i bought these and i noticed a couple porblems that couldve been easily solved by the manufacturer: the cable is WAY too short, and it does not display the cable or cable length on the box at all. when i first bought this, i was under the impression that it was cordless because of the display on the box and i was wrong. secondly, when you connect the stand to the light bar, it connects extremely close to where the wire goes into the bar itself, potentially kinking it and reducing movement of the wire. that could have been solved by just moving the connection lower on the bar, but whatever. the biggest concern ive had has been how faulty the velcro strips are. the adhesive does not adhere to my painted drywall very well at all and it even fell while i was sleeping and woke me up. the final thing ive noticed is that the remote is super touchy, i have accidentally turned the bars off way too many times after getting it to just the right setting i wanted, so itd be nice if they were actually tactile buttons instead of just a sensor. The lights themselves are really nice though. you can go really dim or really bright and the plastic over the lights makes the lighting very smooth
It's likely less of an issue with the velcro, and more an issue with the paint. Many modern paints are Non-VOC paints and have stuff added to them to make them stain resistant. A side effect of that is adhesives won't bond to the paint. I install vinyl graphics and we encounter this issue quite often.
The only question I have is when you unplug them do they auto shutoff? Like if I were to unplug them then plug them back in would they come back on or just stay off. The main reason I ask is I want to use this as an attract in a gumball machine. But if the machine is unplugged and I go to plug it back in do I have to turn these lights on again.
Na they just came out with them lol I just seen them at my Walmart last night for the first time and I go to that section Lal the time... I have a bunch of their cheap led strip lights in different rooms of our house so I'm always buying the monster led stuff from Walmart and like I said, just seen these for the very first time so I know they're newer and def not discontinued
You can buy any monster luminescence kit and the remote should be able to repair to it. Although I can't guarantee you will be able to put them in pairing mode.
@@tristandirth3790 bro i’ll send you the manual there’s a button you hold and it’s resets the pairing and repairs think it the bottom button in the middle row

There is a new version with a built in Bluetooth and you can control your light bar with your smartphone. You can get it at Walmart.
Have you been able to get your light to pair? Mine does not show up on the app.

They like never connect right it’s trash

@@jibulous1 the velcro would rip before the adhesive ripped off the paint tho. the velcro strip was still on the wall and just the led stick came off
@@jibulous1 or maybe it really was the adhesive to the paint as stated by my og comment. i remember the velcro being the problem tho

If I remember correctly they do turn back on as soon as you plug them back in. I'm not 100% sure but like 85%
Can’t find them on Walmart’s website, wonder if they are discontinued?

Just like with tape light the remotes are not sync to specific product so one remote will work on the same units.
