Hi James your reviews have gotten better over the last year and your english is easier to understand. As an american i find a lot of english dialects hard to understand
Thats good to hear, my Yorkshire accent is probably one of the most difficult English accents to understand. I try to speak as clearly as possible but it doesnt always go to plan. 😊
Really well designed that. some issues like the uSB 3 header, but seems small in the grand scheme of things, nailed the price anyway. 2024 market is so expensive, this is a little jewel in the crown
Quick release panels are useful, but rare on a case that only costs £75. At that price, not sure you'll be the kind of builder who needs multiple radiator positions. Looks appealing. Anywhere you can see it near London?
@@KitGuruTech I looked everywhere for it in the US and couldn’t find it online from anyone besides resellers marketing way over retail. I opted for the Superflower Leadex VII GX ATX 3.0 instead which has been treating me well
no back connect mobo support. guess you need to move higher up the Lian Li stack for that. still it would have been possible I think with a little bit more work on chassis
UPDATE 01:03 - The Lancool 207 is available for pre-order at £74.99 from OCUK here: www.overclockers.co.uk/?query=lancool%2520207
Really good price that. The white one is even the same price, thats unusual.
Ah good update. Showed 90 in the video.
Price drop makes it so much more tempting
yeah i wouldnt call that a BUDGET case, its about twice as expensive as the real BUDGET lineup...
I like how the fans at bottom are not blocked by the power supply, always annoys me how manufacturers never think of that
Yes absolutely. 👍🏻
You could just switch the PSU and fan positions and it would have the same effect. But this way you are limited to only two front fans.
Finally, a case that doesn't break the bank but still has high end features!! 😍 Love Lian Li!
I like the side vents with mesh, quite subtle - nice they include some really good fans too - good airflow fans
I like the thermal test section changing the door and disabling fans etc - nice idea well executed. thanks Kitguru
Thanks, its good to hear you find that useful.
I'm a fan of how many cases are coming with prebuilt gpu brackets. Just a little thing to make life a little simpler.
Thermal performance testing was good James, great results
Fans included. Good cooling performance. Great looks. Well designed. £75. Job done 🍻
And they are some nice fans too
Its a good price for sure
Lian Li have nailed this one, love to see their work !!
easy to work with and looks fantastic, I like the modest tint too, some of the tints are too dark and hide your build inside which I dont like
a lot of detail guys, nicely done. Would be handy to have the system specs in the description. you normally do - someone forget?
Yes, sorry, we have added it. nice spot ! (long week !)
The analysis section at the end was worth waiting for, cooling efficiency is really solid
Thanks and yes
Wow and they actually worked out not to block the lower fans with a power supply. unlike many *cough corsair*
Installation and layout, build quality - great work Lian li
Thanks James, you are my favourite case reviewer on youtube by far !
Wow thanks 🤩
Nicely made, Wish they would have thought a better idea for the internal USB connector, seems a bit of an afterthought that one
Lian li have always been top 3 cases in world. Never changed. 🏆
You sound like a fan
Shame you didnt get the white case man, that black one is nice but I like white look so much more special when they are built
Agreed, the white one does look good. 😊
When discussing fan obstruction, the video was a white chassis. Maybe they got both but only featured black?
James, the best case reviewer on youtube - shame they didnt send you both cases to look at
Hope it was useful anyway 👍🏻
Id love to have seen the black and white side by side, the black is pretty good tbh

@@KitGuruTech Yorkshire accent is fantastic.
Looks pretty good, fans are nice - cooling performance looks pretty solid too
It’s a better deal than most I’ve seen this year.
It’s a good buy yes as we said.
Really well designed that. some issues like the uSB 3 header, but seems small in the grand scheme of things, nailed the price anyway. 2024 market is so expensive, this is a little jewel in the crown
Thanks James, very thorough. Now to just decide which color to do the first customer build with.
You build PCs for a living? nice one
I love my Lian Li 011D, bought it after reading the reviews, thanks James !
😊
White one looks nicer on the webpages but good to see black cases for a change in a video
The black one has no detail in it whatsoever really dull case
I like Lian Li, had great success with them over the years
Thinking about buying this one ?
Looks really good for the money 😮
Especially with the price drop !!
Loved the build James - shame about the USB 3 header, found that with another Lian Li case too for some reason, seems a weird one to miss
great testing methodology Kitguru. Interesting to see how it performs in different situations.
Glad you liked it!
James builds are great, and he does proper analysis too
Thanks !
Great thermal testing James, like how you have sections for doors and fans off etc. Not every populates cases with fans etc.
Thanks!
Really good for the money , nice review James, always like your reviews
Thanks, I'm glad you found it useful.
Good review Kitguru. Thanks 🎉🎉🎉🎉
No problem 👍
Great airflow case - very well designed and thought out - would be nicer in white than the black version you reviewed James
Yeah it is available in white too 👍
Thanks jimmy boy. An in-depth bit of analysis as always
No problem, give my best to Luigi
the internal design is excellent - not ideal for a heavy watercooled case but for the money its still quite capable
Would you prefer this case over the Phanteks XT Pro Ultra in terms of value?
Looks great, the tint is just right too
It’s light but effective. Yes.
