God DAMN Flux killed it. But mad props to Andrew’s flip for being able to follow that! I feel like such a proud parent seeing all of the incredible artists this series gets
This is probably one of my fave episodes of this series. Laura’s was so dreamy and orchestral, I love the Wii controller use too. Recue’s use of the sample stayed true to the essence of the series and it was so cool seeing what he did with the limits he set upon himself. Flux’s was stellar, I think Andrew had it right when he said “James Bond in the year 3000”. The sample itself was amazing alone. I found myself singing “I cannot hold” like I was in a Cheetos commercial or something. Mr. Lidell’s personality was also very infectious with his good vibes. Andrew was Andrew. Amazing. Funky. Sexcellent. Andrew.

This has to be the best 4P episode i've seen. The way each producer flipped the vocal is totally unique to their style, and what they accompanied it with is all amazing. Killer work everyone involved
Love how Jamie Lidell is pumped up for every rendition of his story. You don't see this camaraderie and appreciation in many other creative fields, other than music industry. Lovely to see such support and acknowledgement, even when they completely "butcher" your beautiful voice into pieces. Loved every single one of the tracks.
That flux pavilion breakdown was a revelation. I've always known flux for having some of the lushest textures around: massive, swelling synth chords. Finding out that all of that is just a bunch of very meh sounds but layered very heavily was very mind bending
