As a self confessed metal head this isn't usually my cup of tea but I appreciate any music that's made with love and made to a high standard. This is great! Nice work both 🤘🤘
Try to not think inside of boxes. Identifying yourself with a group can be great but you should never force yourself to like or dislike songs based on their genre. That's a mistake I often see x genre heads and especially metal heads do.
Exactly. I usually only play and listen to Metal 🤘 - Both Mary and RKC are creating a sound that just captivates me, and I just can't stop listening to their music now.
Rachel is an amazing producer, and she really gets your lyrics... I love the remix as much as the original track... Which is the true test of a remix: can it stand alongside the original and yet stand on it's own...and in this case the answer is obviously YES.
I got to thinking about Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl", naturally. If she looked anything like Mary, you can understand why he was so sad about losing her. Heck, they even had Tuesdays together (check the lyrics)!
I like how much passion you each brought to the song. I like both versions, and can see how each can open up an audience for you. Thanks to Mary for such a good video, and thanks to Rachel for showing us how a song can get remixed.
That remix is DOPE!!! I love the various treatments she gave to your vocals, and the way she switched up the arrangement. Amazing stuff! This is going to the playlist!
Perfect start for a new mini-serie. How far musically can you go using the same song and vocal. A jazz version, a rock version, a ? version. A journey in musical creativity. 👍
It’s one of those things where like you see you in an alternate reality of what you could have become what you could be. Like a cross roads placed in front of you. Choose wisely
I'm not a fan of electronic music but I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Two extremely talented young ladies. I'd like your friend Leo to try this collaboration. That would be wild.
1:52 Yeah, we all did that face. The percussions gave me a The Knife vibe. Big thumbs up from someone who doesn't necessarily like electronic music that much.
Great way to start the new year!!!!! Like David H. not my normal cup of tea, but a different & pleasing change of pace.... Congrats to Rachels remix and your stunning vocals! I Hope you work with her again! Mahalo & Aloha
I'm not into electronically produced music, but this was really cool! With your musical talent, Mary, and her producing skills, I think it made for a great track!👍😎🎸🎶
That's just crazy good! I heard the original, and I really like what Rachel has done on the remix.😁 We're going to have to start calling you Mary 'Gorillaz' Spender here pretty soon. (ever heard of them? They were a 'psuedo-group' that was on MTV some years ago). Anyway, shout out to Rachel for her expertise, and the reaction when you first listened to it! That was worth the whole video!😍😁👍👍
I had to go and listen to your original (Official Video) to understand the changes Rachel implemented. I like both versions, but the remix seems like it has more commercial potential re dance clubs and video production. Cool song, nice work!
absolute fire! I also use Arturia V, as well as NI Kontakt, and lately ive fallen in love with the V collection, and pretty much use that with some Vox fx. I totally dig this, and I think you should totally consider moving to EDM, and produce some house , and future house tracks, your voice is perfect with that genre, in my humble opinion. gorgeous tones emanating from your vocal pipes! more please!
Wow! That was really cool! I have been following you since you did a song with Leo, so this is not my usual genre of music i listen to, but you continue to impress and inspire me constantly with everything you do! Nice work!
I only recently started following you so i don’t know the original...i think you’ve got an awsome voice and Rachel made a verry good remix...keep up the great work you do...really enjoying it👌🏽
Wwhat was That! 🤯 Mary's laughs at the punch moments 💗😂 and two female superheroes, aww now I want so badly that masterclass Listened again 5 days after: ok I feel strong about this one, it's WILD , I just keep loving it! :D

Please, please, make it awailable on spotify. This song is awesome
She did a fantastic job. I'll be waiting for the collab disc with 10 different producers doing your songs.
I need you to make a whole album of this kind of music. Your voice fits it perfectly.
She knock it out of the park. I can see this competing with any top artist now days. Sounds incredible 👍👍
Rachel is an amazing producer, and she really gets your lyrics... I love the remix as much as the original track... Which is the true test of a remix: can it stand alongside the original and yet stand on it's own...and in this case the answer is obviously YES.
Okay my guitarist prejudice is missing the riffs but, that chorus is proper epic!
What a great duo. Mary is a great singer-songwriter and Rachel is such a talented producer. This is so freaking cool.
Loved it!!!! Rachel K Collier is an amazing producer!!!!
I love the ring light reflection in your eyes! Awesome!!
I got to thinking about Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl", naturally. If she looked anything like Mary, you can understand why he was so sad about losing her. Heck, they even had Tuesdays together (check the lyrics)!
Being an 'old', I didn't expect to like this much, but DAMN!!! Really highlights Mary's voice.
Wonderfull. That is what happens when two talented people get together.
Very cool how she arranged your guitars in the mix-- she's showcasing your voice too, which you sooooo deserve, you have a great pop voice!!
You looked like you were on the verge of tears listening to it. I don't blame you. Awesome!
Kinda 80s synthrock/dance vibe. I dig it. Puts a much bigger focus on your vocals.
The vocals are freaking magical! Yeah, Rachel knows her sh*t... this is awesome!
I like how much passion you each brought to the song. I like both versions, and can see how each can open up an audience for you. Thanks to Mary for such a good video, and thanks to Rachel for showing us how a song can get remixed.
She did an amazing job. This took your song to another level. Love it. Rachel is quite talented!
I want to hear Mary Spender with Sungazer cover this live
The look on your face ...while you were listening to it..you almost made me freekin cry!!! It was a beautiful moment
That remix is DOPE!!! I love the various treatments she gave to your vocals, and the way she switched up the arrangement. Amazing stuff! This is going to the playlist!
