Your activities are more helpful than my art therapist. Thank you.

    Mine was…
I am hurt and in pain. I feel depressed because the world is full of blood and this hurts my heart. I’m here because I want to splash positivity and I want you to become aware of your wounds. I’m here to help you heal.
Wow, feel like I found my life purpose & the pain was completely unrelated to any of that. Currently facing a lot of my own struggles that are making it hard to keep going but this became so much more than me.

Thank you! It would be helpful if you add the task and questions to the description. I paint something, but my pain is emotional, not physical... so not sure how it works and how my picture will help.

One simple way to help is calming music and hummm along this engages your vagus nerve and helps block intrusive thoughts and can assist in focusing. This is evidence based ...I am a therapist...best of wishes to you

It looks to me like she used acrylic paints. I did it using watercolours, but I didn't get such a vibrant result. Still, it worked, and I think you should use whatever you have.
