Asking about toro powershift trans gears, shift selecter. Have not seen much service on them. I know the diff takes gear oil or grease . Does the gear selecter trans need service.

As long as the worm gear is sealed and not leaking then it does not. For the gear selector, grease the shaft.

Gear oil should be changed as it breaks down eventually. It's better than rebuilding it! The worms gear do wear out as I found from a few customers that neglected to change the gear lube. Some actually had greased the worm gear! big mistake.

Is there an air filter on the Toro 824 POWER SHIFT? SORRY IF IT SOUNDS LIKE A STUPID QUESTION

Hey Robby , good job again sir . Just curious do you ever use your ultrasonic cleaner ? I don't ever recall you using it. Carburetor cleaner does work great but I was just wondering . Catch you on your next video sir . Take care .

Just depends on how dirty the carb is. If the old gas has not started growing I can usually get away with just carb cleaner.

How reliable and is their any maintenance on toro powershift snow blower transmission

They are reliable as long as you use shear pins, otherwise that brass gear takes a beating and will eventually fail.

Snow blower Toro 824 mdl 38540 ser 0000131 jumps from forward to reverse and reverse to forward. How do I remove it? Txd

I have not had to remove one before so I am not sure of the exact steps. I would ask on the small engine or snow blower reddit.
