Update: The foundation wore okay, it did wear off around my nose but I also did not powder or blot at all throughout the day. The eyeshadow did actually did crease, but I still think I prefer the powders over the creams :)
Angie- Take the advise you give to us. We don’t all love the same products. Just because other people love something doesn’t mean you have to love it. You have lots of makeup you love. It’s not worth keeping something you don’t love. Of course, I have to remind myself of this too from time to time.
What are you talking about? I always ask my friends to turn off all the lights, pull out their flashlights, while I tilt my head so I can show off my bootleg multichromes. Totally reasonable. 😂😂😂
Ah! You are filling in beauty spots! All this time I thought it was the mascara that has been flaking, but was puzzled by that the flaky mascara was never mentioned. Lol!
I may stand alone when I say this, but I love my last 3 ABH palettes! My first palette from them was the Rose Metals palette, which I loved. I was able to get the Cosmos palette for free with Ulta rewards and I might have created my favorite eye look to date with it. And I've recently got the Fall Romance palette. I've only played with it once because let's face it...a new palette has come out every week since, so fall palettes are tough it seems to use multiple times without FOMO. 😂 I may be in the minority, but i love those palettes!!
Okay but that Tarte white eyeliner is seriously coming for me! Every time you wear it, it looks incredible! 👌🏻 I usually buy the Colourpop one, which is a really good one, but it might be time for an upgrade?! 🤔😻
I say if it's not working for you, let it go. No need to keep it simply because others rave about it. I've gone back and forth on all the eye products you mentioned today for the exact reasons you mentioned them. The Huda matte palettes.... those cream shadows I'm just not into. The ABH looks great in their promo pics and in some YT videos, but honestly I'd rather just take that money and buy some really amazing singles from Terra Moons or Devinah. As for the Colourpop multichromes.... I went ahead and bought the blue one because of any of them, it looked like it had the most shift. After trying it multiple times, it either creases, chunks up, or just looks rather messy. And there's virtually no shift. Even at their price point, those aren't worth it.
I agree about the Tarte Blush wand. I HATE that product! 😂 The CT limited edition color is gorgeous and I am contemplating a back up. 🤦🏼♀️ the Haus Labs foundation only takes a little bit to cover and I used way too much at first. I didn’t know better.
For me, every single concealer I've ever tried falls into this category. I keep trying all the concealers everyone raves about, but they all just make my undereyes look like an octogenarian's ballsack 😢 My undereyes are just too translucent to be covered and too textured to handle anything more than the tiniest dab of product (and don't even get me started on powder...), so I've decided to just embrace it and rock the eternally sleep-deprived look despite getting 10 hours of sleep 😂
😂😂😂 I honestly spit my Gatorade out when I read and then Googled “octogenarian ballsack”!! My birth mother has the same kind of under eyes that you described. One thing I noticed that helps her is to not make it a “brightening” color. Use more of a concealer that is your skin tone. When we put a lighter shade on her there it just looked exactly like what you’re talking about lol. 😁🤣 Not sure if you already know her, but Theresa is Dead has a similar sense of humor as you.
One of the concealers I like, basically the only one I use these days (41), is the Etude House concealer, it looks nice, not drying or showing my lines like Huda or Shape Tape, and it does not break the bank.
Oh I really like my ABH Cosmos palette, for me the formula is great on that matte (and the others). I enjoy it, but I get that You might have better stuff! Especially when You prefer other mattes with those shimmers etc.
I’ve been thinking of that Cosmos palette since it came out but still haven’t gotten it. I think now that its 25% off I might finally cave and get it, as despite all the holiday releases Im still thinking of that Cosmos palette
I bought the Natasha Denona Foundation X after watching you apply and wear it so lovely….I got it in the mail last week and every time I’ve worn it, it’s looked terrible 😞. For me, it’s definitely a product I want to work for me but it may just not be it. Haus Labs on the other hand is extremely lovely!!! I’m super oily and I love it 😂🎉
Whenever I do a declutter I always have a bunch of stuff I'm not sure about that I put 'on probation' and decide to test further before I really give it up. I'd say 95% of it gets decluttered later lol.
The product I’ve been trying to make work is the LYS cream blushes. I’ve heard such good things about them but on my dry skin they just kind of tug and don’t spread easily, they’re just not emollient enough for me. I’ll probably keep them a little longer but I have so many blushes I love, it’s probably not worth it
The Melt powder is very flattering on you, at least on camera. I love the Cosmos palette. The shimmers are unique to my collection & I love the ABH formula.
I purchased the Cosmos palette when it released and I have yet to use it! I just prefer indie eyeshadow palettes. And, I can’t even try to sell it on Poshmark because two of the shades came broken because Ulta shipped it ina padded bag! Ugh!
I love the eye look! I have so much makeup. I’m trying to simplify and declutter things that are ok and not buy tried and true items. I struggle with keeping foundation on my nose throughout the day. I’m open to tips on locking it in and making it budge proof.
