The interrogator was a smooth operator, I was stuck on this for hours. Watched the original video prior to watching it here right afterwards. Good stuff🤙🤘

Or perhaps even produce a false confession.. people are pretty easily brainwashed ..evidence of which is very apparent right now with being 2021.

This 70 year old lady watched the entire video. I was captivated! I never think your analyses are boring. I am also fascinated with how the mind and emotions work. I love what you do! 😍
As a Canadian, I’d like to thank you so much for reaching out to Smyth and bringing him on board for an interview! That was excellent. I hope when he retires he does consider coming on board as a guest analyst. And thank you for calling your subscriber base “Panelists.” We appreciate the respect as well. Many of us have interesting backgrounds, I come from a law enforcement and national security background, with private experience in the areas of adoptee/birth parent location and missing persons. Your channel is one of the few I study regularly and I don’t think I even blink my eyes while Uber-focused on a segment. You should consider interviewing Chris Voss, who I know for certain you would already be familiar with. Thank you for such quality content!

I agree! I find the interrogation analysis videos fascinating, and I've watched this one multiple times too (and each time I watch the part with the coffee over and over--I have no idea if it was intentional, but when Willams asks if the coffee is black, and Smyth replies, "Yes...black with sugar" it's so brilliant, and I'm dying to know if it was intentional or if Smyth just considers coffee black unless it has cream in it. I like to believe it was intentional, because omg the elevating of hope, followed by the immediate retraction of it feels like such a powerful way to telegraph, "I own you"

Scott, contrary to your comment, this is not only NOT boring in the least, but my 3rd time watching this. Interrogation nerds like myself love this! Not to mention the Russel Williams interrogation is probably the most epic ever. 👍
Yep, me too. It's my 3rd time watching this special Episode. I've also been watching each of the interrogation videos till the end of the panel analyzing it twice. After finishing it, I've also watched the interview w/ the respected detective Jim Smith, too. Yeah, I have too much time on hand.
This one was a gift - thanks for listening to our requests and providing such a thorough examination! You guys are absolutely ace. P.S. Scott Rouse = Gum Daddy.
Wow this episode was so incredibly interesting. Greg, Scott and Chase in their element of interrogation- and Mark so switched on he picked up on key aspects of the interrogation. These guys seriously need their own show on Netflix! One of my favorite episodes so far. Thanks Behavior Panel!
Being Canadian, an ex army brat and a woman from Southern Ontario this was an emotional one for me. Thank you to DS Smyth and interrogators like yourselves who bring their skills to bear on the worst of humanity. Absolutely loved that Williams did not want to be a "Bernardo". Expletive not written here. This was the best video yet so Scott, you need to have more faith in your audience panel. Keep up the great work.
Scott: "no one is going to watch this anyway" Panelists: *watches in rapt attention* Really enjoyed this one guys. Heck I was anxious for him just watching it when they really nailed him down.
Can I just say, I love how Greg has his copy of everyone's books on display on his bookshelf. It's such a show of solidarity and support. Bloody love these guys!
This has to be my favorite episode to date. There's something very attractive about watching people who are very passionate about what they do. I love you guys so much! 💗
This still upsets me. I'm Canadian and all the men in my family were in the military. I live in a former military house and every time I step into my basement I still think of this horror of a human being and the suffering he inflicted upon these women. What they must have thought in their final moments, looking into the face of this person they knew and should have been able to trust, it makes my blood boil and my heart break at the same time.
Boring?! The Behavior Panel is never boring. This was fascinating! I hope you're able to have Jim Smyth as a guest. Would love to know what he was thinking as this confession was unfolding.
Hello from Romania. I discovered you recently, and now I'm worried that after at least 30 episodes seen here,,, in the last week,,, I became addicted. I'm 50 years old,, and as a woman I can tell you that chemistry between 4 professional men and the brilliant humor of the situation,,,I tell myself,,,there is still hope in the world!!! You are brilliant, men!😊😘
I know you guys are always concerned about making your videos “too long” in case we lose interest BUT us TRUE Behaviour Panel fans could listen to you analyse and break down people’s body language for hours and hours. If I saw a 6 hour video I’d give a big “HELL YEA” and get my snacks ready. No video is too long with you guys 🥰 Thanks for your hard work! Love from London 😘
😂 I always thought they like to make it short cause they are busy and can’t spend more time on videos. Regardless that is absolutely me! Snacks and “HELL YEA”😁 When i came across the channel, first I started to watch all 1+ hours videos, because why not! I can listen to them forever. It’s fascinating!
No one is watching this? I binged it last night. It was great seeing all four of you being fans of DS Smyth! I hope you all get to meet him and share your discussion with us.
If there is an equally compelling and expertly conducted interrogation, we all want to know about it. Expertly and passionately, capturing monsters makes Jim Smyth a true hero. My personal thanks.
I live very close to the Trenton Ontario air base that (former) Colonel Russell Williams was the commander of. This was a huge shock to the citizens of Trenton and the surrounding area and I just want to give a thank you to interrogator Jim Smyth for the excellent job he did. Now on to this video... :)
Two hours+ of you guys geeking out? HAND IT OVER. We love to see it! Nerd out as much as you like. A great amount of us are here to learn, sure. But we can still learn while you're all having a good time and seeing you guys really get into it like this, is incredible.
"He starts out doing something REALLY dumb--chewing gum" The expression on Scott's face as he slowly turns and spits out his gum @7:39 is just priceless! I spewed coffee on my keyboard, LOL.
Hello everyone. Thanks for all the positive comments. I am retired from policing and teaching privately now. If you need modern science-based investigative interview training, Let's talk!
Glad to see you popped in, after watching the interrogation and knowing it was within a week of the “disappearance “ I was very impressed with how fast the Canadians ran with the fact that they matched the tires, then 24 hour surveillance immediately. Congratulations again.
One of my very favorite interviews ever Jim Smyth !!! Your quiet powerful disposition as you interrogate and take down colonel Russell Williams is masterful! Thank you Sir…
I enjoyed this. I like these better than the celebrity /current events ones frankly. Dude stared at that print of the shoes like he hoped it would just swallow him up and take him away, hahah. Incredible patience to deal with that. Thanks this was fun
Had to watch the rest of this interview because the BP finished just shy of Williams actually confessing. OMG I am sick to my stomach. He is a predatorial monster and I have no idea how Jim Smyth managed to calmly sit with him for so many hours while he spewed up the details of his heinous crimes against these poor women. I couldn't keep watching. It is absolutely awful. This detective deserves a National award for this case alone.
The interrogation slip up was “we’re applying”, the corrects to “the investigators are applying” for a warrant... love watching your stuff, so fascinating!

