An outdoor security camera near King Road in Moscow, Idaho allegedly filmed sights and sounds from the night four University of Idaho students were murdered in their off-campus home. Bryan Kohberger, a graduate student at nearby Washington State University, is accused in the killings. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber dissects the Linda Lane footage with legendary former homicide detective Fil Waters.

What if I was injured at a daycare my children were going to, I ended up having major surgery and I'm no longer able to work and I still need more surgeries ?? Would you be surprised to learn that I couldn't get not one Lawyer in the state of NC to help me ? Also would you be surprised to learn that several daycares in NC doesn't have to have insurance ? The daycare this happened at is large and the owner has a chain of them.

I don’t believe Bryan Kohlberger committed these murders! I think he’s the scapegoat! I’ve been following this case since the murders!! There’s no way he could murder 4 people in 8-9 minutes on different levels of the home, stab them over 50+ times and fight with Ethan. He’s been in jail over a year and facing the death penalty by a firing squad.

I know! But then again, you have three issues (or more) to consider:
A: Some sort of psychosis/ psychopathological episode of influence
B: A possible “I don’t give a f*ck” attitude
C: Disorganized killer

I’m sure law enforcement investigated that given it was somebody at the house the night of the murders. The driver could easily have an alibi doing more orders.

@@rp3741 the only reason we don’t think that is because apparently the police have investigated interviewed and cleared a door Dash driver. So since at this point, we have to take their word for it. But definitely a possibility if the cops are crooked or have botched this investigation in someway or another.

I watched a video from this same house from 2:30-3:15 am. Two dog barks and some horrific screaming.

What confuses me the most is how there are no screams that were heard. If someone was being brutally murdered, I’m sure they’d scream for help or from pain. I’ve never experienced getting stabbed obviously but I’d imagine it’s pretty painful…

I'm sure you seen by now the testimony of Sy Ray (he was not in Idaho) & officer Payne (under oath) Kohberger's car was not seen in any cameras on the way back.
I hope he gets a FAIR trial.

As well as for BK and his family. Imo he has been set up in some type of way. If he is not the killer, which I certainly think he is not, he has been unfairly slandered in the media and portrayed as a serial killer and cannibal. If he is innocent in this case, he deserves complete vindication and apologies from LE, town of Moscow, and FBI as well.
@@heidi0710 Well said. The prosecution claims they have 51 terabytes of electronic data and they asked for 6 weeks to present their case. If the evidence was solid they would have asked for 3-4 weeks for a big case. I think they are going to try to overload the jury with circumstantial evidence of his web history and personal life given he worked in criminology there is plenty for them to draw on. I just can't imagine what mountain of evidence they have to require 6 weeks for this trial, albeit it's a serious DP case. But I've seen plenty of DP cases present in 1 week to around 10 days. I'm interested to see what this "mountain of evidence" is come trial. It may be possible they have a strong circumstantial case, and it seems just as likely that maybe they don't.

@@69LOLIN First knife sheath had touch DNA which is not nearly as reliable as blood DNA. Some courts will not use touch DNA in trial because it leads to reasonable doubt since it cannot be confirmed 100% that he was there when he touched the knife sheath. He could have touched it at a different place or different time or he could have shaken someone hand who then touched the sheath placing his DNA on the sheath.
Second, I don’t find the witness real reliable since she never called 911. A friend had to call 8 hours later for her. “Bushy eyebrows” is very subjective and doesn’t give any real distinguishable traits. If you were to go for someone with bushy eyebrows, EB has them as well as one of the student stopped by police at Bandfield. His name is Saeed apparently. My point I guess is that it having bushy eyebrows does not lead to the person who committed the awful murders.
@@heidi0710 But you add them together. Did Saeed's DNA appeared on the crime scene? Did electronic data placed Saeed to the crime scene? Was his car scene on video speeding away from the crime scene?

