I just recently started this TH-cam channel telling short stories and soon longer video essays about Anime. I had to start out with an old 25$ shot gun mic I had from my hobby videography days. I'd use this microphone to record everything. This would help me discover what I enjoy using it the most for, how to record better and learn to work with sounds in post production. This would be the first quality microphone I've owned. I'm only now taking my first steps on a journey I began thinking about over a decade ago. I enjoy music and have played and owned several instruments since childhood, although it's been a long while and I've missed it. In addition, another thing I've thought about doing for a long time (since before TH-cam) is producing content and sharing it with others. Thinking of getting one of these for voice acting and singing, currently making do with my old reliable blue yeti but think I need an upgrade, is this the best pick at the moment for price or is there anything slightly more expensive that might do better? Can't really do with dropping 1000 on a mic.

I think 220 with tax of the shipping, the microphone is made in Australia and they need to ship it to you in Italy so this will cost you more money, try to search for RODE stores in your country they will be Def cheaper than 220 euros

Hey man, appreciate the reply, I actually went with the Nt1 5th gen as it went on sale, that 32 bit float in usb kinda sold it for me for voice acting and ease of use as I didn't have an audio interface on hand, thanks for the help@@homestudioacademy

I think 220 with tax of the shipping, the microphone is made in Australia and they need to ship it to you in Italy so this will cost you more money, try to search for RODE stores in your country they will be Def cheaper than 220 euros

This is the Signature Series not the 5th Gen. they are the same except this mic doesn’t have USBC connection. Good luck though 👍
Great Review....If I were to win , I would be using it to record my own vocals. I've been interested in the Rode Series mics but just can't make up my mind on which would be best to try. My local music store does not carry these at all. so hard to decide.