"Noone's gonna watch this anyway"
Meanwhile, everyone is blanket-to-chin laser focused haha.
I hate that you guys keep apologizing for geeking out. There is nothing better than watching someone who loves something explain it. It's the best.
Scott, none of us think this is boring at all! We’re geeking out right along with you guys. Masterful!
Definitely, loved this!
Scott underestimates us
Still watching?! It could have been 5 hours and we'd still watch!!!
Leslie. I agree!
Every time Scott talks about chew rate, Mark and Chase smile.
"The bigger it is, the thunkier it is; the more power that thing has in it" - Scott Rouse, 2021
Scott: "no one is going to watch this anyway"
Panelists: *watches in rapt attention*
Really enjoyed this one guys.
I'm with you, Joey. There is so much evil in the world. Be proud to be Canadian. I love Canada and her wonderful people!
Aww 😊cute little fuzzy mouse eating popcorn 🍿🐀
It’s like a priest. Not only violating the individual, violating the community
@@Udontsay948 This. I couldn't put my finger on it, but absolutely this.
This feels like a class I should have paid thousands of dollars for, but yet its free on TH-cam. Love you guys
You are brilliant, men!😊😘
That is so nice of you to say all of that. Thank you so much. ❤️🙂 - Scott
It's so funny to see so many people think the way that I do! Soo excited this video is over 2 hours. BP binge junkies unite!! 🤣❤
No video is too long with you guys 🥰
Thanks for your hard work! Love from London 😘
snacks...thats me lol
U know know that's right
😂 I always thought they like to make it short cause they are busy and can’t spend more time on videos.
Regardless that is absolutely me! Snacks and “HELL YEA”😁
When i came across the channel, first I started to watch all 1+ hours videos, because why not! I can listen to them forever. It’s fascinating!
Wow, two and a half hours! Thank you so much guys! 😊

