Union Pacific 5290 West 223-Feet Below Sea Level At Bombay Beach, California April 29th, 2024

Zipping right along at the front of a 64-car mixed manifest, Union Pacific 5290 (C45ACCTE), 8512 (SD70ACe), 8796 (SD70ACe), 7702 (C45ACCTE), and 6431 (C44ACM) are passing the lowest elevation community in the United States, at 223-feet below sea level. Nice grab of the 6 engine Union Pacific manifest as you keep getting farther below sea level.. Great shot when you pan over to show the end of the train in the distance.. Great video bro.!!

Thanks buddy! I was lucky to see this train coming from at least 3-4 miles away, so I had time to pull over and setup a shot...2 shots, in fact! I got one with the GoPro too. But I definitely wanted to pan and show that big face by OBEY on the signal bungalow. Oh BTW...this is the lowest elevation town in all of the United States, at -223 feet. It sure gets hot here!