I have the same problem, but I think I found a solution for me... The Supergoop matte sunscreen have made my foundation stay on my nose all day 😊 I have only tried it twice but I'm happy so far 😊
I wanted to love the Pat McGrath sublime foundation so much, but it just doesn’t work on my skin. I need to declutter it, especially as it’s probably expired by now anyway. But it was expensive and I wanted to use it but it’s just taking up space. 😂 This video is inspiring me to do a bit of a declutter myself soon. I need to get rid of stuff I’m not using and don’t like as much to have more space to find and use the things I do love. 😊
Cosmos was one of my favs over the summer when I just wanted 1 or 2 shades under glasses. My muted Era, I guess. Trying the Haus Labs again after watching this. I felt it was too thick, but maybe a damp sponge will convince me. Another great video, Ange.
Same cosmos was the only product I liked of the ones on her chopping block but I don’t think Angie should keep it haha She has so many more exciting palettes
Great video Angie really interesting. I always notice your nails I've never used false nails I usually keep my nails short but lately I've let them grow I can't believe how long they've got in a short time! But now picking up small items is more difficult it's so different 😂
I finally decluttered my 'makeup purgatory' drawer today. I put some items in there in january. Some I rescued, others I completely forgot about. I wanted to love the Haus Labs atomic lip lacquer so bad but I just can't. Love the foundation. Decluttered the car paint.
I have liked the duo chromes and noticed some shades are better than others. I noticed the color you wore bliss doesn't look very shifty on swatches so I passed on that one. But I've used the green one from the Korra collection and it's definitely shifty
I bought the Haus labs foundation and it looks great on me.I have dry skin and do not powder. On your recommendation I'm going to buy the Haus concealer.
I know the makeup products were frustrating to you, Angie, but you still managed to make a very funny video. Your face at the 17:03 mark is very Lucille Ball! 😂
I bought the ND concealer and cannot make it work! No matter how little I use or what powder I use it ages my under eyes 10 years. Looks great when I first apply it but not for long.
I didn't like the Juvia's Place eye primer to begin with, now I can tolerate it. I usually use the Milani one which I can apply with my finger and shadows go over it really smoothly. But the Juvia's one is much more watery and, initially I had problems with colour transferring off the lid onto my eye socket bone. In some areas it makes the shadows apply patchy. However, after trying to make it work for several weeks I've finally got the hang of it. Use a brush to apply it and apply a very tiny amount to the back of my hand and take it on the brush from there. Will I buy it again? No, it's too much effort when the Milani one is way more simple. Will I use the Juvia's one up? Yes because I spent more money on it than the Milani one costs, lol. I had high hopes for it because I love the Juvia's eyeshadow and that's what I'm mainly wearing over the primer, but it's not as easy to use and the result is not as good as others.
I do have several things I am trying to make work for me... All of them neutral eye shadow pallets :D I'm starting to think that I just straight up dislike neutrals... I like to have one cool, neutral shade in the pallet, usually for my crease, but any more and it gets to... Uninspiring and bland. I feel like I'd rather not wear any eye shadow and do eyeliner than go full neutral.
I do like the foundation myself and I TOTALLY agree about the Natasha Denona concealer. It always creases and actually looks dry too on me. Love the video! Happy Thanksgiving!
I need the second chance of the Maybelline Skin tint foundation 😂 because I am in the same dilema. Many people love it but when I used it, looks exactly as you described in the video. 😢. Thank you for this video ❤
The color of the Mario lip color's component suddenly reminded me of Propa beauty lipsticks everyone was raving about some years ago. Where did they go?! Totally off-topic, I know. And obviously, I need that Hauslabs concealer. First I need to figure out who ships Hauslabs to Finland.

I feel this way about the colourpop super shock shadows. Ive bought them in a bunch of colors and i want to love them but i just don't. Maybe it could be the way I'm applying it?
Everyone I have seen using Colourpop Multichchrome eyeshadow. Ibought a Natasha Denona Liquid Chromium duochrome. The Juvias Place in Anch ...Not surehow to spell it in English! 😂 SO the ND has a golden with a shift of pink and green us stunning and no creasing. I love them and always forget to use them so keep it on my Vanity. 😂❤😊 You did an amazing look out of things that are yucky to you.
I'm saving this video for later but wanted to ask if there's a specific eye primer you would recommend to enhance a shadow's vibrancy? I'm getting close to recreating your Lunar Beauty Siren Sunset look which as I may have mentioned a few times I'm obsessed with but the shadows aren't quite as vibrant on me and I think a lighter/whiter base would help. Thank you! ❤
I actually have seen multichrome on this colourpop shadow without light! And I think in real life people could look at you from one or other side and it's more visible!)

I think the marketing on the ColourPop multichromes is the problem, cause it’s a beautiful liquid shimmer but a multichrome it is not. If they’d have just marketed them as high intensity shimmers with a slight shift I think they might’ve had a hit on their hands but instead they set an expectation that the product couldn’t meet.
Please don’t laugh but I believe Beauty has a foundation that is spot on for the HAUS LABS Yet it’s only $5.50. Please try it. I would love to get your opinion on it. Thanks dear love your videos, appreciate and respect all your tutorials and all your opinions.
How have TH-camrs in Sweden that liked similar products to these before you moved? What if some of the products are perfect for Sweden Angie vs USA Angie ?
