And while coffee is good for many you surely know it can trigger arrhythmias, some of which can be lethal.

Dr. Wolfson, i'm loving your lectures, but i wonder if you're aware of Dr. Esselstyn's approach to heart disease, which has the best success rate than anything else i have seen. Thank you !

After watching this video, I saw another video by another cardiologist who puts oats among the top five things to eat for cardiovascular health.
It can't be both at once, can it?
I appreciate that doctors are artists, not scientists.

Very true. I'd be tempted to say they're more akin to wizards. We ignore the fact that science and magic are closely linked-the "scientific method" developed out of what we would now regard as sorcery.

I have to respectfully disagree about asprin. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I have averted a heart attack on at least two occasions by taking asprin. I came very close to calling 911 but didn't have too because of that wonderful drug! The good news about heart disease is it can be reversed with diet, exercise, stress management, supplements and medicine if needed. It's not a death sentence, Thank God!🙏

Well that is because, it is also part of the tax for one suspected of having MI. This tells me, you already have heart disease.

Carbs are sugar. Choose your carbs carefully. Plaque, pain, heart disease is caused by inflammation. Avoid things that cause inflammation sugar.

YES. YES YES I GET TO SAVE THIS ONE YES...many didn't believe me when I told them these things.. Well, I didn't know that vitamin D did all that. Yayy.. I keep an eye on my levels and live in South Africa.. So that helps a LOT.
I am a self taught health reformer, studied how the body works well, how to change our diets well, the 8 laws of health well.. Studied them WELL, A whole food diet and the 8 laws of health.. No one will die of disease and or cancers.. Some agressive cancers may be to late etc early stages can be reversed by the 8 laws of health... Anyways.. I am so happy he says the aspirin is a joke.. Cause it is. Use cayenne instead IF you need it. Anyone with heart problems should take it.. ❤

I have read that about 80% of people have Vit D deficiency - even when I was about 30, I had a blood test and my Vit D level was 3 ! And I live in Florida ! I take 5000 units of D3 along with 100 mcg of K2 - it’s in one gelcap - and my Vit D is usually in the high 50’s, which still isn’t all that high - the K2, I’ve read, helps the D3 absorb better and also directs calcium into your bones & not your arteries - I’m no expert, it’s just what seems to be working for me

I stopped eating eggs and drinking coffee and my arrhythmia it gone away ,now I’m eating lots of organic oatmeal and clean food , chicory, root coffee, and I’m healthy ! Thank you Jesus

I think cutting down on caffeine (only one cup of tea in the morning) has really helped my heartbeat slow down and not skip beats so much. The chicory coffee substitute is so much healthier and tastes great! I wish my cardiologist and other docs would have suggested to cut the caffeine.... took me 6 months to figure it out myself. Glad you got your arrhythmia under control!

No to oatmeal and an admonishment of low fat diets, but yes to bacon? Seems contradictory to me.
It's also not true that genetics are not the cause behind some of our diseases. Cardiomyopathy, for instance.
