I really like and still rocking my LANCOOL 216. I bought the extra dust filter and the optional USB A side mount ports with fan and RGB controls. It's been a great case, but you must always be on the look out for the next best thing.
I have the Lancool 216, wanted it be as small as this case but the front fans are too big for that to happen. While the 207 is really nice, if Lian Li could bring some of the premium features from the 216 down to the lancool 207, it would be one of the best cases.
Very Clean build, and I love the filming & editing. It can be hard to make a cinematic video for white things, but they definitely killed it this video. 😎
Just don't plug the RGB cables in then? Lol. Or turn off the lights in your motherboard's software (or L Connect, which I guess works with this case lol, I would hope so).
Can you make a thermal tierlist video? Or a bang for buck tier list? That would be a nice sideline from the norm. Even an obligatory "Best cases of 2024" or something as well!
If air cooling, could you place the mobo higher such that the top IO bracket is utilised by the video card? Nice case, nice review! 100% agree on black with dark tinted glass or mesh side panel.
My only gripe with this case is the lack of native storage options. And by 'lack' I mean 'not enough'. I suppose if you wanted to put more SSDs down below, you could...if you're willing to get 'creative' with double-sided tape.
How many SATA SSDs do you really need? Lol. If you want a server, get a different case that supports a dozen drives. It's 2024, most people are moving to NVME-only storage. I know, NVME used to be the boutique/high-end option, but prices have really come down over time, with some of the slower NVME drives costing the same or sometimes even less than the same size 2.5 SATA equivalent drive, while still being way faster than them. It just makes sense that cases are moving away from the old storage option support. Be glad that it includes it at all, lol.
@@kasper_429 Plenty. In a perfect world where 4TB NVMEs were cheap, I wouldn't have an issue, but as I mentioned before, you can fit a lot more SSDs in that case if you REALLY wanted to. 😅
Beat me to it 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I love Nick but that line with the timing of when this video released is hilarious. I guess he's done with them now that the collab with Montech is released, lol.
@@robertmajors1737 Thanks a lot, I am going to use it with an aio. Building my first ever pc and wanted to make sure I have everything correct on paper.
@donstraight4175 Honestly, I would probably put a fan back there, but mostly for aesthetic reasons. It just looks kind of empty to me without one. If your budget doesn't allow for a fan there, I wouldn't worry about it at first. You can always add one in later, if you're not satisfied with the performance or the look of it.
Hey can you maybe review the Jonsbo D300 in black or white. It is a M-ATX case with a curved sidepanel and I can find no review which is englisch or German. I personally think that this is a very cool case I would be happy if you could review that THANK YOU
Yeah, I've been thinking about buying this case but once you see the cable you just can't unsee it. It's such a small thing but it would annoy me every time I'd look at it.
Because they are absolutly not needet anymore if the Case uses ultrafinemesh 😉 why someone should really want these is beyond me...from personal experience i can asure you they are not necessary, i'm using a Lancool 2 Mesh and a Lancool 216 for my personal second and third Systems 😌and they are whitebuilds that are absolutly clean even after 2 years of using them...but i clean them 2 times a year inside with a electric pccleaner blowing out everthing and every 2 + weeks i clean the Front meshpanel with a paper towel👍🏻
@@allcarparebeautiful One of the biggest complaints I've read from 216 owners, including myself, was the dust issues due to no filter for those massive 160 mm fans. Every case I've ever seen with a PSU not on the backside of the case is like this. Nobody cares because who flips the PSU switch off? It's not an issue.
So it's smaller, lighter, can still fit 360 radiators and the biggest gpu, and has one of the best cooling performance and by far for its price? Yeah, lian li won again

Finally an alternative to the NZXT H5 flow. compact atx ftw.

Agree that a mesh side panel would be really good as an alternative to glass, if not just for the extra airflow
Very Clean build, and I love the filming & editing. It can be hard to make a cinematic video for white things, but they definitely killed it this video. 😎
It would be way more tempting for me if there were a non-rgb model. I'm sure they'll probably release one later, but why not at launch?
Just don't plug the RGB cables in then? Lol. Or turn off the lights in your motherboard's software (or L Connect, which I guess works with this case lol, I would hope so).
@kasper_429 I get that, but the fan blades are white and will still have the infinity mirror hub. I just want a black box lol.

Beautiful case I will get the black one.
were there any issues with cable management? gamers nexus said that bulky cables could cause issues for getting the rear panel to close.
If you lower the speed of the video to and you pause it exactly at 13:28, you can see that there is enough space
How about noise under load?
I don't hate fish tank, as long as they have dust filter and rotate the PSU 90 degree, let me easily insert the modular cable into the PSU....
How can you be over fish tank cases? You just came out with a fish tank case with the Montech collaboration.
right lol

My respect for going against fishtanks!!!!!

@@Bradh90 Or just unplug the argb cable to them.
This or the 206?
Hey GS, would a rear exhaust fan be a good addition to this case or should I leave as is?
If you're air cooling, it would be good. If using an aio, it will probably help a little, but not fully necessary.

Does it fit the Lian Li edge PSU's ?
Yes, I saw it on GamersNexus's video.
@@robertmajors1737 thanks I googled it, and the results for fitting were positive. That's the only PSU I'm going to put in my builds from now on.
Great. I now regret buying the Lian Li 216 earlier this year. Love this case.
216 edges it for me👊🏽
I'm not a fan of Lian Li's choice to not make all there line of fans fit with all there own cases😆
Fish tank cases are a horrible fad.
too restrictive with psu, if you wanna advertise atx spec, at least accomodate most of it...
Cheap, cools well, comes with four decent fans……nah, But mines arrives Wednesday
Tough call between this case and the Fractal Design Pop Mini Air to hold my backup PC. Looks like a decent $80 case with some neat features.
for $80 usd with argb fans that's not bad really.
🔥🔥🔥Functional Design and I like the Hexagon vents.
I liked it very much
Like the case but the power cable connector being on the side that is most visible is kinda strange.

Couldn’t agree more! I know it’s a small gripe, but it also would have been so easy for them to have moved it toward the back of the case.
If it really matters to you that much then buy a $5 left angle power cord from monoprice or something.
Not a bad idea !
dude, why does thise vibe?
Have one question why replace psu? take test Gamemax f36,46 classic construction without to much innovations but effective
Why didn't you connect USB? There is a small problem with connecting USB 3.0.

Hydroshift. It literally says the name in the video