Yeah, and the "consistent with" jargon is misleading and could just as easily be read as "doesn't contradict" or "may or may not be". The fact that the video is dark is consistent with it being nighttime. The fact that he's contemplating it could be AI generated is consistent with it possibly being AI generated. You simply can't infer much of anything from what we saw here.

Honestly I think the potential speed of the attack lines up with the idea that if Bryan was intending to become a serial killer, or walk in the shoes of one, or something to that effect (related to his area of study and/or expertise), that he wouldn't be doing it so much for the gratification in the moment, but the after the fact knowledge of having done it and gotten away with it. It fits a mindset of "those other killers were sloppy, that's why they got caught, if I were to do it, I'd get away with it for x and y reason", a mindset of someone obsessed with serial killings and killers to the point of wanting to act it out in many different instances over a lifetime.
And like my comment, he wouldn’t be going in with sirens and making all kinds of noise.
I think it’s more likely that the crime was committed because of a murderous hatred for women. If he intended to commit a perfect crime, he made several huge mistakes.
1. The victims weren’t random
2. Taking his cell phone with him
3. Stalking the victims for months
4. Driving his car to the scene of the crime.
5. Dropping the sheath with his dna on it next to 2 victims.
He did have the hatred of females that bullied him and that he couldn't have. He also tried to beat Ted bundy's time. He felt that's what got him caught. (Allegedly)

There isn’t a front plate and it should have a front plate but being from Pennsylvania they only require a back plate.. so the car matches and it didn’t have a front plate like Kohbergers car

That second "dog bark" sounds like someone unlocking or locking their car (to me amyway). I have 7 dogs and I guarantee you that if there is a stranger around they go crazy, they wouldn't bark once or twice, so I personally am not convinced that they are dog barks.
Agreed. Plus, dog barks sound different whether they're scared, hungry, impatient, playing. A stranger storms into a house and murders 4 people, and the presumed dog barks a couple of times? Whether the dog was in the same room with the murderer or not, the implication is that the dog became alarmed. Any dog who's scared or alarmed is going to bark long & loud enough to raise the alarm or give up trying. I am not convinced either.

My thought on this has always been that Kohberger did this to see if he could get away with it. Which is super chilling.
This has always been there as a motive since they found out who he was, what he studied and his posts on Reddit asking questions about how to get away with murder.
For his first murder he really went all out… 4 people in less than 10 minutes … door dash before… 5 cars in the parking lot… not knowing which girls had boyfriends over… big Ethan…and sleeping people isn’t cutting it as apparently Xana not sleeping )(that’s if you believe the PCA and time)

Why weren't the 3 other DNA profiles found at the scene investigated?

@@Juke582 they only tested them to found out if those dna samples were male or female. They know that they are male. There was two unknown male dna found inside the house near the victims and one unknown male dna found on a glove outside the house on Nov 20, 2022. When the defense during a hearing back in Aug 2023, the lead counsel stated that they didn't know if any additional testing happened with those samples and bill Thompson said that they wasn't eligible. But he didn't explain why they wasn't eligible to be uploaded into CODIS. I still wonder why that is that case.

If genuine, this is riveting evidence. It’s utterly creepy to imagine what was happening, all the blood and butchery. As Phil noted, this video, if real, is but one piece of the prosecution’s evidence that BK was the sole perpetrator.

So not to worry, the whole vid actually shows Cleanberger had nothing to do with the first three endings. (Kaylee is taken back to 1122 upstairs & ended there)

The only way to tell if the vehicle was the Elantra is by stopping at the 4:05:41 am mark on the surveillance video. A person with keen eyesight could see the window trim on the right side of the vehicle. If that person were to compare that view to a picture of the same windows on the same year and trim of the Elantra, then this video would be solid evidence.
No, it would be at most evidence one of about 36000 cars in Idaho was around.