When Greg said "hey scum bag sit down" I dropped to the sofa and confessed to eating the last kitkat
😥😉😉😉😉
I laughed more than i should at this comment! :-D
😅😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@NajwyzszaKaplanka we all felt seen.
😂😂😂
😂
By the way, I appreciate your method of always showing the video a second time after you've analyzed it. Very educational. Thanks so much.
I agree - give us more
Definitely not the detective that interviewed Nicole Kensington from the watts case.. it was horrid
I live very close to the Trenton Ontario air base that (former) Colonel Russell Williams was the commander of. This was a huge shock to the citizens of Trenton and the surrounding area and I just want to give a thank you to interrogator Jim Smyth for the excellent job he did. Now on to this video... :)
I could sit through the rest of this interview with you guys! Canadian girl here and appreciate Mark being our ambassador. :)
Gentlemen, this was one of your best. Not boring, not geeky... please do one of these every few months... A great extended listen.
I both learn stuff and am entertained by The Behaviour Panel. Two things that are good for my mental health.
Two hours+ of you guys geeking out? HAND IT OVER. We love to see it! Nerd out as much as you like. A great amount of us are here to learn, sure. But we can still learn while you're all having a good time and seeing you guys really get into it like this, is incredible.
Yes! This is one of my favourite interrogations ever. Cant wait to see the behaviour panel's view
I haven't seen it before!! I got my behavior panel mug today so I'm ready!! 👌👌☺️
@@MsTammi125 No way! Ooooh you'll love it. Jim Smith is the best. Put some wine in your mug 😂 and enjoy 💖
This is a masterclass in interrogation techniques.
The power of leading questions about locations + a skilled interrogator is amazing.
Nothing boring about this one fellas.
The more you guys get into it the more entertaining it is for us. Another great episode. Thank you
"He starts out doing something REALLY dumb--chewing gum" The expression on Scott's face as he slowly turns and spits out his gum @7:39 is just priceless! I spewed coffee on my keyboard, LOL.
LOL. He did that in a few videos back to back. I kept looking for the ceremonial gum spit every video!! Always gave me a good chuckle!
I felt attacked 😆 Scott and I have the same bad habit.
Had to go back and watch that ! Lol thanks !
Same here! That was hilarious!
😂😂 Love it! I was engrossed by Greg and totally missed this! Thanks for the pointer and time stamp 🤗
I would love to see more interrogation breakdowns. This is absolutely fascinating. Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge with us all.
Merci Monsieur votre interrogatoire est un master pièce !
Vous avez rendu justice aux victimes
This boots….I wil never forget
One of my very favorite interviews ever Jim Smyth !!! Your quiet powerful disposition as you interrogate and take down colonel Russell Williams is masterful! Thank you Sir…
What a legend! And thank you for continuing to share your incredible insights through your teaching.
Fabulous job! You made that look easy.
I enjoyed this. I like these better than the celebrity /current events ones frankly. Dude stared at that print of the shoes like he hoped it would just swallow him up and take him away, hahah. Incredible patience to deal with that. Thanks this was fun
Whoa. This was great! Four boys with a bag of candy. I felt your military respect was very touching.
I read this with Mark’s accent and I have no idea why.
He starts off as Colonel Williams and ends up as Russ, love it! Best episode yet guys, tysvm!!! 😁👍
As Mark pointed out, he was reduced to "call me Russ PLEASE"
Had to watch the rest of this interview because the BP finished just shy of Williams actually confessing. OMG I am sick to my stomach. He is a predatorial monster and I have no idea how Jim Smyth managed to calmly sit with him for so many hours while he spewed up the details of his heinous crimes against these poor women. I couldn't keep watching. It is absolutely awful. This detective deserves a National award for this case alone.
I find this very fascinating. Not boring at all.
I laughed my arse off when Greg said it was dumb that the colonel was chewing gum, then Scott spit out his gum 🤣🤣🤣
I loved Gregg saying his silence was all the dumb ideas running around in his head and getting rejected lol
me too
That was so funny! I went back to the beginning so I could watch that. Lol that's too funny
Time spamo please. 😂
Scott doesn't spit. He LAUNCHES (as another panelist here so eloquently stated)😁
Scott: "No one's gonna watch this anyway."
Panelists: 75,000 views
PS. I watched ALL of it!
A week later, over 115k views!
LOL
I love how Greg always giggles at Scott’s jokes;)😊
The interrogation slip up was “we’re applying”, the corrects to “the investigators are applying” for a warrant... love watching your stuff, so fascinating!
I would love if you guys could bring on Jim Smyth on the Show one week!
A two and a half hour Behavioral Panel video. 👏🏼
On Col. Russel Williams. 👏🏼
*squeals with happiness*
Scott: nobody's gonna watch this anyway
Me: watches and enjoys it
Me later: watches it again and takes notes
I am so glad it isn’t just me 🙌🏼
🤣😂 yup!!!
Yep! Maybe a 3rd time. Best one yet!
Me too lol
Me as well.
