As an ex submarine deployed man, Polaris feels basically like a sub, only some signage etc. But for the REAL submarine feeling? Nothing beats the Aegis Retaliator Bomber. Seeing the S9 torps in the glass window of their bay... Yeah. You feel homely. :D

There are very advanced third person camera controls in SC. I would recommend checking out expatbrat. Even just clips from her twitch she's HILARIOUS. She does all the camera controls live streaming and does fun little skits with her face capture.

Machinima is an art form where players record cinematic stuff in a video game. Depending on your age something like Halo's "Red vs Blue" fan series was when it really blew up big.

I had forgotten how good this was! Thanks for reacting to it! So Star Citizen lets you use a webcam to capture your facial expressions. So you can talk, emote, and act. The upcoming 4.0 improves what we have now. 97 players is about a full server right now. But in the future with dynamic server meshing we can see a hundred players just on a single ship. They recently did a 2,000 player (fixed server meshing) stress test to see what broke. It wasn't a great experience (the purpose of a stress test is to push things to the breakpoint, so see where it fails). But it did give us an exciting look into the future of the game.

Nothing to say on Hero; it's pretty straightforward. But Judgement is a fun one. The Syndicate is the group that runs the Apex Games; the made a deal to "ally" with Salvo, by bringing Fuse into the games. Mad Maggy, however, was a Salvonian terrorist and freedom fighter. She fought for her people, yes, and did her best to do that right thing. However, she is also prone to acts of needless violence, like when she had that ship fire into the crowds of innocent bystanders. If you're from Salvo, she's fighting for you. If you're literally anyone else - especially a "Syndicate Dog" as she'd say - you're her enemy, and she'll rip you to shreds with her bare hands and teeth. Metamorphosis is really vague and mysterious, just like it's focus - Seer. He was a child born under a bad omen, literally being born the same moment the moon above his home planet was hit my an asteroid. Naturally, in a community driven by superstition, he was ostracized for this bad luck. Superficial things - his eyes, in this case - were used to equate him to his position as a source of bad luck and devastation. But yeah, it's better if you watch the Stories first. However, there is a canonical order for them, with the Season Trailers and the Stories interwoven with each other. There's even a large overarching story between multiple characters that you'll see, if you look close enough.

Neat thing with Fight Night and many other Stories From the Outlands: character in game have Heirloom Weapons that you can get, if you're lucky or spend a lot of money... About $160 per heirloom, if you get them on release. Anyway, the Heirlooms are usually inspired by the characters history, backstory, personality, or lore. For instance, Pathfinder, the robot in Fight Night, got a pair of boxing gloves for his Heirloom Weapon. Also, the noir style trenchcoat was an alternate costume for him. Crypto's trailer didn't take place in Korea, but in a place known as Suotamo, if memory serves. It's planned to be one of the maps, at some point in the future. Also, Apex aims for diversity in it's characters; from Hawaiians, to good ole Irish space mom, they do their best to cover as many walks of life that they can muster. It's part of what makes Apex so interesting. Good as Gold shows off Mad Maggie *and* Fuse; their relationship and falling out. Maggie is a freedom fighter for her planet, Salvo, and Fuse was with her. But he left, to join the Apex Games, which Maggie considered a betrayal. She was the one who sabotaged his introduction in the Season Trailer. Where she blew up the ship and several mountains? She also took over the games for a while and starting running unique game modes.

So, one little correction; the first one wasn't called "Alter" but the character was Alter. The short was actually named "Based on a True Story". Good catch on alternate dimensions though; that's literally her whole gimmick. In the second trailer, that was the father of a character - Wattson - congratulating his daughter on her invention. That invention is actually the Ring that closes in during every game of Apex. Ashes to Ash is an interesting one, since you're missing some context. Horizon, the one reading off those numbers, was tricked into believing that Ash, the simulacrum - a robot implanted with a human consciousness and memories - was a friend. She used the code to wake her up, which made everything much, much worse. But even further, Ash was from Titanfall 2; a member of the original Apex Predators, who you kill in one of the later missions. Then, in Apex, Loba ends up leaping through dimensions to rebuild Ash, which is how she got here. And that part where they're snapping on her head was referencing an actual in-game cutscene we saw. Admittedly, I don't know much about Ballistic. I stopped playing Apex in the season that released Newcastle, so I'm like... 4 seasons removed from his release. And he had very little connection to the other legends, so I don't know much about him.

Awesome video, the Kraken and Carrack commercials are among the best ones CiG made. There are more I would recommend for you to watch if you want to, The Pioneer (Star Citizen: Meet the Consolidated Outland Pioneer), The 890 Jump (Star Citizen: Origin 890 Jump) and The Polaris (RSI Polaris: UEE Militia Mobilization Initiative). Beyond that other great videos for me would also include Whitley's Guide and ILW 2953(Invictus Launch Week 2953 - One Empire) I know you reacted to the 2954 version, for me 2953 was better.

