  • In this video I show you how you can easily extend your golf clubs at home with the minimal amount of tools, which will only cost you around £5 / $5. I go through each step of the process which will take around 5 minutes to do even for anyone that wouldn't even know where to start.

Comes with a mixing stick.. doesn’t use mixing stick. Lol. Any epoxy outside of the insert is unnecessary, a cleaner result would be to not allow any epoxy to seep outside of the extension. You should lightly coat the epoxy inside the original shaft, you should scuff the extension with sandpaper(the part going inside the other club) and then apply some epoxy on the extension, taping it off at the line allows for a cleaner install. I’m not at all saying this way is wrong, but there’s a more effective way of doing it and I think the final product would be more reliable and closer to factory. Cool video either way, not sure how I ended up here. Cheers.

Good video. I'd suggest to rough up the outer part of the extension with a file, and the inside part of the shaft so that the epoxy has a better chance of a complete bond. Also mix the epoxy well before applying it.

Good explanation, although I would let the extension dry/cure before putting the grip on, just to make sure it’s properly in place, and the epoxy mix hardened correctly.

Some advice - 1. fully mix the epoxy before applying it to the shaft. 2. rough up both surfaces so the shaft inside and extension for better adhesion. 3. Don't put the grip on until the epoxy cures. You can make sure the extension in the right place before you re-grip, but more importantly the solvent you use to add the grip can effect the epoxy ability to cure.
