I love when the duel logs duel logs dueled and won the duel using pro dueling tactics against a meta duelist using busted cards to duel. Truly the greatest duelist
For those of you thinking that Witch's Strike is an amazing card (like I did), remember that it can be solemn'd. It happened to me, TWICE. Once they used solemn to my summon, and again to Witch's Strike. It's a counter to decks that can already counter it easily.
Its good to save a negate that can easily respond to the negation of WS but usually you just use WS without any protection which ends up half of the time being negated. Though it obliterates those who only go for 2 Negate boards which is common not including their handtraps.
i fully agree with editor at 2:07 , pure archetype decks are the best yugioh experience. Using the same generic cards everyone else uses sucks all good interest out of it

@@ashikjaman1940 can't tribute summon off of iblee, she locks you into link summons and the deck's goal is to extra link and lock you out of those. pretty much your only out is to have a spell that clears the board in some way.

Custom new spell. On Spell Speed 4, set 1 witch strike. It can't be targeted or destroyed while it is set, it can be activated this turn and becomes spell speed 4 if it does activate. On the end phase banish your hand and field face down if witch's strike didn't activate this turn. HAVE FUN PLAYING NEGATES NOW
Every time I watch this dudes channel my brain goes "man this dude sounds exactly like that one top X cards in yugioh yugituber" and I read the channel name again and feel stupid
I swear that your videos slowly got me back into appreciating Yu-Gi-Oh in general. Not enough to play competitive, because I suck at building decks, but enough to at least play the games again. Any suggestions to get past the inevitable early wall that is going to be the fairy deck on World Championship 2011?

Try MTG Arena, it's far diverse and has a lot of format. But as new player your main concern is your few cards collection though. And there is no FTK possibility in MTG, at least in standard format.

Oh yea, but when I try to use witches strike after fusion deployment getting ash blossom, I get a bug where it just sits there and looks at me like I have the problem... Shitty buggy game
Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but ash blossom doesnt negate the activation, only the effect. Witch's strike can only be activated specifically when a card's activation is negated.
It's not a bad card to have around. With negates being a thing in the meta. This card can be scary. Especially if they negate and cannot deal with this cards activation afterwards. It's a strong card to nuke. Edit: Also it sucks for impermanence and Ash Blossom as it doesn't negate the activation.
That's like every match once you get into gold rank. The amount of scoops I've seen from getting any kind of play that breaks their multi omninegate/floodgate board is staggering.

The problem is it's a Normal trap card (not Counter), so other negates can be activated in response.

Whenever I get a new archetype I play it pure for at least a while. Best way to get a feeling for it.
Pure usually also allows you to use some staples

Man had full combo with multiple extenders for extra plusses, and just messed up the entire U-link combo. This was sad to watch the opponents turn.
