To this day ever since the episode Aired I’m still in disbelief. Everything about this episode was ON POINT! The animation, the Soundtrack for sure, the voices, etc! I watched Eren’s transformation with big eyes 🤣

Every time the colossal titan transforms, in the seconds it takes for the body to generate, Ymir is spending millions of years making it.
why the hell am i the only one who thinks that soldier who threw the spear against the tyrannic king was the embodiment of Attack Titan's will to fight the self righteousness of the king?
This could be the true embodiment, but it could also makes sense if we take this as rather a catalyst for her to rebel, hence creating Attack Titan as an aspect.
Ymir never had any reason to rebel cause she truly loved him, but right at the end of her life, Fritz didn't even show any kind of affection or concern towards her, hence why she gave up and let herself die. The Attack Titan is a literal embodiment of her desire to rebel instead of being used by Fritz and his progeny, primarily because she have had enough of her (and to an extend, her generations) being treated as a slave, demon, and pawn of war instead of who she really is, a person.

@@syrenity64 Well, realistically there probably had to be an actual Marleyan named Helos, it’s just that he didn’t really do much, and instead was just given the credit for what King Fritz did behind the scenes. Given that the Great Titan War was only a century ago, and that humanity as a whole had advanced relatively far in terms of economic and technology development, I find it hard to believe that a prominent figure like Helos could have been fully made up without somebody noticing and exposing the deception.

Once you read the Manga it's more obvious that it was Kruger speaking TO Eren, but yeah all history was influenced by Eren himself... It's like an infinite loop, where he mada all the Attack Titan bearers to behave on a certain way to ensure that it's passed down to him eventualy and he returns to do all that all the time, sometimes without even realizing.
The attack titan do NOT see the future, they see because Eren that has both the Attack Titan and the Founder makes them see them... he even convinced Ymir to do that, but he himself wonders if it's her call (I doubt that, because she doesn't have control of WHO borns ir first place). So it was all Eren and NOT Ymir, I strongly believe that even the Pep talk that Eren gave to Ymir was due to hiss great manipulation skills

Annie: Gifted with a sword, but does not exactly play well with others

That whole episode just broke my mind! I've been waiting for it since I've graduated high school in 2013. Now I already graduated both my bachelor's and master's degrees and finally I see the end of this epic manga/anime! What a journey it was!

This is one of those rare anime where I don't really know what side to root for. The main protagonist is also the main villain, while Misaka and Armin is still the good guys, uniting enemy nations to save the world from Eren.
Eren "villain" and Ymir "the demon"? At the end all it ends about a little girl that deserved to life get his village murdered, destroyed and humanity had the bad luck she ended up with the power of god. Real villain it is humanity itself, so I don't consider Eren any villain, Ymir story is outrageous and unlucky for everyone she ended up having the power of titan instead of just dying, I can understand Eren deciding after trying to get any solutions because he tried to get solutions and he saw people talking in Marlyn about peace and all that stuff, I can see Eren perspective saying hey guys I introduce this new meme, reject humanity return to monke, that's basically Eren decision at the end and I can agree with him, even 2000 million passed and human doing the same bullshit from 2000 years ago with Ymir story

This and the previous episode made me realize Isayama has Oda-levels of plot connecting and foreshadowing.
For me Isayama is much more great because the complete story is compact and leads to foreshadowing. Every detail and every spoken word is important to understand every acting of wvery character. One Piece is a simple story which is due to the "cliché Shonen". Oda's foreshadowing is great! No doubt! But he has at first put much more time into it and many many many many episodes you could just cut out of OP and the story would be the same. In AoT you can't cut/ left any talking to understand the tenor. Sorry for my lack of English skills😅

@@RAIKOVITCH Oda has been at it for almost 25 years. A lot of the new plots we saw in recent chapters were referenced from like a decade ago. You may not be impressed with the story, but you gotta hand it to him for remembering those details and incorporating them as if he planned them all along.

Plus one piece has half the episode as a flash back, 20% of opening / ending and a lot of useless dialogues, let's not forget the non-canon Filler episodes which leave a few meaningfull minutes per episode going to the actual story.
I still love one piece, but it is what it is.

Idk how many time my mind got blown away by this episode and the previous one, every moment keep getting more and more intense, every plot they gave in these 2 episodes really connect everything from any of previous season that i've watch and don't understand at all, i keep getting my mind blown from Gabi shot Eren, Grisha innocence, Grisha loves toward Zeke, Eren manipulation plan, Eren could see the future and even affecting everything from the past, the Ymir backstory and when everything was connected together, Eren's head was still in Zeke's hand, everything happen in that 1 single moment, and you guessed it, mind blown again🤯

It’s a paradoxical thought, but the past happens because of the future and the future happens because of the past. Grisha wouldn’t have done what he did unless he saw the future, and him seeing that future made him follow the steps he needs for it to come to pass.
The summary is Eren is officially the smartest character since he outsmarted the war chief Zeke and outsmarted him and made him beleive that he's in control but in reality Eren was the one playing 5d chess this whole time. 😏😂

at first i really didn’t get why ymir didn’t heal. it was only after rewatching s4 part 1 that i understood it: the shifters must have the will to live to heal. ymir didn’t have it anymore because earlier that day she saw the king with another woman or something.

One thing I never see reacts note is that this flashback with ymir confirms that the eldians did infact subjugate the world

14:25 i just realized why she couldnt heal back up. it was because to transform into a titan you need a clear objective (revealed when eren couldnt transform when doing his experiments, but could when he tried to pick up a spoon back in season 1 or 2), but ymir here was probably tired of her life and no longer had the will to live.. (i could be wrong tho)

She didn’t heal because she didn’t want to. Just like Eren when he pretended to be a wounded soldier in Marley. Being in love with Fritz didn’t change the fact that she was in hell because he was a monster of a person and she was a slave.
It’s why she ultimately wanted to see Mikasa overcome loving a monster, so that she could do the same.

Dont you think its more ACCURATE to say, her freedom was taken from her by a warmongering, evil person who made her a slave, took her freedom and the only way she thought she would be free was through death that's why she chose not to heal! Like how do you not get this!!!
