Picked up new GX550 and super happy with it. Don't care for Toyota aesthetics but that is a personal choice. Staying away from Toyota hybrids until rep gets better.
OH sweet! I'd go GX as well since it's a better size for my taste. But the hybrids are fine. It seems the non hybrid V6 is the one with the early problems
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I shopped in Central Jersey. My other options were over an hour away. This is my 2nd with the first being a 2023 Platinum. I don’t believe I am missing anything by not getting the Lexus.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed please tell what dealer, because I have tried to get OT GX 550 and no dealer has much inventory and they're all sold. If they do have it, not one dealer out 25 I have called will sell me one at MSRP, all over MSRP. They all have incoming 24 still in build phase and the used car market has all trims with 10, 15K mark ups. Their is also Rumors the overtrail may discontinued for 24/25 and lexus will strictly sell the luxury models and sell The LC for those that want the off road version at Toyota.
Non of them, because they are ultra unreliable engine V35A-FTS engine it’s completely unreliable engine especially with twin turbo V6 engine, and the Most disaster area it’s with mild hybrid version, for the same money and pay extra cash get a GLE and GLS. Or Get a Nissan Patrol (Armada in American market) and VR35DDT series with GT-R are bulletproof better than whacky Toyota new engine V35A
the 24 dont have any issues at all. That so called V6 that had the machine debris issue in 22/23 models, was first installed in the 2017 Lexus LS sedan, Toyota ran that engine to a million miles, that 22/23 had those issues is of no concern for 24 models. Plus the GX is built in the Land Cruiser plant in Japan. GLE & GLS are not body on frame suv, give me an Over Trail GX any day over those, plus apples and oranges, one is a legit off roader and the other ones are at best snow wagons. Now a Nissan Patrol, thats always a good choice, always has been, very solid cars.

I shopped the GX550 and the dealership wanted markup. Purchased a 2024 Sequoia Platinum with TRD Off Road package.
Depends on the dealer, my local Lexus dealer is MSRP or less..

me too, have tried 25 dealers, if they do have one available, its over MSRP. the used car market has all trims with 10 to 15k over MSRP. WTF!
LEXUS ALL DAY. 🤣🍻
Yeah I would pick the Lexus too!
like them both me the GX overtrail no hybrid and better cargo space over the sequoia 3 row luxury family school bus
Yeah definitely a good choice! They hybrid and the 3rd row really takes away a lot of space in the Sequoia
i would got a gently used Sequoia and save much money
Yeah wouldn't be a bad way to go!
Same engine
Yup, just one is a hybrid, went over all those specs..
@bwset69 lol, nope.

I would buy either, they are reliable. What links do you have to prove otherwise?