Rachel K is ridiculous at what she does, and that remix slaps insanely hard. The world benefits from your friendship.
She knocked this out the park!!! this is an awesome remix....made a whole other vibe out of it.I like it....alot!
She's getting to become a pop star or maybe she is, just the world hasn't realised yet. Great job, keep on walking on the road Mary.
Dude! You have to do whole album of her remixing your songs. I'm not normally into electronic music, but that sounded amazing
Immaculate... Rooftop Lounge! ...Love it!
OMG!! Mary..., that is Gold! yes... yes. And thank you Rachel... pure genius!
Absolutely awesome! Shows what a great songwriter and vocalist you are, and I can so see the two of you doing this live on Graham Norton.
My big surprise how your voice match so well with electronic music. Great!
This is amazing! All the cool kids in London will be dancing to this.
RKC is a killing machine.. Thx for that great song MS.. much love
Thank you Leo for introducing us to you. My wife and I love you.
If ever a Mary Spender song needed a music video, THIS IS IT. Holy hell! Smoking remix!
This is awesome! I really enjoyed watching your reaction to hearing it. Wishing you so much luck. I love your voice.
Excellent. Embelished an already good song. Great team effort Bristol & Rachel from the other side of the SEVERN BRIDGE!
Pretty amazing to me how a remix can totally change the sound of a song. This song is no exception. I like it!
My goodness, she is REALLY good. And of course, so are you Mary!
Great remix.....love the pulse and the push n pull on the rythm..... brilliant!
Something special. Send Rachel all your stuff. Really enjoy both versions and I WANT MORE !
Her production is fantastic
A great clip. Both of you are quite passionate in your work. Great imaginative rearrangement. Very impressed with you both. Kudos to you both!
Okay, that was pretty cool. I'd love to hear your version with a full arrangement behind it.
A great artist, and a great producer. This is one of those more inspiring video. Well done!
mad beat and that phasing of vocal is insane, up-rated speed for the win too. truly great remix.
I'm not sure when the first time I heard this collaboration - but I keep coming back, it's simply jaw dropping
I'm not a fan of electronic music but I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Two extremely talented young ladies. I'd like your friend Leo to try this collaboration. That would be wild.
Sounds like a modernised collaboration between Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel. Superb
Right on the head of the nail.
AWESOME! Rachel is a fucking genius! Love your reaction, Mary!!
sorry about the swearing
1:52 Yeah, we all did that face. The percussions gave me a The Knife vibe. Big thumbs up from someone who doesn't necessarily like electronic music that much.
I've felt for a while now that you need to team up with a great producer to take you to the next level. Loved it.
Come across from your 365 clip.....
Why have I not heard this before?
That's flipping stunning!
I prefer your original single version because it is so immersive and blends with your vocals so well.
Great way to start the new year!!!!! Like David H. not my normal cup of tea, but a different & pleasing change of pace.... Congrats to Rachels remix and your stunning vocals! I Hope you work with her again! Mahalo & Aloha
That's really very awesome. Kinda reminds me of some of Moogs work from "mighty car mods" with maybe 1 or 2 tracks missing. Its very very close.
Already a cool song, expertly remixed into another wonderful track. Well done both of you. Liked and shared.
Like your eyes in the flash and the RHCP influence i can hear in your music!
Would love to see it on Andrew Huang's "four producers flip the same sample"
same thought crossed my mind!
Yes!
That would be pretty cool
doesn't need to happen cause nobody is gonna top this.
I'm not into electronically produced music, but this was really cool! With your musical talent, Mary, and her producing skills, I think it made for a great track!👍😎🎸🎶
Wow! Just absolutely transformative! The power of collaboration right there... so very very good :-)
Reminds me of The The, only tighter. Nice work, both of ya! Your voice is gorgeous.
That's just crazy good! I heard the original, and I really like what Rachel has done on the remix.😁 We're going to have to start calling you Mary 'Gorillaz' Spender here pretty soon. I can't believe i just found this i liked the original but WOW you and her should do more work together!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was STELLAR! Only wished she left some of the guitars in there, too...but I'd be shocked if that's not playing in clubs all over the UK!
The best thing that could come out of this is that Mary goes on a batshit experimental rampage. She would be on FIRE
HOLY HOLY CRAP....THAT IS BEYOND AWESOME...GOUNG ON HIGH ROTATION!!!!!!--
Very flattering to have a electronic mix to your work.
Two extremely talented artistes; very nicely done!
The sum of the parts is greater than the whole... Sounds amazing!
Incredible version ! Please perform another songs with Rachel… Its another view of your work, very exciting!
This is pretty sick. The sound is absolutely huge. Goosebump worthy!
I cannot mention the beauty of your hair as well as the nice playing guitar technique ;) brava
i'd like to hear more from you two working together!
You girls are soooooo incredible and creative ! Luv your work both 👌
I had to go and listen to your original (Official Video) to understand the changes Rachel implemented. I like both versions, but the remix seems like it has more commercial potential re dance clubs and video production. Cool song, nice work!
This is AMAZING. Also, explains why us old school analog get Soooo overwhelmed by all this tech/EDM stuff. Collaboration Rules!
Hi Mary. Love it,love yours and Rachel's music.. I can only hope for more future colabs.. :)
Thank you and all the best Mary x

Great remix! Could be the next big radio hit.
That was HOT! Though I am LATE to the party. LOL. Nice remix Mary and EProducer!
