You don't. Simple as. 096 can shrug off nukes. As the CO of the initial securing team stated "The gunner had a 50caliber machine gun on that thing for a solid twenty seconds. Might as well have been spitting at it."
In the original log when 096 kills someone it leaves no traces of them (i think its because he eats them but its up for interpretation) but it wouldn't look good or be as scary on camera if there was just no body.
another horror worthy interpretation is that he plays with the body,squishing it with such force that it's just the blood left

If I remember correctly, the sleeping agent is meant for the employees so none of them would accidentally see its face.
Why not just cut all the lights and tell everybody to hunker down until it's ambled off to wherever?

@@eXpriest I mean wouldn't it count as seeing his face even in the dark? I mean it would be safer to be knocked out than having a slight chance of seeing his face
@@CertifiedGoonerMan really depends how many photons hit your retina i guess otherwise you didn't truly see him, you were just looking at him; lots of people looked at the photo, only the one guy actually saw him.
@@eXpriest I mean like what what counts as his face not be visible by 096 to not be triggered? How much light or darkness for him to count as not seeing his face? Any light could trigger him. It's definitely the safer option to knocked staff out rather than gambling. I'm adding one more, infrared? Some animals can see in infrared spectrum. Would that count? I think it's not only safer but cost effective to use gas. Just my thought tho
Actually, all weapons used on 096 has effect, bullets rapidly tears it's flesh,but the problem is it's skeleton,which is wayy too hard,and it's ability to rapidly regenerate
The regeneration is the problem. You can break its bones just like a human, it's just it'll heal so fast
scp-096 will attack anyone that sees its face, whether in person, video, or image, it will immediately break containment and attack them, wherever they are. Although, it's been proven that an accurate drawing of it's face will not trigger it, which is why all images of 096 are artist renditions, of course the original artist died. It's not invulnerable to damage, it can bleed and have chunks of its body destroyed. The issue, is its skeleton and the parts that connect them, are damn near indestructible. Eventually it heals it's skin back. Good thing is, unless someone sees its face, its completely docile, which is why soldiers can approach it and even touch it, as long as they don't attack or see its face. If you want to see some really interesting stories in an entertaining way, scp illustrated is a good place. The volgun and others are also very good.
096 is one of the most scary scps out there the dude is near invincible

SCP ghost town is worth the watch
SCP 096 Screams because it's VERY upsetti spaghetti. It's already a miserable creature, which is why you can hear it crying when it's docile. But seeing its face causes it an immense amount of distress. He's VERY shy, which is why his nickname is The Shy Guy.
One of my theories is that when someone sees his face, he thinks that person is (or maybe an image of that person in his head is) making fun of him, thinks hes ugly and is taunting him. It all spirals in his head winding him up until it burst and he HAS to delete them to make it stop. It would fit with the one minute or so of him freaking out before he goes after the person.
Maybe he was an anomalous human that was tormented for being different and it's abilities mutated from the trauma. And that's Canon. My Canon.
That's what's so fun about SCP, other than what is in the article, there is no true Canon. It's flexible, and you believe anything you want, like the Canon of 999 being a child of Super Satan and being destined to defeat their own Father despite being a cutie patootie sugar sweetie pie. 🥰

There is a generally accepted canon though, but that's only really what's on the Wiki.
