I think people need to back off the police and cut them a break. They are doing the best they can with what they have and are given. I heard a cop say today that it takes around a month to get most results back from labs after testing the forensic evidence and it’s just a month now. I mean if they have the killers DNA but he’s not in the database there’s not much they can do other than wait for all of the test results to come back and hope that a tip or video gives them something to per-Sue. They are only human.
@@RawOlympia yes and I also believe the cops have a lot more than they can tell us. I mean Kylie’s dad in his shock and grief is saying things to the media that he shouldn’t be and I believe the cops can’t risk having something important put out there. Right now as far as this animal knows they are at a dead end. If they say they have something and are close to an arrest the psycho could flee if he’s not already and destroy their chance to get him. They need to play their cards right with something as serious as this case.
Yes! People have bo idea what they are even saying! 100s of kids have been in and out of there and left hair and fibers soil gravel body fluids then they gotta identify and tack down the people that left it. That’s why the governor gave extra million to them, the man hours and special resources needed are astronomical and that little PD budget or even the states budget can’t handle it all. These guys will get who did this. People need to let them do their jobs.
This is a clear case where the police pretty much know who did it, but they just don’t have that extra pinch or punch they need to confidently “seal the deal” or, “push it over the top”. This explains why they are playing so many things so close to the chest, but still straining for every little single angle that could be the tipping point! It is so important in cases like this for people not to “MEDDLE” around or divulge certain info. LE may be waiting for certain things to happen or watching for somebody to do a certain act or whatever. I understand the victims family are in pain, but, doing or saying certain things can actually cost the entire case sometimes! Trust me, LE has most likely been told by the DA that “we need more!” Remember, they only get ONE crack at the offender, so in this case, they need, a solid case! They can’t pull trigger on what could be “just enough” for 4 murders like this. The perp CAN’T be tried again if they miss! This is only my Retired LE opinion!
the occupant of the car still didnt come forward? how odd.. is it someone who doesn't keep up with the news? no socials? someone who was in the area doing something illegal like drug dealing or meeting up with underage girlfriend?
and you know that the killer would be coverd in blood from killing them 4 people and he gets in the car their be blood inside the car who would have get rid of the clothes burn them wash him self go to the store and get bleach and bleach him self down to get rid of the small traces of blood and also clean the car
Couple reasons. They could be accomplices. If they weren’t involved, they could be nervous about coming forward in a high profile investigation that’s desperate for suspects. If you truly did nothing wrong, you’re not necessarily obligated to come forward.
Imagine coming forward at this time with the internet crazies accusing everyone of being the murderer. They are accusing people who are cooperating with the investigation, people cleared through DNA evidence, even family members. I certainly wouldn't come forward.
So glad to see continuous coverage on various media. I really hope this doesn't on for years like Delphi or worse, a cold case like the Austin Yogurt Shop murders.
The FBI knows who the killer is for the Austin Yogurt Shop murders via genealogy. They are refusing to turn over results to the State Prosecutors and the victims families.
My opinion only. I think four weeks is not along time for to investigate the murder of four people, unless the murderer or murderers were dressed like astronauts there will be some evidence found, clothes had to be changed before leaving the scene, if it's more than one ,someone will slip up.i believe they all knew each other.lets all say a prayer for this to be solved, RIP students,
I ❤️ respect an have so much appreciation for Brian Entin and his work ethic in the cases he has covered for the nation and he retains his respect an appropriate way to get the stories from the families law enforcement agencies and other people an organizations that said The World Could Use More People with Values,Understanding and Obvious Care
Brian Entin stayed on top of the Gaby Pettito case and the critical moment of discovery of her body was due to the reporting journalists and you tubers! Thanks Brian for your dedicated reporting!
Well its not social media influences jobs to tell the world about something like that! The family should be notified first! My dad passed of a overdose in July and I found out from social media! The police were working on getting ahold of me but it went to social media first! That's not right!

Wouldn't u think the tw0 that are alive would have called 911 first cause someone could have still been around. Why wait hours unless they knew something
Footage of the persons running looks creepy for sure. But hard to tell what was the reason. But it could just be 4 more drinking teens who seen the police and decided to make a break for it.
Nobody called the police about the students drunk in the field I'm pretty sure the cop was just driving by and seen them stumbling around and he pulled over and yelled for them all to come over to him.

