@@HamzaFaruqui from what I learnt from Initial D a drift would have a period of intial understeer followed by an oversteer as you exit the corner....a power slide is kinda when you lose the back-end grip of the car

@@sirishch yes heel and toe please... I learnt to how blip and downshift on my own and left foot braking.. Cannot progress further onto to heel and toe :(
I am 100% obsessed with drifting/sliding my Diesel Altroz using handbrake in shopping mall parking lots, as they have a nice slippery smooth surface, I know it's really fun even if its not an actual drift 😍
Only comment I'd add from my experience of power sliding a FWD is - when you start sliding, don't lift your right foot off the pedal all the way - it will make it look like the car power slides into a stop, and then starts going straight again. But if you have the throttle going while you slide, it will look more like drifting an RWD. It will be a bit more tricky to control the nose of the car, you need a bit of reverse locking of the steering too. If the front wheels are spinning while you are sliding, it gives that drift feel.
use it whenever you think the engine will stall. Normally with fwd cars, using the throttle will end the drift. So when sliding, use the clutch to prevent the engine from shutting off
This is the new one. Much improved over the previous gen. Hyundai is also trying to create an enthusiast image with their N-line outside India. So it's possible.
Next should be a tutorial on 360° drift...I remember doing it with Maruti Suzuki Esteem. Doing it with a sedan was so thrilling, I am not sure if that can match with a hatch.

Yes, handbrakes are for the rear wheels. The front brake, however, brakes all the wheels with brake biases according to the manufacturers. Generally it's 60:40
Amateurs lol. To do it smoothly, you need a manual or at least an AMT to downshift at the end of slide to power out of it. Instead of yanking the handbrake, you should be better off showing scandinavian flicks with throttle liftoff. Spamming the handbrake will wear out your cable faster. Also, Using throttle when sliding will end your slide and straighten your.
Great content 👍 Thank you Evo India ♥️ P.S. - I'm curious, is this a 'Hyundai only' channel now? Cause I rarely see any other brands on this channel recently.

Well...it's very hard but you can get it to oversteer depending on the tires and car. There are FF cars that like to rotate. Lift off oversteer is also a thing in FF cars. But yeah, the word "drift" is just not suitable here.
Does dumping the clutch also helps in getting a car to slide? Cuz i do 3 things 1. Turn the steering 2. Dump the clutch 3.pull the handbrake all simultaneously. I have a polo
I've a tip to share sometimes if there is a near 90 degree turn suppose on the left side of the road ,go fast turn slightly right then turn aggressively left looking towards the left corner leave the throttle while turning slightly right and when you turn aggressively left the car will automatically slide and when the car overslides press the throttle full this is more efficient than handbrake drifting as you don't need slow down Note :i bursted a rear tyre while doing this Dont try the trick on a tata car they understeer too much
