The company is producing a new line, manufactured by a different company right now. We had the opportunity to speak with the team this week and see the new products. madison russell If the ring doesn't activate when you press a button, either the battery or the remote control is not working. This is a different issue from normal. We haven't experienced many bad remotes.

I went back to look for a replacement and they had a small space led kit that came with the strip, remote, and an LED dimmable bulb which only cost like $14.88 instead of 12.88 for just the single strip so I got that instead cuz I figured for $2 more why not.
I had to switch my lights to different rooms and they stopped working. I watched his video and turns out I had the monster logo facing the wrong way! Thankyou!
After a while, the remote stops working and the light in the center of the ring doesn't activate anymore? That's usually an indication of a bad battery. Ours did that earlier in the year when it was time to change the battery.

Zombies Balla That's definitely more complicated. Before you return, have you tried pairing while holding the remote against the control unit? Some people have had success with that.
Okay, so I figured it out if you didn’t, this also works… Unplug the connector to the lights (both the usb, the one that plugs into the lights, not the wall plug in) try unplugging, then plugging back in, and if that doesn’t work, all you have to do it unplug it, and turn it the other way and plug it back in, it sounds so simple but it worked for me 😂 Hope this helps 👌 Thank you for this video! 😁 saved me a couple bucks 😉

I’ve been trying all day to get my lights to work! I have the 1908 remote and the 1931A kit, but the remote just seems useless. The remote is responsive (whenever I touch the remote the center circle glows red) but no matter what solution I try it just won’t work. I got these lights for Christmas from my brother and the remote just isn’t communicating at all with the strip :(
It sounds like there might be another bad batch. Which kit did you get? Does the UPC end in 770098 or is it a different SKU? Also, where are you seeing a batch number on the remote? Ours seem to only have a batch on the box and control unit.

I have a good little setup of like 4 light strips and 4 bulbs paired to two different remotes (strips on one, bulbs on another) and the only problem I have is I LITERALLY HAVE TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTES EVERY SINGLE DAY lmao. I don't know what could possibly be draining the batteries so quickly. I ended up buying rechargable AAAs just because I was having to buy batteries every week. No idea what this witchery is lol. Well I did as you'd said in a video and bought one to replace the piece and bought a few others In that batch and... All but one worked even the 16 foot one will not pair.
Unfortunately, the defect returned, and expanded to the longer one. It's been a real disappointment that the factory did not care about the users. The company did, however, and has switched to a new factory going forward.

my set came from 2003A and it is having the same issues.
Mine is 1916a and controller is 1906...also defective. Do any of these light strips actually work at all? Lol

I’ve been trying all day to get my lights to work! I have the 1908 remote and the 1931A kit, but the remote just seems useless. The remote is responsive (whenever I touch the remote the center circle glows red) but no matter what solution I try it just won’t work. I got these lights for Christmas from my brother and the remote just isn’t communicating at all with the strip :(

It sounds like there might be another bad batch. Which kit did you get? Does the UPC end in 770098 or is it a different SKU? Also, where are you seeing a batch number on the remote? Ours seem to only have a batch on the box and control unit.

I have a 1915A batch and a 1905 controller, is the controller the issue?
MonsterSnipes211 Is your strip not pairing? If it's not working, then probably. 1905 is likely the important indicator since they were manufactured together.

That is everyone's problem, unfortuantely. There is a big defect with the product. There have been people who say it works if you go through the pairing process, remove the batteries from the remote, and put them back. Others have suggested that holding the remote to the control unit while pairing works. Our recommendation is to try the new SKU instead: bit.ly/MonsterLedStripS

I have a good little setup of like 4 light strips and 4 bulbs paired to two different remotes (strips on one, bulbs on another) and the only problem I have is I LITERALLY HAVE TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTES EVERY SINGLE DAY lmao. I don't know what could possibly be draining the batteries so quickly. I ended up buying rechargable AAAs just because I was having to buy batteries every week. No idea what this witchery is lol. At this point I'd like to just know I'm not the only one haha.
I have the 16.4 and the controller part of the cord has a missing pin. Is there a way to buy just that part?

zoe_._ aube You can pair more than one strip to the same remote, but you cannot splice two strips together (in our experience).
@@PLuGHiTzLive We've been able to connect one strip to another by "butting" the end of one strip up against the part where we plug in the USB and are able to get them to light up, but is this safe?
Timothy Williams It might work, but it's not supported. The control unit might get hot or the power supply might get damaged.

so i have 2 LED light strips in my room and they both connected to one remote and one of them doesnt change the same as the other one even if it turn it off and on one light turns normal white and the other is baby blue it all started when i kept it on for like 8pm-8am and i woke up with it with 2 different colors
My spend button still is not working what so ever, it lights up red that it's feeling my touch. But not reacting to speed or when you hold it down for few seconds to pair n it's supposed to flash... Nothing.... I just bought them yesterday.

My is my controller or lights ig. I try to change the colors but it only has white, green, and yellow. But when I plug it in to the little white thing that connects to your wall it quickly goes to red and blue (new colors)

Well I did as you'd said in a video and bought one to replace the piece and bought a few others In that batch and... All but one worked even the 16 foot one will not pair.
Unfortunately, the defect returned, and expanded to the longer one. It's been a real disappointment that the factory did not care about the users. The company did, however, and has switched to a new factory going forward.

There's definitely a red light. If you aren't able to get even the remote to work, there's a bigger problem there.

I have theses from November 2019 two boxes and they have never turned on. This is crazy and a rip off. It was the money I worked for and they just took it and sold me a piece of crap product. Today was the last time I am trying to get this to work. GE here I come!
Unfortunately, Walmart refuses to pull the product despite our attempts. Hopefully, the GE units will work better for you. Let us know about your experiences.

The strip does not have a battery, so you will not charge it. They must be plugged in to function.
