! I really didn't expect any accuracy from this outfit...
We had a family acquaintance from Germany who lived in the U.K. and who had a P5B Rover. I first met him at a Christmas party and I asked in conversation if he was driving as I had noticed he had refused to have anything alcoholic to drink. He said he had arrived by car, “the white one across the road”. “Oh the P5B?” I asked and immediately he knew that we had a mutual interest in cars. He said he and his wife loved its unique character. They took it to Germany on holiday and had a terrible accident in it on the autobahn. The structure of the car was so well engineered that they survived the accident with his wife untouched and him suffering only minor injuries. After he had recovered he duly bought a second P5B that became his daily driver for many years until he eventually died of natural causes. I used to like the way it pulled away from the curb with its V8 burble like a power boat pulling away from landing stage.
The 5 most outrageous turbocharged cars of the 1980's. You covered none of them. 1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 These two cars utterly dominated the world stage for racing in Production racing, Group A, Touring Cars, Endurance racing. Really, nothing could touch the Cossie until the GT-R came along. Both were examples of when you let the engineers build as close to the rules as possible, and indeed in some cases twist the rules in ways that took the lawyers to decide who won the race. 1980 Audi Quattro Turbo. The original 2.1 litre changed everything. It set the standard of All Wheel Drive Turbo Charging that dominates rallying today. It was simply completely new thinking. The ski jump ad was simply magnificent. 1980 Renault 5 Turbo. This car was a tiny pocket dynamo with extreme speed and the cheaper Turbo2 delivered what was truly a WRC rally car to the masses. Sure we could have a spot here for the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, that famous WRC car of the late 80's and early 90's, too. But my 5th one is possibly even more outrageous. Think of the Peugeot 205 GTi. It brought the HOT hatch to the masses. But, there was a special version of it called the Peugeot 205 T16, also known as Peugeot Talbot Sport. Simca (Talbot) basically hand built these. There were just 200 of these made to meet homologation requirements, but they were designed and built for racing. They literally took factory car shells off the production line and chopped them in half, stitching together new body panels. The front chassis was chopped away to replace it with tube frame sections. These were a full on works WRC rally car, with a tube chassis, but street legal, with a 450hp engine in what was a 3/4 length shortened inner city hatch. Quite possibly one of the most insane production cars ever made. At least as insane as the Shelby Cobra.
Describing the Bristol 6 cylinder engine as "a masterpiece of British engineering" shows that you missed to read that this 6 cylinder engine was designed by BMW and used in their pre-war sports car the 328. Simply explained on Wikipedia: "War Reparations Board, H. J. Aldington travelled to Munich and purchased the rights to manufacture three BMW models and the 328 engine." Yes it's this same engine used by AC Ace used by a certain Carroll Shelby to create the AC Cobra by replacing the Bristol engine with a Ford V8.
The early Bristol cars (models 401 and 402) even kept the BMW radiator grille. They tried to improve the specification, as if money was no object for their customers. Unfortunately for them, there weren't quite as many rich enthusiasts around in the UK as they needed.
The styling of the AC Greyhound seems a combination of Aston Martin and Ferrari, which gives a wonderful result.
I agree. I immediately saw a resemblance to the Aston Martin DB4
The sheer foolhardiness of racing cars, without even a roll bar for the driver's head, still astounds me. They weren't stupid, so what made them tolerate the risks?
Ive seen A. C. Greyhound before I believe but they are pretty rare in my mind.
I had never heard of grayhound but bit before my time lal but I would like a go in one but doubt many left now lal💜🙏💜🧙♂️
The Arnolt-Bristol is a long time favorite of mine. 😎👍
