- For this video we are playing with lots of different products and creating this beauty of a look! It's a French Provincial MASTERPIECE painted with Waverly Chalk Paint! I used techniques like mixing colors, aging and gold leafing to create this epic furniture transformation. I hope you guys enjoy the video!

I love that you used some good old fashioned, inexpensive Waverly paint. I love that mix of the brown into the pink. It really turns it into a grown-up pink. I love French Provincial. Reminds me of my my childhood. Love seeing it refreshed like this.

This french provincial furniture was in my bedroom growing up. My Mom still has it in my room. I had the canopy bed, dresser, and night stand.
My daughters had this whole bedroom set. We gave it away when they grew up. If I had only been as creative as you or saw your video years ago . Thanks for the inspiration
Wow! And I've got the dresser and high boy that goes with your 3-Drawer Chest-now I know what to do with it. The late 50s-early 60s bedroom set came already pink and gold but I re-did it to go with my 1970's blue & white hi-lo shag carpet. Thanks Kacha.

That dusty pink is amazing! Bought a gallon of the oops paint at Home Depot that is too bubble gum pink. Thanks for the tip to make it more sophisticated dusty pink.
French here, the adhesive stencil says: "Live without love isn't properly living. Life is a flower from which love is the honey. There is only one happiness in life, that is to love and being loved. Between two hearts that love each other, there is no need heaven" and imo i guess it's just a bit too much love :D
This is a beautiful piece. You make me think I can't do this. My granddaughter is going too spend a week with me this summer for the first time. This may be a great way to decorate the bedroom and save a little money. Thank you.

I have a beautiful old little writing table that I bought at a thrift shop 50 years ago. I thought I ruined when I tried to renovate it, but didn't have the heart to get rid of it. It's been sitting in my garage for 40 years. I love it and now I see what you did and how you did it and I'm ready to go give that sweet table another life. I'm going to paint it black and gild the edges and the scrolls on the legs. Thank you for the inspiration, Kacha!

I just used Prepaint Krud Kutter for the first time and Love it! It is so easy and cleans furniture beautifully, I did have to order through Amazon because I couldn't find it anywhere - took forever to get, argh. Thank you so much for introducing me to this product.
Lovely, as always. I love how the gold leaf gives it a slightly less perfect look vs regular gilding wax. This gives it that extra touch that makes it appear more vintage!

Question could the guilding wax be used instead of the gold leaf and if so would it be less expensive? Would the results be as stunning?
YES! You wont get that older, flaky effect you get with gold leaf but it will still look amazing!

This turned out great, my daughter had this same set of furniture, i redid her desk with a crackle and lavender peaking out and crystal hardware, but this night stand is gorgeous! We had donated our set to a friend a years ago, this makes me wish I still had them!
