Sandra Westley uk, I’ve got the exact same table, at the moment it’s painted but it would look lovely like this, I picked mine up many years ago from a secondhand shop, just keep looking there still about.
I always loved the glossy look. I haven’t decoupaged since the ‘70’s. My brother loved refinishing old furniture. He refinished our father’s part cane highchair from when he was a baby 1921. I still have it. My brother has since passed away, too, but left a legacy for me to love refinishing; and all the steps that go with it. Thanks for your share.
What a marvelous job you did❗️After you painted black & over the details I was NO! Then you saved it with the silver wax. Whew! It is absolutely beautiful ❣️😻🤩
I love the details on this table and silver against black is always magic. I did something similar to my table but instead of using the silver I used gold leaf but it wasn't just gold leaf it was a mixture of purple, emerald green, sky blue, gold and silver. I found that at Michael's and I freaking love the look. Your table is beautiful.
Love the piece love the resin and the gilding wax I was hoping to see the two pieces together since you describe the first one just to see how well they fit together
This table is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t know a lot about antique pieces but my first thought was NOOOOoooo don’t paint it. But my gosh is it just beautiful. Thanks for inspiring us to step outside the box. New subscriber here.

This little table deserved the special treatment. What a delightful piece you scored. This is the second time I’ve watched the makeover, she is a delight for the eyes. Wasn’t sure about the resin at first but you won me over
So impressed by your work. Wow.. absolutely stunning. Perhaps one of the most beautiful, dainty, furniture pieces. You just killed it girl. Love it to pieces.
Absolutely LOVE ❤️ what you did with this piece! I found a table similar to this set out for trash. Picked it up and brought it home. You have inspired me to make it into something beautiful! Thank you
I have this exact table! Passed down from my great grandparents. All my (5) siblings and many (9) cousins wanted this piece. Cannot believe you picked this up for $10!! Absolutely stunning results!
Phenomenal Outcome! Extremely Inspirational! Romantic no doubt with THOSE flowers.Id thot you'd cut exactly Around edges, guess you can't see edges huh. I recently got an old couch, the low/long ones they used to put at bottom of your bed. Fabric was nasty so, Ii ripped it off. Wow, I'm make my a table from it.ait had deep scrolling on those "S" legs.High legs went past the top I got (from friends acerage) 2 old blackened planks of redwood. For top fit perfectly, painted glossy black with Antique gold inside filigree. It's a Masterpiece. Thanks for your Talented Inspiration! Love your voice Soothing! Do Live you thanx AGAIN Debbie DINATALE. Bethel Island California
This came out soooo amazing !! You are giving me so many ideas for projects to try out for me and my daughter. I’m really excited I’ve found your channel !
WOW!!! How AWESOME is your creative mind along w/your hard work you put in to create that lovely piece of furniture! Look @ the end result? It's GORGEOUS
I love antiques and just about cried at the thought of you ruining such a beautiful old Victorian piece. I have to admit the finish was amazing, though an antique purest would cringe. I don’t think what you have done has permanently damaged the historical value, in the future as fashions change, as they usually do it can be removed, and taken back to the original look if wanted. Very nice job, I have l loverly reproduction antique style dining setting l am going to paint now, your videos have given me so many ideas.
I wish people would use reproductions for these projects. However it was in bad condition so at least it keeps going. The treatment is stunning. What would be the difference if you used a floral tissue paper? Also, PLEASE don't have your pets in the space with you while working with toxic chemicals. Your dog shouldn't be breathing that in either. Anyone with birds- don't risk it. Birds are highly susceptible to toxins in the air.
Wow. You should be on a syndicate day time show that I can play in my office non stop. I love your instructions method and description of techniques. I am hooked. Lol. You've got a new subscriber!
This is really pretty I just wish you have taken the time to actually cut out the flower pattern instead of just cut around it so all that excess paper is showing. Even if you paint it it will show. I think the results would be even nicer if you took a little extra time to cut out your flowers completely instead of leaving that unseemly paper showing around it. But I love your stuff.
I loved it...until... the final display showed a vibrantly glossy (amazing) finish... but the cutting of the decoupage paper in a haphazard fashion and the caviar brush strokes on the paper showed up like a sore thumb in contrast. It turned the piece from a 'must buy' into a 'so sad, total fail' for me. She is obviously skilled and not an amateur, so please people don't hate on me for voicing my opinion. I was so happy to see you brighten up the detail work - a very nice touch.
I’m the first to admit my mistakes and If there were brush strokes I would probably point it out but I have to say proudly that this one is brush stroke free. I do appreciate your feedback. I enjoy seeing from another’s perspective. Thank you!
@@FlipItFurniture @16:03 - that's what I'm talking about - just to be more precise. The contrast line. A lot of hard work and I appreciate the video. Hey, every interaction is a plus in the TH-cam algo. eyes, so I especially appreciate your responding to a response that is a bit critical.
Ah yes! Okay i got it. That’s the decoupage paper. I probably should have gone in further with my caviar. It’s the contrast of color from the dark black paint over the lighter black paper. I’ve looked at that 100 times and didn’t see it as you did so I’m glad we had a chat. I will be looking out for that in my next decoupage project. Thanks!

My grandmother had this exact table. If only I had known at 10 that I'd want to decoupage it at 66! Great job...looks gorgeous.

It inspired me a lot, also. I'm looking to put that resin on the two little side tables we use next to our recliner.
That came out beautiful.

Me parece una obra muy bonita, de como a quedado, pero.... la pena que el idioma no lo entiendo .. podía ser en español. Español
I'm the same way about painting antiques but people don't buy them anymore unless they are painted