He's guilty but it is still pretty unbelievable that he was able to stab 4 people to death all by himself, not injure them but kill them all, one by one. Also, I can't wait to hear what the roommate has to say as to why she didn't call 911🤦🏻♀️

Try watching the surveillance video from Linda Lane that is from 1-3:00. Lots of screaming and people yelling names. It's been out for months now too.
The screaming video was debunked as staged as I recall
I believe Maddie was the only intended target. BK was totally surprised to encounter Kaylee in Maddie's room. That frazzled him and he lost the sheath in the mayhem in Maddie's room. The dog barking and noise upstairs alerted Xana. BK encountered her first and then Ethan. I believe the first thump was Xana hitting the floor and the second was Ethan hitting the bedroom wall.

Bundy killed 2 girls and left one survivor at the Chi Omega college house. He did this in 15 minutes. So it's possible for one person to do this.
The college house was not 15 min. Reports only state that the break-in occurred around 3 am or 3:15 am. Plus, Bundy left behind loads of evidence if he did it in 15 min. BK allegedly left touch DNA on a sheath but no other evidence of the crime in his car, home or workplace in a confirmed 15-minute window.
He left 2 survivors and the witness that saw him leaving
So killing 4 people in 10-15 minutes beat Bundy's record
those victims were asleep in their beds, the Idaho 4 fought back.huge difference .
Only Xana had defensive wounds. Maddie and Kaylee could easily be dispatched if caught sleeping

If his knife sheath is left behind and has his dna on it then he’s screwed. There’s no reason why his knife sheath should be there what so ever. From the beginning this whole murder has been crazy and investigation seems to be rushed. Still plenty of evidence to be presented in the trail and it’s going to become more clear on what happened. Just hope family finds peace and gets Justice

Well, it doesn’t need an explanation. Looking at the car models from 2011 / to 2015, they look alike makes it hard to differentiate between them. So, yeah not much of an explanation is needed.

If owner of dog was being harmed, you think only one bark entering and exiting. Most dogs would repeatedly bark at a stranger, and a person harming the owner.
This video, alone, is pretty worthless. It is misleading since cars drive, dogs bark, and things go bump in the night. People who claim they see the Elantra, or all the rest are reading what they have been told into this video. What would be better evidence is to watch many days of activity between 2 - 6 am to determine how unusual or not this is.
@JohannaTx- I would be shocked if there wasn’t a bit of a yelling between 1:30 AM - 2:30 AM. Consider : It’s a weekend night in a college town. Bars are closing, parties are dispersing, and kids are heading home. It’s a festive time of year.

The video is genuine and should be listened to from approx: 3:48am, start there, lots going on from around that time. Definitely a fight, yelling etc. You need good speakers and silence when you listen. It alters everything with time, and who did it IMO.

The noises on the footage between 2 and 3am seem much more plausible to me. There you hear E shouting X's name multiple times + him screaming, most likely in pain. 2am is a dark time, E's parents said, remember? I'm sure they said this for a reason.

What I think is insane is how he killed 4 people by stabbing with others in the house who survived so quickly. The sheer amount of force and time it takes to kill somebody with a knife is immense.

Not to mention Murphy who must've been barking and causing a little bit of a disturbance for the perp. There are these little details some seem to forget about, when envisioning the steps taken to commit this crime. AND come away from it without a spot of DNA in the house or anywhere near the perp.
@@Pllm30 The estimated timeline of the murder is 10 minutes. In 10 minutes, he would have had to break in, kill 3 girls and a man who were in 3 different rooms on 2 different floors in a huge house. A few of the victims struggled including likely Ethan. There were other people in the house who made it. There were no reports of screams. Then, he would have had to exit the house and be gone. All in 10 minutes. I’m 6 feet tall and 230 lbs. I swam on swim team at the University of Southern California and even I likely couldn’t pull that off in 10 minutes by myself. Not saying he didn’t but all it takes is a tiny discrepancy on the timeline and he goes free.
