On a different note, I get the birthday blues too, but I've discovered a solution:
1) Quit counting. I keep my age on a sticky note on my computer / phone in case I need to remember it. Otherwise, I try to forget it. Age isn't important unless you are a cheese.
2) Take yourself shopping and treat yourself to things you've wanted for a while but didn't get for whatever reason.
This approach makes me look forward to my birthdays!

Rachel u r doing exactly what a red ant would do. If u have a vision about the type of medicine u want to practice just keep going in that direction. Do what u need to do but never second guess whether u r qualified enough. Ur still learning. Find every Sub I in ur chosen field and apply. In my 5 years of nursing training we specialized. I hit every SI I could find related to OB. It was a great choice. However, 5 years in I found I was more excited about emergency medicine so I began again. Spent 31 years in trauma and never regretted one sec. I would say stay focused but ur doing that. Ur self discipline is on point and that will be what takes u were u want to go. March on red ant. Ur amazing. Oh and happy belated birthday 🎂

Someday when you have nothing better to do, suggest learning how to make your bed without wrinkles and sharp hospital corners. If the sheets are hotel quality, might as well go the extra step for the bed to look hotel quality. It's not hard to do. Next time you stay at a nice hotel just ask housekeeping to teach how it's done.

I feel like giving up with math!!!!!🙈 any suggestions for me? I’m not happy with the instructor so that dosent help. Happy Birthday Rachael, don’t mean to b a downer but I’m venting.
Just keep practicing you might eventually come to like it. I remember when I was in highskul when I was almost done with school. I used to tail in my class. Would score 1% if I did good a would score 10%. My mom got worried she approached my teacher and asked her to help Me out. So the teacher used to give me 10 questions everyday to work on and I would just go and copy and submit 😅😅😅😅. The next test she made sure to include the questions I got right in the assessments and I failed terribly 🙃. I had a private meeting with my self and asked my self what could be the problem. If someone can score 90%, why can't I. I came to realize the problem was me . I had locked my brain and had the perception that maths was hard, not my thing. So I had to open my brain and get rid of that mentality that maths is not meant for me. I started practicing next test I scored 20% and the teacher congratulated me, the next one I scored a 28% , it took me some tests to get to 40%. When the final exam came I managed to score 65% in maths and it was a boost to my grade. I got accepted in a college to do orthopedic and trauma medicine 🙂
