That coffee pot is amazing. I know first-hand! Our house burned down and we upgraded to this coffee machine. Still working on getting the house together but at least we have a perfect coffee machine now.
There's a lot more skill in Monopoly if one plays by the actual rules instead of the way in which everyone plays it. :-) It also is a much faster game. -Daven

Six years ago my son, my mother, and I moved from Wisconsin to Kentucky - one of the very small counties in the east-central portion. "Where the Bluegrass Kisses the Mountains" is our county motto. Anyway, since we sound not at all like anyone here we were constantly asked if we were in witness protection because everyone believed no one in their right mind would choose to live here. They've stopped asking since they now know we're just plain nuts. In reality, we moved to get away from the snow. My son and I lived in Marshall for a few years and although your videos shot there make me homesick, I'm happy here.

When I was a kid, in the 70s, I wanted stuff from Radio Shack. They had these kits where you could put together 20-30 electrical gadgets. That just seemed so neat to me. I also wanted a big telescope to look at the stars and planets with. Witness protection: I would live in Vermont or Maine. Those just seem like great places to get lost in, to hide in. I agree: Monopoly. It's hardly even a game, just in the barest sense. Celebrity crush: I have no idea, can't remember that far back. I do remember that I loved The Monkeys, I thought it would be the coolest thing in the world if I could be the 5th Monkey, even though I have zero musical talent. Just to hang out with those guys would have been enough. Last meal: I would be an innocent person being executed and so I'd be nervous and anxious. I'd eat simple, basic foods. Mashed potato, garlic bread, clam chowder, corn on the cob and... I dunno. Orange juice?

With clue, you could add movement and modifiers to your characters. Or you could just pick a static movement. Like you have 2 actions. You can move two rooms away or you can move to an adjacent room and search. Instead of dice
Something stupid I cried about: Couple weeks ago, after staying at home for three weeks. There was a new Dear Hank and John episode, and I got really happy. Started to play it and they had Dr Carole on to talk about Covid. I just started crying. I wanted distraction, silliness and normalcy. I love Dr Carole, but I just couldn't take more sober talk.
Whenever my family plays Clue, we throw the "you have to roll EXACTLY the number to enter the room" rule out the window. So you are still somewhat dictated by the dice, but it's not "artificially lengthened"

Chyna, I understand the rage cry for something like that. I almost had the same reaction when I went to my truck and someone had shot my back window with a BB gun...and I didn't have the money to pay to have it replaced. I'm lucky I didn't have a stroke. ...it turned out that I had added windshield coverage to my Insurance when I signed up and didn't have to pay anything.
I LOVE the game of Clue. I take it VERY seriously and I sense Chyna does too. I'm totally on your side, Chyna - it takes skill (NOT just luck, Craig!) to win! There's a chance I take this game too seriously because my husband refused to play it with me for about 15 years. Love you guys. Keep doing what you do. :)
Place you would live: Chyna: Costa Rica. I'm in Costa Rica and like... We have free healthcare, but we have less internet reliability though. But close to mountains and beaches and we have 5% of the flora and fauna in the world~ Is pretty cool.
I 100% agree with Chyna about Clue. It takes legit skill. The luck aspect keeps it fun when playing against someone who has a similar skill to yours in deduction! House rules also make it fun. 😁 Also my husband does not agree with me and thinks the dice should be changed.

People stopped liking them years ago, although I don't know why because they're perfect for this day and age. They make something already small even smaller. My old flip phones were a lot more convenient than my big ass smart phones.