The carrack commercial is a pretty good one although old and with a lot of the older videos the things you see are often out of date. But yes the carrack has the facilities to live in. The kraken isn't released yet but it's silhouette was shown at the last citizen con indicating it should be coming soon. All music you'll hear in official Star citizen videos they make in house so no copyright here. The kraken is basically a Drake flavored combat carrier. The syulen is a Xi'an starter ship but a different manufacturer than the Santok'yai, the syulen is from gatac and the Santok'yai is from Aopoa, and the whole commercial is a big reference to a first contact type of movie i don't remember the name though. A thing unique to gatac ships is they fly more like what you would think of when you think of the classic saucer UFO so they land with the front of the ship facing up into the sky. Both Xi'an manufacturers definitely are unique and alien but the Xi'an is still only one of the alien races in the star citizen universe.

Ok now that you know of the Kraken pls look up the Parody of that Commercial named Drake Leviathan. The OG Video was deleted but if you type Drake Leviathan into the search bar you find the react of DG360 which should be 4:07 in video length ;P

You pretty much never need to worry about copyright with Star Citizen music, they produce their music in house and if you're playing it while watching their content there's no problem as far as I'm aware.

My best record for beating Halo 2 on Easy is 1 hour and 40 minutes. Not bad, but this was about 9 years ago, on the original Xbox disc. Glad you're enjoying it! Flying around with the energy sword is so fun.

The 300i is one of my personal ships of all time. You can use it for so many things as it includes cargo, weapons locker, usable inventory. It's nimble, looks great and I love it.

Hmmm if I were to give constructive feedback, it might be to react more with how a video makes you feel about its subject matter and/or how you imagine interacting with that subject matter in game or simply in the theater of the mind. I have noticed that most of your reaction content is you summing up what the video already said, and I think viewers are more interested in what you have to say. Anyways thats just an opinion. Hey sir, your videos are just fine, imo, it's your enthusiasm about the subject that sells it for me. Keep up the great work! So this is an older ship, and one of my personal favorites. It comes in 4 variants: the 300i base model viewed here, racing, fighter, and explorer. I would never say not to look at it or buy it if you get into SC, but since this came out, there have been many other good starting ships to consider, added to the game. Ironically, the Origin 100 series, the smaller version and starter to this ship came after the 300 series, lol, but is one of many others to consider. Something else for you to maybe check out, is that many "which is the best starter ship in Star Citizen" videos exist out there.

I love the 300i's look here, and disagree with the concept art. In comparison I think the concept is bland, devoid of visual interest, and uninspiring. Little things like vents, small panel lines make it look more realistic and not some CG render like the concept art. So, I don't just disagree, but this video even had me questioning his taste. Like, does he need a better prescription? That brown and 1970s beige color scheme, the cheap wood texture? If you entered, you'd just see just a black wall as the first thing. It's all hideous in comparison. The concept ship clearly looks like a quick concept where little thought was given to textures, colors choices, clues for sense of scale (important in a scifi game), game performance, etc. Overall, it's also a huge step over the original 300i (watch the original commercial) in terms of usability, and the newer Origin style but I miss those gullwing doors (like the Back to the Future Delorean). It's the only ship design I'd love for them to bring back as a retro-classic (at least exterior-wise, the interior had loads of issues). The original exterior reminds me of 1980s luxury/sports/exotic cars.

I suggest watching, "A Taste of Star Citizen's Scale". At 9 minutes, it's an easy watch. It's a good explanation on some of the things that makes this game different from other space games.

That is the old 300i. Also 300i has many interior liveries to choose from. In fact it is the only ship that does that in their sale.

Great video as always! I noticed in this video and the last that you’re having slight audio compression issues in certain parts of the videos. It’s not a huge deal but maybe worth looking into.

Origin is the BMW in the star citizen universe...

300 series is an option. Kinda an all rounder generally but not particularly the best at anything, but it's definitely the most luxurious ship in that size range. Constructive feedback is basically what the star citizen community is all about one thing we often have to see do is make and contribute to bug reports so that the bugs that are important to the community get noticed by the devs.

In my opinion. Mophologies really doesn't understand military design. He might be an architect but he doesn't have the best sense for laying out big vehicles and his taste has nothing to do with the design of the ship. The Polaris is a perfect representation for a military craft. Just compare it to the interior of a modern destroyer or frigate. His comparision of the Polaris with a CIVILIAN ship is just dumb. It's like complaining that an A400Ms inside doesn't look as flashy as the interior of an A380 operated by Emirates.

I'd have wished for better labelling sometimes and floor markings how to get somewhere the quickest. But other than that I really like the Polaris!