This is a great case, I would have loved to see the white beside the black one too
I would like to see the white one too. 😊
That is very very impressive and good value
awesome case just built in it!!!!
7600x3d
7900xt
360 aio
Where did you manage to get the 7600x3d?
nice job James. Liked the build too !
Thanks
Great thermal performance - 6c is huge to me !
I imagine you could tape off or otherwise block that lower rear vent so that air is only coming in through the filtered sides.
Quick release panels are useful, but rare on a case that only costs £75. At that price, not sure you'll be the kind of builder who needs multiple radiator positions. Looks appealing. Anywhere you can see it near London?
I have the lian li 215x and love it.big open space and the 200mm front fans bring in alot of air
What hardware are you running in it ?
That is awesome, super review James
Thank you kindly
Awesome case deserves to sell a lot
Yeah its a decent price.
Lian Li are known for their high end stuff, but this is very tasty indeed for the price. especially with (pretty good) fans included too.
It is a perfect. budget case - well done LL
Great review guys ! covered all the bases there
Thanks!
Will a 360 arctic liquid freezer 3 fit? Could be very tight with its 65mm Radiator
Excellent review James as always. Thank you :)
My pleasure!
Thanks James, brilliant as always man
Very welcome
james is impressed ,thats enough for me. Where can you buy it?
OCUK in the UK< other countries, just check your local etailers.
Awesome for the money. Loved the psu location idea too
Glad you liked it!
You know they have been doing these a long time, the way they make the cases- always a lot of thought goes into the design and impliementation
They are generally good yes.
I like the front power supply fitting, but I wonder if the extension cable is good enough quality to handle 1000 watts+
Will be fine.
Excellent review. Covered it well James. I just bought a montech however but good option.
thanks!
Great looking build james thank you
I'm glad you like it. 👍
I have lian li 206, should I upgrade to this lian li 207? Is it worth the upgrade
Woud a arctic frezer iii 360mm fit in there?
Good question. I'll try it an report back.
@@KitGuruTech I would appreciate it
That is the one question i've allways have regarding a case. Will the Arctic LF AIO fit. That would make or brake a case for me.
@@KitGuruTechHave you tried it?
Briliant case, well impressed with that, good ideas inside too
Glad you like it
Quite a standard case really very gaming orientated not a bad price either.
Its nothing special except maybe the location of the PSU.
I liked the testing. Some good ideas
Thank you!
Great review James thank you 🎉
My pleasure!
I like the fact you can connect cables easily to the PSU if you change the components, but I am not a fan of adapter cables for power supplies.
Want a bigger version that supports ATX-E and 420 rad in the top.. maybe two 180 in front? Back connector support as well.
When using air cooling, which would be better -- a rear mounted 120mm exhaust fan, or top mounted exhaust fan(s)?
I'm using both, 2 on top 1 on back. Leave the third space towards the front intake fans empty
Thats a really fancy PSU you've put in that
And a difficult one to get in the UK.
@@KitGuruTech I looked everywhere for it in the US and couldn’t find it online from anyone besides resellers marketing way over retail. I opted for the Superflower Leadex VII GX ATX 3.0 instead which has been treating me well
Weird about the USB 3 connector and the pressure - you would think that would have been found out during R&D
What happened to the cooling article you said you would do James ? Thermalright coolers are great wanted to get your take on them
It's work in progress still.
Lack of hard drive space stopped me from buying this case, going to have to go for the 216 instead.
Very positive review and fair. Liked you found issues too and reported on them.
James is always firm but fair.
thanks!
Do i need to put a exhaustion fan near the motherboard?
Great review James 👌🏻
Thanks! 👍
Black one looks great. 👍🏻
I like it. Some seem to prefer white
Which is better, the 207 or the 217
This is my new case. Was thinking about nzxt h5 flow. But gonna go with this
Let us know how you get on with it
Nice, great seeing some value stuff!
Yeah its been all super high end stuff recently.
no back connect mobo support. guess you need to move higher up the Lian Li stack for that. still it would have been possible I think with a little bit more work on chassis
thermally its certainly well thought out. not sure its the prettiest case, but at 75 dollars im willing to overlook that.
Can I use a non module psu in this case?
A james build for the weekend - time for a cuppa and cake ! Shame you didnt get the white version
What cake?
You mean time for a beer its Friday
the power supply and fan positions close by should really be a standard thing
I would have loved to see the white one reviewed properly by James too
Well it’s the same case so we kinda did already !
How long is the CPU 8 pin power cable run for this case?
Could have easily been a perfect case with just being 1 cm wider and having more bottom clearance for the PSU. The 217 might do even better.
Lian Li rock - no other way to say it.
How effective is the built-in anti sag bracket?
works well
imagine side swivel glass 😍😍
The internal usb connector location seems an oversight.
great case. Well done Lian li
What app use to sync the front fans led? My 2 front fans in my lancool 207 doesn't have same rainbow effect as yours in the video 16:16
Lian li should be a protected company ! Been using them since I was a kid. Many eons ago !
Long history in this sector for sure
Very Nice review 😃
Thank you 😃
Those thermals must be some of the best in the sub 150 category, never mind sub 100 ?
Thanks - its a good case, amazing they include some good f ans with it too
