- I found this Beautiful Vintage French Provincial Desk and was so excited as soon as I saw it! There were a few mistakes along the way but I had so much fun and got to use @AnnieSloanHome Pearlescent Glaze for the first time. @ReDesignwithPrima to add that extra "Wow" factor and I think the end result is just amazing!

I guess its each to their own. I love seeing these beautiful pieces brought into the 21st century with a new make over. Its like I have a gorgeous 1940s china cabinet that I found 18 months ago and my step mother said very sternly.. dont you dare paint it.. I wish I had seen it first to buy for my son.
Now she means well but that was a bit on the nose. .. ill respect her wishes.. for now
I love the way it is painted in that svenska blue with the “icy” accents, but I don’t like the flowers and the script. It’s just too much and definitely too kitsch for my taste.

I have a few pieces I probably won’t paint, but I enjoy imagining their sheer HORROR over my gorgeous pieces in English Yellow, Duck Egg Blue, Old Violet, and more to come. 😉👍🏼👍🏼

Hi Kacha, great find! I started with AS chalk paint 9 years ago and I still have the piece and it still looks great. I have tried other brands, but nothing compares to Annie Sloane. My keeper pieces I always buy AS paint. Looks gorgeous and congratulations on your new partnership with Annie Sloane!

This piece is so very beautiful as are all of your pieces. The thing I really loved about this video is that you showed your mistakes and didn't edit them out. A lot of people who are just starting out. Look at something that someone has done on TH-cam and think they just did it perfectly the first time. Where that is sometimes the case most of the time it is trial and error. Thank you for keeping it real so people don't get discouraged. I've been painting furniture for over 7 years now and you still amaze me!

Oh, it's so beautiful, Kacha. I loved the stencil, loved the color, loved the glaze. So absolutely elegant. I appreciated your showing us what didn't work for you as well. I mess up all the time, so it helped to know even the best furniture artist is willing to try again to make decor work.
She is a stunner. I would love to do my bedroom furniture this spring and use Annie Sloan paint. I also want to get moulds to use and put flowers on the furniture, not a lot but make it suttle, The ease of Annie Sloan would be better for me than anything else. The look I want for my furniture would be white with a dark fade. I love how everything old is so very new with all you do.

Very pretty! Since you are so artistic....have you thought of learning how to hand paint the flowers? I know it sounds hard but practicing anything makes it easier.
