    Hi, you have made many good videos but I think this is the best, superb images, the compositions were great, I will have to give it a go myself, I am basically a landscape/seascape photographer but you have wet my appetite for maybe branching out, look forward too more in due course, regards, Colin.

      Thanks Colin , I have been to London many times to photograph it just long before I started vlogging , I love cityscape stuff and London is fantastic for it such a mix of old and new, also the underground is very photogenic but they do jump on you down there lol

    Nice one Lee - lots of nice locations - I so need to pop into London again sometime soon. I guess quite a few of those shots were handheld - can imagine people coming & having a word if you set up tripods etc.. e.g inside station etc? As for that photographer plonking himself in front of you - I would have well gone & had a word with him... Anyway great vlog mate - thank you.👍

      Cheers John, some places are worse than others for tripod police! Do like to get up town love the mix of old and new architecture. Even the underground has some great architecture. They really don't like you using a proper camera let alone a tripod ! Thanks for watching mate , take care

    On a more general point, many complain a great deal about modern architecture, but there are some amazing new buildings in London along with the old. The interiors of Leadenhall Market are beautiful.

      I absolutely agree i love the skyline of London for this reason. The mix of old and new really make a fantastic iconic skyline

    Great vlog Lee. We have an office opposite the 120 Fenchurch St and we used to have one near London Bridge so these are very familiar locations! I'm surprised you got away with getting the tripod out at Moor London Place as the security guards there are right growlers! Some cracking images in this video mate, both taken on the day/night and previous. Very thoughtful of that tog to set top directly in front of you!!

    • @LeePelling
      @LeePelling  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jamie Overland thanks mate, walked for bloody miles that day with all the gear , still paying for it . I do like the whole area around the south bank, as for Moore area I think I just timed it right for the city hall tower bridge shot that's why I did not attempt the PWC building again. I do love London so I expect to return periodically. As for the other tog he never even acknowledged me , just plonked himself right in front of me and in everyone's way in the middle of the path.

    Nice vlog matey. What's with the not using the tripod in certain area's?

    • @LeePelling
      @LeePelling  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks mate, cant remember the context in which i said that but was probably due to certain areas being private land , like the hotel by the girl and the dolphin water feature, as soon as i get my tripod out the security would move me on as they say its not allowed and as its private property you cant really argue . I am always polite to them and in many cases they let you finish what your doing. Its knowing which is public and which is private land, think that's what i was referring to

    Hi Lee! Just subscribed.. resident in Margate, so many of your locations are familiar. Obviously you have some pretty sophisticated kit for the ‘statics’ but the video quality is great as well. If it’s not giving away trade secrets, what camera are you using for that? Is it a GoPro, and if so which one?

    • @LeePelling
      @LeePelling  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi David , thanks for watching and subbing its much appreciated, i use a Canon 5D mkiii for my stills and the video is produced on a Canon M50 with a gimbal . The M50 is a great little mirrorless camera and produces some nice flat footage making colour correction pretty easy.

    • @dpreeyore

      @@LeePelling Many thanks for your prompt and useful response. I'll take a look at the M50.

    It would have been more educative if your camera settings for each photo is shown

    • @LeePelling
      @LeePelling  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment but showing the settings really tells you nothing as you would not have the exact situation I was in , understanding the exposure triangle is much more beneficial and I am also not trying to educate just show where I have been and the images I captured, I have done shown the settings in many other videos. Thanks for watching
