    Great job.
    I think LEDs facing outward on the mirror would look nicer, even with the diffused housing.
    Great vid! I recently put a vertical strip in a corner, but mounted onto a 20mm wide flat aluminium bar I had lying around, and faced it into the corner so its floating, about 20mm away from the wall. The light spills onto the corner and is diffused, just like in the your 2nd example with acoustic panels. I much prefer it this way compared to facing into the room where you can see the face of the chanel, the light spill is much nicer when bounced of walls in my opinion.
    Love your videos, thanks so mcuh for sharing!

      That’s the biggest limitation for me is where is the power source for all of these strips. It’s because of that that I only have strips behind my TV, computer monitors, and for my daughter’s vanity mirror.

      Thanks Robin! All of these are plugged into an outlet. Most of the time furniture like a shelf is covering the outlet and cords so I hide them behind that. I also used a plant to hide them in the bathroom. I’ll make a video covering this since it seems a lot of people are interested in ways to do this.

    I was wondering what type of led would you use to cover a big room on all for corners of the ceiling?

    Do you have a video of how and what LED strip lights you used for your progress/workout timer? I seen one of your videos the other day talking about it but yet to find out how to make one. I showed it to my wife and she would love to have one in her classroom for the students

    Fair play some great ideas, I like the idea of skirting (base boards) lighting. Might have to try that, Only thing is how to hide the wires for power at the end. Hmm

    • @SmartHomeSolver
      @SmartHomeSolver  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree that will be the next thing to figure out how to hide the wires for the base boards.

      Might go through the door to the next room. Really liking the idea of this for my hallway as the switch is at the end of the hallway so get rather dark. A light strip would help

    So when you installed them, how did you round corners? In the mirror project I see you added corner covers, but how do the clipped strips work together?
    Sorry it might be a silly question but I’m just watching thinking, how does everything receive power?

    For your mirror how did you create the right angles with the light strips? Is there corner adapters that are easy to use? I'm not capable of soldering anything together.