@@merindasmith1840 i’m interested to know because if someone made a call about some underage drinkers, that just goes to show there was someone else in that area who was awake at the time and wondering why they didn’t hear the murders take place.
For everyone commenting about how 4 people were killed without waking others etc. Apparently you guys have not drank enough alcohol to put you into a deep sleep. All four of the murder victims had been partying and drinking that night. They were all asleep under the influence and you sleep a lot harder and most sounds would not awake you and if they were stabbed in a deep sleep they would only react momentarily in a very confused state of mind. For all we know they could have been under the influence of alcohol and weed etc too..
Brian Entin, thank you and welcome back. We hope all is well at your home in Miami, as well. Your dedication is amazing. Kaylee and Maddie were making calls right up to 3:00 am, then silence - chilling.
Now that's what creeped me out that's what gave me the willies seeing those guys run.. because I'm pretty sure there were four murderers... And they didn't call 911 for 9 hours because they were cleaning up.. 3 a.m. isn't part of the murdering timeline anymore. There are a lot of undercover, some Moscow PD roaming around 3:344:30.. it was a very strange night obviously God bless the families and those kids so sad. Koberger was not alone, and more than likely didn't do the actual murder. A very dark and dangerous LOCAL drug element is involved. Stay tuned.

I said the same thing the other day. Sounds like he has a cold and dark circles under his eyes. I suppose a lot of people in that town are not sleeping well
Poor guy has been standing out in the cold for a month, at all hours. He can do the same job inside. We really don't need him freezing to death to report on this thing.
I think they have more information and at least a suspect in mind, even if they haven't released any information to the public about it. I hope they find enough evidence to arrest whoever did this soon. May they get justice soon...
Good idea. Ask the guys who got busted who they were. The Moscow PD has already put the message out that they want tips and are not interested in what you were doing the time e.g. underage drinking, smoking pot, stealing hubcaps, etc. They had to be ducking behind cars to hide and maybe they ran up to the towards the house to hide out until the cops were gone. Maybe heard a car, saw someone...something. I just hope they find and jail whoever did this.
It seems suspicious that nobody has come forward and admitted to being the elantra person. However, many years ago, like fifty (truly) I remember everybody looking for a specific family, a specific car. It was all over the news, constantly on the radio, you couldn't miss it. Yet it went on day after day. Finally somebody spotted them told them they were being sought. The people and their kids had no idea. Turned out the family had just returned from a military assignment in Europe and some kittens the kids had been playing with had turned out to be rabid and the authorities were desperate to find them to get them the rabis shots. They were just driving across the country in vacation mode, camping, and paying no attention to anything.
I was wondering if maybe the police said they are looking for that car but they already know where it is or where the people that own it is and they just said that to spook them into doing something with it I think they have done this in other cases
Because a small town has limited resources, is it possible that the call to police for the alcohol was a distraction for police to be elsewhere while the murders were being committed?
Years ago I was a roommate with a guy that got some stuff stolen in his side yard. I put a beeper on his fence gate door. He knew where it was he just had to turn it off before he opened the gate. Day after day he forgot setting the alarm off till he got frustrated and broke it. Makes me think student housing is the same.
The victims' wounds were so serious that there's no possible way the killer left that house without blood all over his clothes. The officer in the video obviously did not see anyone with blood on them or he would have questioned and more than likely detained them.
@@olgatrilogymartin3143 Not very likely. This was a vengeful and delerious killing and I doubt this killing was planned. It was a quick hit and run. Apparently, some photos show blood seeping out of the bottom of the siding on the outside of the house because there was so much blood.
A killer who is quiet and skillful enough to kill 4 people in the same home would most likely not make the mistake of running away from the crime scene.
Everyone who happened to be anywhere near the crime scene at the time of the murders IS of interest to the police and the investigation. Doesn't have to be the actual killer.
It sucks because whoever the owner of that vehicle is has probably seen that they're looking for them, but are too scared to go talk to them. Even if I were innocent, I'd be scared. Hopefully they end up finding the owner soon.
They should be scared if they had something to do with it ! If not and they have seen something maybe they should step forward and help these poor families get closure on their kids who were brutally murdered
Love Your Show. I Concur with Brian Entin that it is extremely important for the Media to keep this absolutely beyond Heinous and Senseless Crime in the Media.❤
Agree but other news media seems to being using speculation more than facts. Perhaps because there's nothing really new to report. This news cast is better than most.
This case has scared me, probably because I have children the same ages. I am keeping a close eye on them , and their friends. I am sending wishes for a speedy resolution to this crime.
Question! So police says this park interaction has nothing to do with murders. Were they there as a result of a random drive by patrol or as a result of a call coming from a complaint about drinking in park? If latter, has the police scoped out who made the call to compalin. What is this was a call made to divert police attention away from where they were about to commit their crime. The timing coincidence just seems a little strange
I’m so sick of the cops saying nothing is related RIGHT AWAY like do they even look into it?? So many people have said they called tip line and said they don’t even seem interested and irritated this case is not getting solved u have to WANT to solve a case and Moscow pd seems like they are asleep

