I built the deck myself based on your comment, and you're exactly right. This deck alone makes this event a blast.

Someone else already said it, but this deck feels like playing old-school yugioh. Thanks for sharing the list. I stumbled upon this video with an "exodia ex zero" Google search. Hopefully, this awesome video gets your channel some views. Im subbing!

That's too hilarious! I might just build this but with Chicken Game.

You should chain reckless Greed together because it let's you draw 4 cards and still only skipping 2 draw phases instead of 4 if you activate them in different chains

    • @ItachiYGO
      @ItachiYGO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that's not how that works.
you'll skip the next two draw phases regardless of how many reckless greeds you activate that turn.
you should try to use multiples in the same turn of course, and always delay them as much as possible. but you don't need to do it in the same chain.

@@ItachiYGO Are you sure I activated 2 reckless Greed seperate of each other and skipped 4 draw phases in my hope for exodia deck.

    Hi Itachi!
First of all I think you are really genius at this game.
    But I have a doubt:
I know you ran Battle Fader, but in the deck list you recommend Swift Scarecrow.
I would like to know why?
I prefer Battle Fader, because of the special summon and because it is not affected by Calles by the Grave.
    So why Swift Scarecrow?
    Thanks Itachi!

battle fader gets stopped by anything that prevents or negates summons, which is a lot more common in this event than called by the grave (flounder always has access to barrier statue for example. and many decks are running vanity's emptiness)

sounds funny, but the games seem way too long to efficiently grind games for gems.
honestly I think that's why tons of people are running ben kei, cuz the games are so quick you can just go next. sometimes you end up losing to gokipole.
in the meanwhile, I ran into a guy named SUICIDE DECK who self otk'd with lucky punch, sooo that was pretty funny.

oh yeah..this is definitely not efficient for grinding gems. its more just a cool idea to use.
i guess there is the benefit that you can also work towards the exodia victory rewards while you grind the medals if you do use this.

I think I understand why you prefer classic Yu-Gi-Oh without the extra deck over modern Yu-Gi-Oh without it. It felt like classic was about stalling and building your way to your victory with a hard to beat boss or exodia. Meanwhile, modern is all about flooding the field with smaller monsters that are way easier to bring back and not just granting extra normal summons, but breaking the rules of the game by offering as many as you have card effects during your turn or letting you tribute non-monsters for tribute summons. I think that's why out of all of the modern non-extra deck archetypes, I prefer libromancer over floowandereeze or true draco. It might just be that they use ritual summons over tributes and normal summons.

I didn't enjoy this event. I love using the Extra Deck for my Synchro Summoning with my main Synchrons.
