You know, you could have fooled me that you were excited. Totally can’t tell. Good to see the joy burst out getting closer and closer to your dreams. I wish you were my family or my kid so I could be more proud of you. However, I am judging your food selections (not really tho, can only be so superhuman). If it’s cool I’ll also add that your home looks lovely. So clean. Such nice color contrasts. I think it’s true that you can’t really be overprepared, especially if it helps you reduce any stresses that make you less functional. If it works, it works and if it works for you it’s good advice for others. All the luck, joy and success to anyone on their path.

The amount of time you said "excited" got me excited as well. I've never seen anyone this excited about a rotation. OBGYN is your calling and you're going to be an amazing doctor. Her excitement makes me excited! I literally started my second year of medical school yesterday and geez is it a lot of work, but when I see how excited Rachel is it makes it all worth it.

Your comment about doing a 10 question set instead of a 40 is how I’m trying to approach MCAT studying. There are days where I don’t or can’t do hours of prep, but maybe I can do ten minutes of cards, or one passage, or a few discrete questions.

Literally just started my OBG rotation yesterday, also super keen, also happened to have bought a purple notebook and also studied the uterine ligaments ahaha hope you have the best time, love your videos!

Rice cooker is the way to go, so easy and quick.
I do enjoyed it!!!! Interesting!
How to make rice:
1 cup of rice
1 cup of water
Pour both in a pot with a lid. Bring to a boil. Turn heat way way down. Do not stir! Cook for 18 mins. Optional: wash rice before cooking. Rinse several times until water isnt murky.
Eat. Enjoy!

Don’t be scared! All we hear are negative birth stories…I showed up to the hospital almost 7cm I never had “contractions” just constant cramping barely made it to the epidural was almost to late, which did not hurt at all by the way…I did not find the experience painful really not like what they talk about. I had almost a 3rd degree tear and took Tylenol maybe once after she was born never really had pain afterwards it felt good to have all the pressure of the baby off all my organs/pelvis. It was the best experience of my life! I was terrified of labor before. The hospital I was at was so good to us. Good luck to you!