At this time with Bryan being arrested, I can look back and see these are nuggets of information. I believe they have know who they are looking for the entire time!
I’ve been saying that someone may have seen something but didn’t think much of it. The time they think the murders happened a lot of people are sleep or up but not looking out the window but people may still be outside driving around within the area. I’m glad they have been checking cameras nearby and open to speaking with people who may have been awake within the area and seen something. It’s very possible someone passed right by the murderer and didn’t realize it or maybe even heard it. Many criminals try to cut through yards to dump evidence and not be seen by police. I just hope this is resolved. It’s so sad their lives were cut short. Please to all College students stay aware, get security cameras all over the outside and inside of dorms/houses, and try to remain sober at all times. I don’t think they were plastered drunk but still and please for those who hear something don’t be afraid to come forward. Help the families get closure. It’s times Like this where nosey neighbors and chatterboxes can help. Someone may have even noticed a person acting strange lately. I’m sure the killer is keeping the clothes and weapon close to them atp but maybe behavior due to pressure will get them to act abnormal and they’ll slip up and finally get caught
“Remain sober at all time” you’re really telling college kids to be sober. Living life that paranoid is not worth it. The college kids shouldn’t have to be worried about being murdered in their own home. This comment is unreasonable.
It's always low. It's so frustrating. I can't be the only person that says this. I wonder why they don't do something about it. Even small channels are able to control their mic volume better than this channel. I don't understand. It's so irritating. It makes me go to another channel to get the same information. uuugggghhhhh
We don't know what the police have, we can speculate all we want. Forensics tests will start to filter back soon, and hopefully, we will get a lead from this. The police cannot compromise the case this is the bottom line at the end of the day. As frustrating as this is, it's just a simple fact. I understand the families want answers yesterday, and it must be horrendous for these families. I am sure the police know a lot more than they are letting on, just let them do their job.
There are three cops there. Two cops are at the guys when stopped here. Third cop's body cam, the chief's? Is there, no sound. *** Jesse, all body cam tapes are on youtube.
What Brian was explaining about why the body cam footage was released was very helpful. Thanks. I’m also glad he explained that what we don’t want is for channels/news outlets to STOP covering this story. Keeping it alive and keeping pressure on LE is a GOOD thing. There are many unsolved murders where the families WISH the media were still covering it. Also, the thing that struck me the most from last night’s update by LE was the captain saying this re tips: “Anything could crack this case open for us”… That sure sounds like they currently got nuthin. 😕 And just an observation…the captain and police chief look identical.
WSU and U of I are 8 miles apart...2 giant college towns in the middle of nowhere-surronded by wheat fields. I'm wondering and been wondering from the beginning, if they have scoped out both universities? I went to WSU and even though the towns are in different states, there is so much cross-over bc of how close they are. I was always in Moscow bc Moscow had the mall. It was the only place to shop besides tiny little Pullman. There was tiny little Moscow and tiny little Pullman. That was it.
Brian I am not buying into it. Busy area at 3am but no one saw the killer? Running near the scene, no hanging out, not walking but running. It looks more like about 6 people to me. They are running for a reason.
It's not necessarily that they thought the video wasn't useful, it is entirely possible police didn't notice it. I've worked on murder cases where police conveniently narrow the scope of their investigation too quickly, and the potential real murder slipped the noose.
Oh the sleuths.. some really intentionally mean and angry people on FB’s Idaho Murder Discussion page. They aren’t a big channel, but you can’t even post there without everyone looking for something in your comment to be mean to you about or go to your page and criticize you about the way you look or your family. It’s deplorable behavior. They are bullies and need to be warned about their behavior as harassment.

Nice to see Brian Entin on this case and your show.
I love Brian Entin. Thanks to both of you!
I love how you said per-sue instead of pursue lol
I'm with you but disturbed by the report I saw before this one, about the guy who found the glove. Jeez!
@@RawOlympia The glove looks like one dropped from earlier yardwork activity at yard debris bin.. But sure, should have been tagged and bagged.
Love your voice. So easy to listen to. Thank you for all you are doing😊
I'm so glad Brian is back from Florida. It sounds like he uncovered the body cam video.
That's why I think it's the neighbor
@@brandonhurt9700 The neighbor gave DNA to police already, because he was being harassed by people

Exactly. I agree that know who but just don’t have enough to throw the book at him. People need to have patience.
This is what Moscow PD has experience in: bothering people who are drunk. They don’t have experience in murder investigations.
the occupant of the car still didnt come forward? how odd.. is it someone who doesn't keep up with the news? no socials? someone who was in the area doing something illegal like drug dealing or meeting up with underage girlfriend?

I think four weeks is not along time for to investigate the murder of four people, unless the murderer or murderers were dressed like astronauts there will be some evidence found, clothes had to be changed before leaving the scene, if it's more than one ,someone will slip up.i believe they all knew each other.lets all say a prayer for this to be solved, RIP students,
I agree. I was listening to a forensics professor who said, reasonably, it will take months to process this much evidence.
Plus a change of shoes no doubt. Really planned to be getting all of that ready so afterwards they can just leave without a mark.
As a parent this it's frustrating and so sad!!!!My condolences....
I just want to thank you again for continuing to cover this. Keep the pressure on so ths families can get some answers.

I would have more respect for journalists/media if most reporters were like him. No agenda, and carries himself with class and professionalism.
@@Jessica_Crease87 okay, edit to say this first: i am so sorry for your loss and how you found out about your dad. 😢 you are in my heart.
in gabby’s case, i am sure that her families were watching brian entin cover that moment- it was mostly for them and they had been working with him directly. but i agree! especially in this case, i am sure the families will count on brian entin to deliver the updates to them over law enforcement. the way law enforcement are treating these these families is unforgivable.
yes, these updates are being given to the public at the same time they are being given to the families, but they WANT the public to know. they WANT these updates to be public. they WANT the internet to help. they don’t trust law enforcement and are going to utilize whatever resources they have. luckily, brian is such an impressively respectful journalistic reporter.

i think the fact that they were not told about nor understand the basics of why the 911 call was made in the first place is devastating.
It was actually from the help of tiktok. Tiktok solving more crimes than the cops who are supposed to do that.

@@scottal I definitely believe “pressure” is a debatable phrase. Granted they get negative pressure from idiots that spread misinformation which can interfere with investigations. I think people need to temper their expectations a bit here in regards to this case. Solving a murder takes time. They just recently apprehended the alleged killer of the two girls on the bridge in Delphi and that happened like 5 years ago.
Well the probable cause affadavid is weak, and subjective. So I hope they have more evidence than that, otherwise he would be found innocent.

Not to mention if you are stabbed in the throat, you can’t scream. 😥

Despite the horrific nature of this event, can I just say how delightful it is to see two of my favourite TC/legal reporters on air together?
The thing is, we don't know if anyone did come forward, maybe people did.
Then police would say they have located the car lol
It was a lot easier to not see or hear about things 50 years ago when people weren’t constantly on their phones.
It seems almost impossible in the times we are in now that someone wouldn’t know they’re looking for them
I was wondering if maybe the police said they are looking for that car but they already know where it is or where the people that own it is and they just said that to spook them into doing something with it I think they have done this in other cases
Because a small town has limited resources, is it possible that the call to police for the alcohol was a distraction for police to be elsewhere while the murders were being committed?
Looks more like an "it's cold, hustle" more than a run.
I think they are on bikes and probably saw the other guys getting busted so hurried past them.
How about those Vans sneakers... hmm? Wasn't one of the footprints found at the house consistent with Vans sole?
Years ago I was a roommate with a guy that got some stuff stolen in his side yard. I put a beeper on his fence gate door. He knew where it was he just had to turn it off before he opened the gate. Were they there as a result of a random drive by patrol or as a result of a call coming from a complaint about drinking in park? If latter, has the police scoped out who made the call to compalin.

It's not necessarily that they thought the video wasn't useful, it is entirely possible police didn't notice it. I've worked on murder cases where police conveniently narrow the scope of their investigation too quickly, and the potential real murder slipped the noose.
